Kay575Our flight landed late at night, so we arrived at the hotel quite late. As we were struggling with our luggage at the entrance, we bumped into a staff member who had just finished his shift. He was incredibly helpful, taking our bags and escorting us in. Check-in was swiftly arranged, and we were even offered welcome fruits. The room was spacious, and the mattresses could actually be pushed together to form an extra-large bed. The facilities were comprehensive, and they even provided disposable towels, bath sheets, and toilet seat covers for germ-conscious guests – a truly thoughtful touch! Every corner of the hotel was designed with great taste, and they even had their own resident stray cats, which were adorable. Breakfast was an absolute highlight – it wasn't just beautifully presented, but every dish was delicious! Even our taxi driver mentioned that this guesthouse is one of the best around. Definitely worth the trip! You curious souls should absolutely come and experience it for yourselves!

Guest UserThis hotel is in an excellent location, just a few hundred meters from the Wanda Resort, with plenty of dining and entertainment options nearby, and beautiful scenery. The owner is incredibly welcoming, always smiling with a warm, honest expression. Their travel itinerary suggestions are exceptionally professional; they planned our three-day trip perfectly, ensuring we saw everything without feeling rushed or tired. It truly felt like coming home, and it significantly improved my impression of Northeast China. Definitely a full-mark recommendation!

Guest UserAlthough the facilities aren't brand new, they are very clean, and the bedding is spotless. Even though there's no air conditioning, it wasn't hot at all at night; I even needed a blanket in the middle of the night. All the staff were lovely, especially Crispy Shark at the front desk, who was incredibly helpful and reminded us to close the window because it would get cold at night.

Guest UserHow can you visit Northeast China without experiencing a traditional 'kang' (heated bed)? This resort is tucked away deep inside the scenic area, offering peace and quiet, and plenty of fresh air. This trip, we, three adults and two children, stayed in two family deluxe rooms, and it was the most comfortable three days of our Jilin trip. The rooms were spacious, and the three-meter-wide kang easily accommodated three people. The restaurant also offered great food at reasonable prices, and the staff were incredibly warm and attentive. We couldn't even use all the perks the resort offered; the kids absolutely loved the hot springs and didn't want to leave even after two days of soaking. Next time, I'd love to try visiting in winter.

After the Mid-Autumn Festival here, the moon cakes were very sweet, and I saw the fireworks, and the surrounding scenery was beautiful. I brought my parents to live for 3 days and the whole family was very satisfied! In the homestay, quiet in the middle of noisy, there is a small yard at the door, and a small vegetable garden planted by the boss himself. It is very warm and clean. My parents can drink tea and sunbathe there every morning. The boss was very patient and helped us plan a slow tour route that was not in a hurry. The location was simply excellent and it was very close to our attractions. The room is quiet, the layout is warm and distinctive, the furniture in the comfortable room is not sharp corners, the hot water is stable for 24 hours, and the water temperature is also suitable for elders. The hygiene is done carefully, and there is no dust in the depths of the wardrobe. My parents said that it is more comfortable than living at home! No matter the facilities, sanitation, environment, and service are impeccable in all aspects, it is simply the best choice for travel!

Anonymous UserThis resort's hilltop location offers breathtaking views, which is its biggest draw. The forest environment is quiet, and the room size is decent, with a complimentary minibar. The shuttle bus service to and from the town is quite convenient. However, the hotel is a bit old, and some facilities show their age. Being in a mountainous area, you might occasionally find small insects in the room. Amenities are limited; the gym requires a shuttle ride to another building. Prices can be high during peak season, and service response times are average. It's best suited for travelers who prioritize views and a peaceful atmosphere.

Feitianluobo81The hotel's location is excellent, making it convenient for visiting the South Slope the next day. The room was clean and tidy, and we could easily access the hot springs downstairs. The hot spring water was clear and sparkling, very comfortable. Dining at the restaurant downstairs was also very convenient. The staff were friendly, enthusiastic, and attentive. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

XiangergongziChangbai Mountain family trip with kids.
They were very generous and upgraded us to a suite, but we didn't get the room until 4 PM. The staff were all quite enthusiastic, but the concierge service was disjointed – lots of staff but disorganized, and they almost missed delivering one of our bags if we hadn't reminded them.
There are dogs you can arrange to meet, and they are all very cute. They also gave us Wanda benefits, and the mountain coaster was a lot of fun, though we had to wait an hour in line and there were no restrooms at the top.
The hotel has two hot spring pools, both very comfortable.
The downside was the breakfast, which was really subpar and didn't meet Park Hyatt standards. It was a mix of à la carte and buffet. Two of the stir-fried dishes were the same for both days, and all the noodle dishes were bland. By 9 AM, some items on the à la carte menu were already gone. In summary, it was rather basic and not very tasty.
Room amenities were also a downgrade. The slippers were rough and thin-soled, uncomfortable to wear. When I asked, they said these were the only kind they had.
During turn-down service, they left a half-empty bottle of water by the bed that we hadn't finished. Very economical of them.

AifeierzangTrusting an established brand, I chose The Westin, but was utterly disappointed after checking in.
The front desk staff and hotel butlers were all very warm and attentive. The parking garage attendant was also excellent and very considerate, especially when the garage was full.
While I had anticipated the hotel facilities would be dated, given it's been open for many years, my actual stay was a huge letdown. I really hope the hotel management seriously considers renovating the property.
Firstly, the room number design and signage on the same floor are confusing. I stayed in 33xx, but there were also 32xx rooms on the 3rd floor. When looking for my room, it was easy to assume and I ended up taking many unnecessary detours.
Secondly, not only was screen mirroring unavailable, but the hotel's cable TV signal displayed noticeable static. I even wondered if the TVs hadn't been replaced since the hotel opened. Screen mirroring is now a basic feature in most hotels.
The bathroom had a very strong and distinct urine odor. After reporting it, staff cleaned it and it improved somewhat.
Cleanliness was an issue: I found spiders 🕷 in two different spots. Many surfaces were old, moldy, and blackened, which looked very unappealing.
The housekeeping staff needs further training. Shoes left in the room were not neatly arranged, some were even askew, and the advertising flyer by the bed was just haphazardly placed.
The toilet paper was far too thin.
Is it normal for the shower gel to produce no lather when used?
There were food residues, similar to rice grains, on the back of the information sheet on the desk. Clearly, the previous guest had left it dirty and it hadn't been cleaned.

Facilities: The facilities are very comprehensive, with the overall decor featuring wood and stone. Although I read some reviews before coming that mentioned it being dimly lit inside, I personally feel it perfectly matches the primitive ecological style of Changbai Mountain and I really like it. When you're on vacation, you want to find this kind of raw, natural feeling.
Cleanliness: The hygiene conditions are excellent overall, very clean.
Environment: The environment is a major highlight. The hotel offers many complimentary benefits, and the entire resort is well-managed. All staff members for the activities wear unified uniforms, and from the airport shuttle bus to the hotel, they are very responsive and enthusiastic, truly showcasing the hospitality of Northeasterners.
Breakfast: Very rich, with both Chinese and Western options. Especially for those who enjoy Western food, they even have overnight oats and Eggs Benedict, which shows great thoughtfulness.
Overall, I'm very satisfied with choosing this hotel for my family vacation with the kids. The location is also very convenient, with a direct exit to the commercial street from the back. The airport transfers, recreational activities, and even the concierge helping to arrange rafting and transfers to the West Slope all justify the price. I'd love to come back for skiing if I have the chance.
