The water heater was a bit old, so hot water often ran out during showers. Overall, my impression was still good, and I was quite satisfied with my stay."

Finding a guesthouse this satisfying made me want to cry (in a good way)! If I could rate it 10 stars, I'd give it 11! 🥰 This is my dream home! The interior design is incredibly stylish, and I absolutely adore the vibe. The small courtyard outside is quiet and cozy, both rustic and elegant, creating a particularly warm and fashionable atmosphere. It gives you a feeling of warmth, comfort, and familiarity, making you feel as relaxed as if you were home. It truly lets you unwind, comparable to a paradise on Earth. Enjoying this wonderful time, I finally understand why Tao Yuanming chose a reclusive life – 'picking chrysanthemums by the eastern fence, leisurely seeing the southern mountains.' Who wouldn't love a paradise like this?! It's absolutely the best choice for a trip. And most importantly, the owner is incredibly kind! They drove us everywhere for meals and activities, and their food recommendations were all delicious and authentic. When we went rafting, they even thoughtfully prepared raincoats and supplies for us, and told us what to look out for. For us out-of-towners, having such kind locals by our side is truly the best part of the journey. It allowed us to fully enjoy this trip. Meeting such an approachable owner was a blessing. And the lady who handled our booking? Her explanations were so detailed and thoughtful, and she was incredibly gentle. As college students, we almost cried listening to such patient and meticulous explanations! If our trip hadn't been so tight, we really would have wanted to spend a few more days enjoying the courtyard. After all, an environment like this is super special – a tranquility you just don't find in the city. I really want to strongly recommend it to everyone! The location is also excellent. We were going to the West Slope, and the owner drove us there in less than 5 minutes. I heard parking is also super convenient. Next time, once we learn to drive, we can road trip and enjoy the scenery along the way, then come back to this warm and friendly guesthouse. It's truly a great choice for all seasons. Trust me, everyone, college students don't lie to fellow Chinese people! Mom, I'm coming back next time! 😭"

"The location of the resort is very good, the room is warm and comfortable, it is raining, and I have not seen Tianchi. In terms of catering, there are many types and hotel services. The manager of Xiao Tang is warm and thoughtful, plus quilts, slippers and children's needs are met, plus from check-in to check-out, every link makes people feel very comfortable. If there is any problem, they will help solve it in time, and the quality of service is very high."

"Conveniently located with pick-up and drop-off service to and from the high-speed rail station. It's just a five-minute walk from the guesthouse to the West Scenic Area Visitor Center. The room was clean and tidy, the mattress was very comfortable, and the heating was excellent – even I, who gets cold easily, was sweating while sleeping. The only downside is that they use a storage-tank electric water heater, and there wasn't quite enough hot water in winter."

They helped to arrange for our activities there together with the transportation. They suggested activities to be done and update us from time to time. Communication was easy. Rooms were clean. Online reviews mentioned the staff weren't enthusiastic, but during my 4-day stay, I found everyone to be very nice and friendly. A special thank you to employee number 5040, who provided us with incredibly warm and meticulous assistance from check-in to check-out, patiently answering all our questions and making us feel right at home. Both in terms of facilities and service, this hotel deserves a five-star recommendation, and I will definitely choose it again next time I visit Changbai Mountain."

"Extremely satisfied with my stay! The Wanda Jin Changbaishan Suite Hotel is incredibly friendly for ski enthusiasts, with excellent facilities. The biggest surprise of this trip was meeting our butler, Miss Yiwen. She was super professional and enthusiastic. Because our flight was delayed, we arrived very late, but she waited for us. When she learned it was our first time in Changbaishan, she even helped us find a map and meticulously marked out great photo spots and authentic restaurants. This level of thoughtful service left us with a fantastic impression of Changbaishan."

"The hotel is well located, about 30 min by taxi from Baishan Changbaishan airport, 10 min walk from the West slope departure center as well as many restaurants. It looks majestic from the outside and inside, although a bit old. You can enjoy inside and outside hot springs of different kinds and temperatures. There is a huge buffet with various choices for breakfast (Chinese dishes mainly, two kind of fruits and some Western options). The room was very spacious and comfortable. The carpet floor was not very clean and the room smelled like cigarette on the first day, although we asked for a non smoking room. After leaving the window open the whole day it was better and the smell did not come back."

The room is warm without air conditioning. I don't really need air conditioning. The only shortcoming is that the outdoor hot spring is no longer available. I saw that the reviews always said there is no outdoor hot spring. The hotel can completely cancel the service that their facilities do not have an outdoor hot spring. Otherwise, I think it is false advertising."

"Very friendly and helpful staff! Although their English was limited, they were extremely supportive in helping us book activities and explore the area. There were very few guests during our stay, which made the experience feel very personalized and unique. The room was beautiful, very clean, modern, and comfortable. The fishing activity at the hotel’s pond was unfortunately out of season, but the staff kindly arranged and paid for us to fish at a nearby lake instead, free of charge. It was a very thoughtful gesture and greatly appreciated. The location is slightly on the outskirts, so taxis are needed to reach most attractions and the walking street. Unfortunately, we arrived at the end of February when the winter season was ending, so some of the area’s natural beauty was fading and a few activities were no longer available. If you're looking for a quiet and beautiful place to stay, this hotel is an excellent choice."

"Since I was visiting locally during the off-season, there weren't many people, and the service was impeccable. The general cleanliness was very good; if you don't nitpick, there are no flaws. The facilities are a bit old, though. The environment and air quality are excellent, with beautiful scenery all around. My stay coincided with the greenery flourishing, so it must be even more stunning during peak season."

Booked a Sheraton but got upgraded to a Westin family suite, which was spacious and well-equipped – the kids loved it! Concierge Xiao Hui provided excellent service, and overall, the hotel was fantastic. May Day must be considered off-season, as the entire Wanda resort area seemed understaffed. Many restaurants were closed, and we stayed for three days without getting to try the toboggan ride..."

"The hotel facilities are complete, with lots of space for kids to play, and the decor style is perfect for families with children. The room is very large; it feels like four or five people could comfortably stay in one room. The room is clean and hygienic. There are public commercial facilities and hot springs on the island, but you need to drive to them. The hotel front desk service was warm and thoughtful. They even gave us a takeout box for the leftover eggs and bread from breakfast, and when we checked out, they gave each of us a small gift and bottled water. I absolutely loved it! 😍 I'll definitely come again."
