The service here is incredibly comprehensive. The hotel is tucked away in a quiet spot but still close to the action, and the facilities are excellent. They even provide an oxygen concentrator in the room, which is a thoughtful touch, and the room views are absolutely fantastic. My only minor suggestion would be to have a more varied breakfast selection. I'll definitely recommend this place to my friends and look forward to staying here again next time I'm in Lhasa.

The bedding at Atour is quite good, but the service is just so-so. They upgraded my room for free, and it's fairly spacious. I'd say it's neither good nor bad, just average. The price doesn't really match the decor.

The hotel is not far from the Potala Palace. The parking lot is large, there's a night market nearby, and a large supermarket is right next door, which is very convenient. The front desk staff were friendly and professional, check-in was quick, and they even proactively upgraded my room. They patiently answered all my questions about local sightseeing. The room was meticulously cleaned, even the corner of the bathroom was spotless. The room wasn't facing the street, so it was very quiet. The bathroom had a separate shower and toilet! Highly recommended!

The towel bath towel has a good texture, clean and dry, no smell, and it is safe to use. The hotel takes into account the characteristics of the plateau, and the room is fully equipped with oxygen to relieve the discomfort of the first time to the plateau. The front desk service is warm and thoughtful, the procedures are efficient, and the problems can be responded in time. The hotel is quiet, the night rest is not disturbed, and the travel is very convenient. I love this hotel. Staff were very friendly and caring. Due to high altitude sickness I wanted to buy Pocari Sweat on Mei Tuan but didn't have a local phone number to place the order, the ladies at the front desk helped me out. They also upgraded me to a room with the view of the Potala Palace. The room is nice, clean and spacious with oxygen supply and lots of bottled water provided. There is a big shopping mall 300 meters away (about 10-15 minutes walk) which you can find restaurants there. Free laundry service is a big plus as I spent 6 nights in this hotel. I feel the price is absolutely worth it for the customer service they provided, and I would love to try the hotels under this chain (Hilton) next time when I travel to other cities in the future.

This business trip was my first time to the plateau. It was originally just an ordinary trip, but it became my most unforgettable stay experience. When I first arrived at the hotel, the warm smile of the girl at the front desk made me feel very friendly. When checking in, she noticed that my face was not very good, and immediately sent a cup of warm sweet tea, and thoughtfully arranged a well-ventilated and sunny room for me. Late at night, I suddenly felt unwell. I used to come and go to the plateau frequently for business trips. This time I probably caught a cold. It was snowing in Lhasa. After that, I quickly contacted the front desk, and the duty manager quickly arrived with the staff. They were professional and calm. One helped me adjust the pillow and body position, and the other gently patted my back to help me breathe. After I felt more comfortable, I felt that I didn’t need to go to the hospital. What touched me most was that they were afraid that the room’s diffuse oxygen supply was not enough, and they also thoughtfully pulled the oxygen tank. It was so thoughtful. The next morning, the doorbell rang gently. I opened the door and found that it was the girl at the front desk who personally brought the breakfast tray, which was filled with porridge, side dishes and steaming sweet tea. ”I was afraid you might feel uncomfortable, so I sent it directly to you,” she said softly, ”Just tell us if you need anything.” Every day after that, I could always hear a gentle knock on the door at a fixed time. Sometimes it was fresh fruit, and every time it was accompanied by warm greetings. Before leaving, the girl at the front desk specially wrote down my return time and helped me call a car in advance. She stood at the door of the lobby with concern in her eyes. At that moment, I suddenly realized that real service is not about form, but about caring from the heart. In this strange city, I met not service staff, but a warm presence like family. Thank you for interpreting what true hospitality is with your meticulous care. Such warmth is worth remembering forever. Next time I come, this will definitely be my only choice.

The hotel isn't to far from the Portola Palace (a short taxi trip). I wouldn't say its a true 4 star hotel. The room was a good size, quiet and didn't smell of cigarette smoke. The room was a little worn out; I couldn't get the TV to work, the mirror on the wet bar area was cracked, there were marks to the walls where paintings/pictures had once been. Most annoying was the shower cubicle and the shower over the bath had only cold water! On my last morning the power was off in my area of the hotel and the lift was not working due to the power outage. The hotel staff do not speak English, but one lady working on reception was especially nice and helpful and we were able to communicate by using the translation app. There are lots of restaurants near by, but next time I think I'd prefer to stay closer to the Portola Palace.

The rooms in the VIP building of the Tibet Hotel are much better than those in the main Tibet Hotel. The former has been renovated, has oxygen supply, and the breakfast is much better. It seems that the two parts are operated by two different entities, so upgrades are not available directly; you have to check out and book a new room.

I went to Ali with my friends. When I went back to Lhasa, I looked at many hotels online and chose this one. The room is large, the facilities are good, and the hygiene is clean. The room is equipped with oxygen and humidifier. The shower is hot. It is convenient to eat and shop around. You can also see the Potala Palace in the cafe on the 7th floor. The service is very good, patient and meticulous. The train station pick-up service provided by the driver is enthusiastic and meticulous. He helped with the luggage and drove the car to the nearest place to the station entrance, saving a lot of walking. If I come to Lhasa next time, I will book it again.
