I booked this hotel after watching the evaluation of Trip.com . I arrived at the hotel and found that it exceeded expectations. It is a very cost-effective hotel. The location is 5 minutes walk from the Xipo distribution center. It is next to the Eurasian Comprehensive Shopping Mall. There are clothing, daily necessities, and supermarkets. There are small restaurants on the street. There are a lot of snow clothes for rent. The color of the hotel room decoration is beautiful, which makes people happy. Smart toilet, heated toilet seat, indoor central air conditioning, very warm, water temperature is also very good, don’t worry about bathing, the bed is very comfortable, the quilt cover is very clean, we live on the 5th floor, the sun is very good, I will open the window halfway through the room, and I don’t feel cold when I come back. By the way, the breakfast is not bad. I am very happy to live here and it is a perfect trip.

The location is very good, there are many delicious restaurants at the door. It is tens of meters away from the gate of the scenic spot and 200 meters away from the shuttle parking lot. Attentive service, clean and hygienic. The TV couldn't be turned on, so it took us a long time. The hot springs provided by Wanda are also very good. They have indoor and outdoor facilities. It is very refreshing to take a bath in the hot springs from the mountain.

I found this hotel by myself. I was attracted by the big kang in Northeast China and the classic big flowered jacket. I thought I could try a hotel of different styles when I traveled to Changbai Mountain. I brought my baby to experience the feeling of sleeping on the kang. I thought that the suite for 4 people would have at least 2 toilets and two bedrooms, but I found that there was only one toilet. The shower was electrically heated. After taking a shower for 30 minutes, I had to wait for 20 minutes before the next person could take a shower. It was really a bit depressing. It took a long time to take a shower at night. I hope that the hotel can be more considerate and at least equip the 4-person room with 2 toilets. The hotel is good in other aspects. You can try the feeling of sleeping on the kang!

The service is very good, the hotel environment is beautiful, the animals are very docile, the room is rich in drinks, and the sunset is very Nice while taking a bath; breakfast is a set meal system, although it is a pre-made dish but the variety is rich, it can be improved to use on demand to avoid waste. The downside is that the surrounding facilities are seriously insufficient and the dining is inconvenient; The so-called waste industrial style of hotel decoration is explained well, but I personally feel that because the occupancy rate is not high, the funds are not in place, I obviously see the unrenovated part. To add, the quality of decoration hardware, drinks, toiletries and other quality is still OK.

The room r clean as what we pay for. The amenities is share basic for the onsen need to be pay services charge for the towel, kids above 140 subject adult surcharge! Hidden cost compare to other hotel which we stay before. Most important is the bus shuttle provided is so limited seat and time slot!! And the service guy *** introduce us go outside hotel service such as dining in the ice room. Unhappy things happen the meat we order cannot been cook after boil more than 5 to 10min even 20min! And so many amenities which hotel have the best he told us hotel food taste average!!! The management still look into this staff!

So if you are coming here, you are going to Wanda Ski Resort. There are so many many hotels in the area that it really doesn't matter so much which one you pick. Holiday Inn is one of the furthest away from the resort, but the price reflects this. However, it is still only a 10-15min walk (even when it's cold and icy) from the resort. The hotel is busy, there will be wait for the front desk, this is why service got 4/5, but the actual information from staff was okay (no English though so god bless my Chinese partner) The hotel has a mini cinema, a restaurant and access to the ski slopes. You can hire ski's, snowboards along with all the boots and clothing required so you don't need to worry about that. In the hotel is the rental place, you rent your gear and you simply walk out of the hotel and you are at the ski slopes. Please note this is NOT the same 10min walk to Wanda ski resort, the hotel has its own access to the mountain and you use that. The restaurant is fine and breakfast was a buffet with mainly Chinese but some western stuff too. The room, it's not large, but not cramped. Very warm, we even needed the windows open at -40C outside to avoid being too hot. There is a mini supermarket in the hotel, but a better 24 hour store across the road. I think for the money paid compared to other hotels, its very good value. Maybe other hotels have bigger rooms or more restaurants, but as every hotel is next to each other, I wouldn't bother paying more to get one closer to the resort as you can save thousands of RMB for a 1 min walk. And as most of your time will be spent in Wanda ski resort, you won't be in your room much. I doubt I would return to Changbaishan / Wanda Ski resort as an area, but if I did, then as long as the value was still there, Holiday Inn Express is a good enough choice
