"Choosing this hotel for my trip to Lhasa was absolutely the right decision; the overall experience was excellent from start to finish. I really must share this with anyone planning a visit to Lhasa. The hotel's location is truly exceptional, right in the heart of the city center. You can walk to Barkhor Street in just a few minutes. A short walk to the left takes you to the Potala Palace, and to the right, you'll quickly reach Jokhang Temple. It's incredibly convenient whether you want to go for morning prayers or explore during the day. Downstairs, there's a supermarket and authentic ******* restaurants, so you don't have to go far for snacks, local specialties, or a quick meal. You won't need to stress about planning your routes, which is perfect for first-time visitors to Lhasa. The hotel's overall ambiance is quiet and elegant, with a strong, minimalist ******* aesthetic. There's no noise or commotion. The guest rooms have excellent natural light and ventilation, and come equipped with 24-hour oxygen supply. After a long journey to a high-altitude area, staying here meant no discomfort from oxygen deprivation, and I slept exceptionally well. What surprised me most was the attention to cleanliness: the room was spotless, with no dust on the floor or windowsills, and the bedding was neat and soft. The bathroom, vanity, and shower area were dry and odor-free, and the towels and toiletries were neatly arranged. Even the nooks and crannies were perfectly cleaned. It's clear the cleaning staff put a lot of effort in, making the stay incredibly comfortable. The front desk staff were exceptionally warm and attentive. Check-in and check-out were efficient and quick. They proactively offered helpful tips on local attractions and注意事项 (things to note) for pilgrimages. Any requests during my stay were responded to promptly and willingly, and they patiently answered all my questions. They even offered hot water and oxygen tanks. When I checked out, they thoughtfully presented me with a local specialty souvenir. Their demeanor was gentle and sincere, with no hint of perfunctoriness. Overall, the location, living environment, hygiene, and service attitude were all impeccable. It offers excellent value for money. As it's the Year of the Horse, I wish every traveler to Lhasa a smooth journey. If I come to Lhasa again, I will definitely choose this hotel. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting Lhasa!"

Ruixi Fuoxi Hotel (Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Street, Lhasa)

"The room was clean and tidy, with oxygen inhalers and humidifiers, not too far from the Potala Palace and Barkhor Street. Take the bus three stops to Barkhor Street, but the bus in Lhasa is gone at 9:30 in the evening, and it is too late to take a taxi, which is not expensive. The front desk of the hotel is very polite, and the check-in will be welcomed by Hada. It feels better. I hope to have the opportunity to continue to stay next time."

Located in the core downtown area of Lhasa, the Hampton by Hilton Lhasa Potala Palace Square Hotel enjoys exceptional advantages in cultural tourism and transportation. It is only 900 meters away from Potala Palace Square, within walking distance of this iconic landmark of Xizang. The hotel is approximately 2 kilometers from Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Street, and around 2.2 kilometers from Ramoche Temple, all easily reachable by a short drive. Guests can conveniently visit the key cultural attractions in the heart of the holy city and immerse themselves in the folk customs and historical culture of Xizang. Additionally, the hotel boasts efficient transportation links: about 8 kilometers from Lhasa Railway Station and roughly 60 kilometers from Lhasa Gonggar International Airport, ensuring smooth intercity travel for both tourists and business travelers. The hotel is well-equipped with comprehensive facilities, featuring a total of 183 exquisite guest rooms and 277 beds to fully accommodate diverse accommodation needs, including business trips and family travels. Addressing the challenges of traveling on the high-altitude plateau, the hotel has established a full-range oxygen supply system. Each guest room is equipped with dual-mode oxygen supply devices for both diffuse and nasal inhalation, while a 24-hour oxygen bar is available in the lobby to relieve altitude sickness around the clock, allowing guests to enjoy a comfortable and reassuring stay.

"The first time I came to Lhasa, I chose this place after comparing many hotels. The stay experience exceeded expectations. The whole trip was particularly comfortable because of this hotel. Lhasa is high in altitude and dry in climate. It is easy to not adapt to the beginning. This hotel really understands the needs of highland tourists. The details are very intimate and make people feel warm. The overall environment of the hotel is clean and tidy, the public areas are clean and atmospheric, and there is no smell. The room hygiene is impeccable, the bedding is soft and clean, one guest is changed, the bathroom is separated from wet and dry, the washing area is clean and transparent, and the corner hygiene is very meticulous, which is very safe for tourists with cleanliness. The room is well lit and ventilated, the overall atmosphere is quiet and comfortable, the rest at night will not be disturbed at all, and the quality of sleep is particularly good. The most surprising thing is the exclusive service of the hotel's plateau. In response to the dry climate in Lhasa, the hotel prepared moisturizing supplies, which perfectly relieved the problem of dry skin and dry mouth and nose. At the same time, the oxygen supply service is very practical. When you first arrive at the plateau, you can feel dizzy and weak. Moderate oxygen supply can very well relieve high anti-discomfort. It is very friendly and safe for tourists who enter Tibet for the first time. The front desk staff is gentle and professional, and the check-in and check-out process is fast and efficient, and it will not be cumbersome and procrastinating. The staff patiently answered all travel questions, took the initiative to inform the plateau precautions, and also intimately recommended the surrounding play routes and food locations, clear and practical guidelines, meticulous and thoughtful service, sincere and not perfunctory. The hotel is strategically located, convenient to travel, and very convenient to the surrounding attractions. The overall price is super high, the facilities are perfect, clean and comfortable, the service is warm, and it is perfect for the accommodation needs of Lhasa travel. This stay experience is full! Whether it is the first time to enter Tibet, worry about high reaction, or friends who are pursuing a clean and comfortable accommodation environment, I highly recommend this hotel. I will definitely choose to stay next time I come to Lhasa!"

Combining altitude comfort support, cultural experience and exclusive sightseeing space, our hotel offers all-around thoughtful amenities to bring every guest a soothing and delightful plateau travel experience.

"You can view the view. There are also many free drinks. Of course, you can also pay for other special drinks. The overall appearance of the hotel does not make people feel amazing at a glance, but it is absolutely treasure. The decoration inside has a combination of Tibetan and modern styles. The supporting facilities are particularly good. The whole house is oxygen, humidified, this must be available in Lhasa, the location is excellent, not far from the nearby attractions, there is a parking place at the entrance of the hotel, the front desk lady will also help find a location to park. Our family of three lived very comfortably, especially with children who wanted to live clean and tidy. Originally, there were a lot of luggage supplies for children. I really didn't plan to bring any disposable bedding, so I chose the hotel very carefully. I looked at it and looked at it. It seems that my choice is correct. , Finally, let's say a point! Some rooms lie on the bed and wake up and open the curtains to see the Potala Palace, and there is a night view of the Potala Palace on the top of the hotel building, which is better than the night view seen in the Potala Palace Square."

"This was my third stay at Thangka, and it has noticeably declined compared to my stays in 2018 and 2023. The main reason I chose it again was its proximity to Jokhang Temple. However, this time I experienced significant and continuous noise at night. The next morning, during breakfast, I realized the noise was coming from a machine in the 4th-floor restaurant or the self-service laundry area. I promptly checked out the next day and informed the front desk. The front desk attendant was very kind and assured me that she would report it immediately. I hope Thangka improves."

NNeko CI love this hotel. Staff were very friendly and caring. Due to high altitude sickness I wanted to buy Pocari Sweat on Mei Tuan but didn't have a local phone number to place the order, the ladies at the front desk helped me out. They also upgraded me to a room with the view of the Potala Palace. The room is nice, clean and spacious with oxygen supply and lots of bottled water provided. There is a big shopping mall 300 meters away (about 10-15 minutes walk) which you can find restaurants there. Free laundry service is a big plus as I spent 6 nights in this hotel. I feel the price is absolutely worth it for the customer service they provided, and I would love to try the hotels under this chain (Hilton) next time when I travel to other cities in the future.

GGuest UserI booked a room with a Potala Palace view, and it truly felt like the entire palace was right in front of me – the view was absolutely perfect. The bedding was also very comfortable, and I slept wonderfully every night of my four-night stay. The facilities were comprehensive, with nasal oxygen equipment and a humidifier, both working well. The bathroom facilities were a bit basic, and there was a slight odor from the floor drain. Every night, fresh fruit and yogurt were delivered to the room; the yogurt was delicious. There's no private parking lot, so you have to walk about 100 meters, but the hotel reimburses the parking fee.

GGuest UserThis youth travel is really pleasantly surprised. As soon as you enter the door, you will be wrapped in a warm atmosphere. The public areas are arranged in a stylish manner. Everyone sits together and chats and plays games, and is as lively and comfortable as a small family. The food is also very good, the breakfast is rich, the local specialty snacks are authentic, and I eat every day. The room and public restrooms are spotless, the bedding is clean and tidy, and it is particularly safe to live. The boss and staff are super enthusiastic, will take the initiative to share the surrounding play guides, and also help us solve various small problems. GGuest UserThe hotel isn't to far from the Portola Palace (a short taxi trip). I wouldn't say its a true 4 star hotel. The room was a good size, quiet and didn't smell of cigarette smoke. The room was a little worn out; I couldn't get the TV to work, the mirror on the wet bar area was cracked, there were marks to the walls where paintings/pictures had once been. Most annoying was the shower cubicle and the shower over the bath had only cold water! On my last morning the power was off in my area of the hotel and the lift was not working due to the power outage. The hotel staff do not speak English, but one lady working on reception was especially nice and helpful and we were able to communicate by using the translation app. There are lots of restaurants near by, but next time I think I'd prefer to stay closer to the Portola Palace.
