I found this hotel by myself. I was attracted by the big kang in Northeast China and the classic big flowered jacket. I thought I could try a hotel of different styles when I traveled to Changbai Mountain. I brought my baby to experience the feeling of sleeping on the kang. I thought that the suite for 4 people would have at least 2 toilets and two bedrooms, but I found that there was only one toilet. The shower was electrically heated. After taking a shower for 30 minutes, I had to wait for 20 minutes before the next person could take a shower. It was really a bit depressing. It took a long time to take a shower at night. I hope that the hotel can be more considerate and at least equip the 4-person room with 2 toilets. The hotel is good in other aspects. You can try the feeling of sleeping on the kang!

The environment is very good, the front desk is very good, and the explanations are very patient. All questions are answered and all requests are met.

The hotel is just inside the gate of Changbai Mountain as shown in the picture The only reason I chose this hotel is that they can help me book tickets and it is close to the entrance of Changbai Mountain (but I didn't expect it to be so close, probably less than 100 meters, it feels like I can see this pointed ticket gate after walking two steps) It is indeed a bit inconvenient to go out to other attractions, but we are mainly here to go to Tianchi so it's okay. The room environment is better than I expected, quite clean, and similar to the style of Beipo Lanjing And the front desk service is very enthusiastic, especially a sister with round eyes who really tries to meet our needs as much as possible. We didn't bring a hot pack and couldn't find the store, and she also helped us find a colleague.

The hotel is in a nice skiing area. Just leave and there is the first lift. The rooms are sufficient but maybe not standard for a 4 stars hotel. Example no rain shower, no iron to iron shirts. Unfortunately the room we booked the heating was not working which is by minus 12 a no go. Therefore it was necessary to move in another room. The employees were very nice and helpful and tried to do the best to solve it immediately. The restaurant I tried only 2 times. For the Christmas dinner and one for lunch a noodle soup. The dinner was just a ok except the backed ham was delicious. The noodle soup was not really good for the price. The breakfast is standard Chinese breakfast. I loved there the noodle soup. (Why not at lunch?) and the Chinese pancake are also very good. The lobby bar is nice place to relax but the training for the stuff have to improved. I asked for semi dry red wine. Lately I picked a bottle by myself based on the grapes and my experience cause no help here and to open the bottle the waiter had to search first and opener. But the Cabernet Sauvignon was good. A recommendation is the coffee black no milk no sugar in the lobby bar. Very good. Worth mention there were a lot of coupons included in thbooking like for skiing, hot springs and son on. Summary the hotel is worth staying but they should also consider some improvements.

During my stay at the hotel, I was impressed by Zhang Boyuan's attentive and considerate service. Because of him, our trip was very safe and happy. Whether it was the time of the shuttle bus or the pillow of the hotel, he was always available to answer and solve the problem. The hotel room rate includes ski tickets, hot spring tickets, and snow park tickets. There are no other expenses except food. There are not many people, and the service is very good. The food is also very special. The holiday experience is very comfortable. The room rate includes: 2 adults and 1 child ski tickets (one per night)

Changbaishan Grand Theater is downstairs from the hotel, where you can watch Errenzhuan. This is the only hotel with hot springs in Wanda International Resort. Guests from other hotels have to come here to soak in hot springs. The hot springs are beautiful, with various water temperatures and effects. We booked a king-size room, which felt a bit old; but there was a humidifier in the room, which is worth praising. There are many snow house hot pot camps, ice fishing, and rafting nearby.

Very satisfied with my stay in this hotel. The hotel has convenient transportation, fresh air, beautiful environment, and many delicious food... The comfort of the room and the warm service exceeded my expectations. The room was beautifully decorated with complete furniture and facilities, and the bed was very comfortable, allowing me to get a good rest during the trip. Moreover, the hotel staff are very friendly and professional. If you have any questions, they will answer them immediately and provide attentive help. The hotel facilities are very complete, including hot springs, gyms, and swimming pools. You can arrange a variety of entertainment activities in the afternoon and before returning to your room. The most surprising thing is that the hotel's breakfast is very rich and varied, and every dish is delicious. Hot spring tickets for 2 large and 1 small Wanda Yuehua Loft Hot Spring Hotel: The hot spring tickets are not in this hotel, and they only open in the afternoon. 2 large and 1 small airport pick-up: no use if you drive there Breakfast is Chinese style and quite rich. The twin room we booked was upgraded to a parent-child room, which is very convenient for bringing children.

So if you are coming here, you are going to Wanda Ski Resort. There are so many many hotels in the area that it really doesn't matter so much which one you pick. Holiday Inn is one of the furthest away from the resort, but the price reflects this. However, it is still only a 10-15min walk (even when it's cold and icy) from the resort. The hotel is busy, there will be wait for the front desk, this is why service got 4/5, but the actual information from staff was okay (no English though so god bless my Chinese partner) The hotel has a mini cinema, a restaurant and access to the ski slopes. You can hire ski's, snowboards along with all the boots and clothing required so you don't need to worry about that. In the hotel is the rental place, you rent your gear and you simply walk out of the hotel and you are at the ski slopes. Please note this is NOT the same 10min walk to Wanda ski resort, the hotel has its own access to the mountain and you use that. The restaurant is fine and breakfast was a buffet with mainly Chinese but some western stuff too. The room, it's not large, but not cramped. Very warm, we even needed the windows open at -40C outside to avoid being too hot. There is a mini supermarket in the hotel, but a better 24 hour store across the road. I think for the money paid compared to other hotels, its very good value. Maybe other hotels have bigger rooms or more restaurants, but as every hotel is next to each other, I wouldn't bother paying more to get one closer to the resort as you can save thousands of RMB for a 1 min walk. And as most of your time will be spent in Wanda ski resort, you won't be in your room much. I doubt I would return to Changbaishan / Wanda Ski resort as an area, but if I did, then as long as the value was still there, Holiday Inn Express is a good enough choice
