Perfect
GGuest UserHigh-quality central diffused oxygen for 18 hours: The diffused nasal oxygen in the room was very practical. City shuttle: The hotel also provides a car service to attractions like Potala Palace and Jokhang Temple, which is very convenient for getting around. The location is also excellent, reaching the city center in just 10 minutes. Hygiene: The room linens were very tidy, and the cleaning was thorough and spotless. The smart toilet was a great convenience, and the hotel also offers free massage chairs available all day, which were very useful.

GGuest UserThe St. Regis Lhasa is undoubtedly the top choice for accommodation in Lhasa. Its ******* luxury decor creates a fantastic ambiance, and the rooms are perfectly equipped with diffuse oxygen systems, which greatly alleviate any discomfort from the high altitude. You can even enjoy stunning views of the Potala Palace right from your window – truly breathtaking. I must give a special shout-out to my exclusive butler, Sangbu, whose service was both professional and incredibly warm. He was attentive and thoughtful throughout my entire stay, providing high-altitude travel tips in advance and greeting me with a comforting hot black tea upon arrival to soothe my body and mind. He was super responsive to all my requests, whether for itinerary advice or item delivery. He paid close attention to my physical well-being and was genuinely humble and kind. The service from this local ******* butler added an extra touch of warmth to my experience. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, with a great pool, spa, and restaurants that maintain high quality. Breakfast offers a rich variety of choices, and the location is excellent, making it very convenient to visit Barkhor Street and Jokhang Temple. Overall, my stay far exceeded expectations. I'm incredibly grateful for Butler Sangbu's meticulous care, which added so many wonderful memories to my Lhasa trip. I will definitely choose the St. Regis Lhasa again on my next visit and highly recommend everyone to ask for Butler Sangbu!

HhohotimVery satisfied with everything, the best is the customer service, always answer all questions. Buy an oxygen tube for RMB 10/piece, and you can arrange an oxygen machine at the lobby bar to provide free oxygen. There were sanitary defects, cigarette butts were found, we don't smoke as a family, but it was acceptable, the sprinkler pipe leaked, and the water pressure increased after cleaning. Everything was cured by the warm customer service.

QQiabeibeixiaojie_I stayed at this hotel in Lhasa for several consecutive nights! What I loved most was the super spacious Tibetan-style courtyard on the first floor. I was absolutely mesmerized the moment I walked in! You can dine, enjoy sweet tea, afternoon tea, pet cats… In short, it’s perfect for leisurely spending time in Lhasa. The hotel is right on the Barkhor Street kora path, just a 3-minute walk to Jokhang Temple! I heard this used to be the Nepalese Consulate 400 years ago, and now it's the Gesar Japo Museum! Carvings, murals, and antique objects are everywhere. Exploring this heritage-listed ******* ancient building truly feels like stepping back in time. Upon check-in, there's a traditional Hada presentation. The staff are so warm and helpful, even assisting with luggage. They also offer complimentary ******* traditional clothing for photos. In the room, there's a special high-altitude welcome kit: facial masks, hair essential oil, makeup remover wipes, and more… so thoughtful for female guests! The hotel offers a self-service breakfast. It's a tranquil oasis amidst the hustle and bustle, truly a master of creating a wonderful atmosphere! 🏡

GGuest UserThe hotel offers both diffuse oxygen supply and nasal cannula oxygen in the rooms. The staff are very welcoming and attentive. On the first night, the room temperature wouldn't go down, but after discussing it with the front desk the next day, they promptly moved us to a different room. The butler was also very enthusiastic, showing us to the new room and explaining all the features and how to use them. They were also very responsive whenever we had questions. The hotel is conveniently located, not far from Potala Palace and Jokhang Temple; a 20-minute walk is quite manageable. However, the hotel itself is located down an alley, which made it a bit difficult to find and a tiring walk. Also, the breakfast was just average.

XXiaojingerdegushiMany people, myself included, often debate between the St. Regis and the Shangri-La, as both hotels in Beijing are quite unremarkable. Ultimately, I chose the Shangri-La for its value for money. I had considered Songtsam too, but common sense told me to be a smart spender. Although the hotel shows its age, its architectural style is grand and refined, revealing luxurious material choices. Time has inevitably left its mark, but a classic car, even when old, is still a classic car. Moreover, service and quality require time to accumulate and withstand market scrutiny. While the Shangri-La may not have many existing locations, it still holds a strong market advantage, and it takes an discerning eye to appreciate it. My butler, Bowen, arranged my room before I even arrived. Looking out the window at the Potala Palace's silhouette in the distance immediately set the mood. He then meticulously delivered on all aspects of my package. I found Bowen to be a man of few words but very steady, highly responsive, and an exceptionally smooth driver. He never asked inappropriate or subjective questions, which I truly appreciated. Over three days, Bowen's accompaniment added a unique dimension to my Lhasa itinerary. Among the few Tibetans I've encountered, he was a definite plus. I sincerely wish him all the best in his work! The Shangri-La in Lhasa lives up to its brand's standards and enhances the reputation of its sister properties. I'm so glad I made the right choice; this will be a memorable and wonderful travel experience.

ZZiyoudexiaobaiyangIt's close to Guo Street, making transportation very convenient. The only downside is that the oxygen supply wasn't as good as I expected; I woke up in the middle of the night with a headache.

SS.M.Bosses and staff were caring with my altitude sickness. Great, friendly and convenient services like laundry for free at the rooftop with a beautiful view on the Potala Palace, helping out with food orders & car pick-ups and drop-offs, various trip arrangements, luggage storage and so on. The hotel has a nice authentic architecture with a big lounge area and cool temperature inside. They have a heating blanket, humidifier and if needed, also oxygen. Located just off the main road which offers quiet sleep at night. Surrounded there are eateries, fruit shops and nice traditional alleys to walk to both well-known and local places. I extended my stay and returned for another night after a trip.

GGuest UserI checked into the hotel on March 28th. I had severe altitude sickness. I saw a reminder on the Ctrip backend that the hotel would start supplying oxygen at 8pm, so I had to buy a few oxygen cylinders myself. There was a problem with the humidifier in the room. The room attendant came in without saying hello, just filled the humidifier with water and left. There was no minimum courtesy or kind reminder to customers about the instructions. There was no training or assessment on weekdays. At 8 o'clock, there was still no oxygen, and my oxygen cylinder had been used up. I called the front desk and she told me that the oxygen supply would start at 8:30. At 8:30, I called her again and she said the technician had gone to open it. At 8:33, she called again and asked me to wait. I arrived directly at 8:37. I questioned the front desk, but they still didn't feel uneasy. I went to the VIP building of Tibet Hotel as a person with altitude sickness. Many other hotels provide oxygen all day long, but they didn't provide oxygen from 8:30 pm to 7 am the next day, which is very unfriendly. I didn't expect that they didn't provide it during the time period and there was no apology. I had a severe headache from altitude sickness and found the front desk to question them. High-quality service should open oxygen for customers in advance and care about their physical condition. This front desk was arrogant and had no sympathy for the customers. Altitude sickness is very dangerous. I accepted such a cold and ruthless service experience of the VIP building of Tibet Hotel when I was extremely uncomfortable. I will never come again! !

GGuest UserThe hotel isn't to far from the Portola Palace (a short taxi trip). I wouldn't say its a true 4 star hotel. The room was a good size, quiet and didn't smell of cigarette smoke. The room was a little worn out; I couldn't get the TV to work, the mirror on the wet bar area was cracked, there were marks to the walls where paintings/pictures had once been. Most annoying was the shower cubicle and the shower over the bath had only cold water! On my last morning the power was off in my area of the hotel and the lift was not working due to the power outage. The hotel staff do not speak English, but one lady working on reception was especially nice and helpful and we were able to communicate by using the translation app. There are lots of restaurants near by, but next time I think I'd prefer to stay closer to the Portola Palace.
