The Changee Hotel MINI (Beijing Xiedao East Gate) is a great choice for guests looking for accommodation in Beijing, having been recently renovated in 2023. With Beijing Capital International Airport just 10km away and Beijing Chaoyang Railway Station only 13km away, transportation is very convenient. Seeing Beijing's sights from this hotel is easy with Crab Island Hot Spring, Tian'an Holiday Sports Club, Beijing and Beijing Han Tangquan all close by. When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities. This hotel is a popular accommodation for guests traveling for business.

"I came to Beijing to visit relatives and chose a hotel nearby, Qingji Hotel. It was pretty good! The receptionist was very attentive and helped me find a nice room. The room had a window, was clean and hygienic, and the facilities were all quite good! The hot water was great, and there was a 24-hour supply, so I could shower anytime. The bus stop was very close, right next to the door, making getting around very convenient!"

Beijing Wanda Vista Hotel

Overall, it's a good hotel in all aspects. The young man at the entrance immediately offered to help us with our luggage as soon as he saw us. After checking out, a lady in a cheongsam gave a teddy bear to my child, who was very happy. However, there was one strange incident: we didn't touch any drinks in the fridge, but housekeeping claimed we drank a bottle of Alien electrolyte water and withheld a 15 yuan deposit. When we called to inquire, they quickly processed the refund for the 15 yuan, so their problem-solving efficiency was excellent. But it's still quite strange where that drink went. This minor incident didn't affect the overall experience; the hotel is still very good.

The room was spacious and filled with natural light, boasting a simple yet elegant decor that created a truly inviting atmosphere. The cleanliness was impeccable; every surface, from the floors to the tabletops and corners, was spotless. The bedding was pristine white, soft, fluffy, and skin-friendly, and the mattress was just the right firmness, allowing for a deep, restful sleep that completely erased my travel fatigue. The bathroom had a great dry-wet separation, was fresh and odor-free, and the toiletries were complete and of good quality. All the appliances in the room worked perfectly, hot water supply was ample, and the WiFi speed was excellent, making both work and streaming a breeze. Housekeeping staff cleaned daily at scheduled times and replenished consumables as needed, showing great attention to detail. This stay far exceeded my expectations, definitely a five-star review! The hotel's location is superb, close to shopping areas and public transport, making it incredibly convenient for getting around and finding food. It perfectly balances easy access with a quiet living environment. The front desk staff, particularly Shangguan, was incredibly warm and attentive. Check-in and check-out were efficient and quick, and she was patient and thorough throughout, proactively providing tips on using facilities and exploring the area. She even promptly responded to my request to heat up my own food.

Five-star review! This stay was particularly heartwarming, and I especially want to commend Beibei at the front desk. Beibei checked us in on our first night in Beijing. She was warm and welcoming, and spoke so gently. Seeing that we had a child with us, she thoughtfully gave us a small electric fan, which was incredibly considerate given the hot Beijing weather. During our stay, she even proactively contacted us via WeChat, letting us know we could reach out to her anytime if we needed anything. On our departure day, we were delayed at the Summer Palace, and Beibei went above and beyond to help us get a late check-out, solving a real problem for us. Meeting such a kind and attentive staff member during our trip truly warmed our hearts. Beijing is a city worth visiting again and again, and next time we're here, we'll definitely choose Joy City Hotel again, and I hope we get to see Beibei! Highly recommended!

The Universal Studios Grand Hotel

Traveling with a child, I opted for the Universal Studios Grand Hotel for convenience. The hotel's first floor offers a private entrance to Universal Studios for guests, saving us from long queues, and we also had the perk of early park entry one hour before opening. We, unfortunately, overslept and missed out on this benefit, which was a bit of a shame! We arrived at the hotel around 1 PM, and were told our room wasn't ready. We were offered an immediate upgrade to a Minions-themed room by adding money or purchasing breakfast and dinner. (Looking back, I wonder if this was a bit intentional? But it was hot, and I thought the child was tired, so we went ahead and bought breakfast and dinner, and upgraded.) Aside from suites, all rooms are about the same size, around 30 square meters, differing only in decor and location. Some offer park views (more expensive), while others overlook Universal Boulevard. Our upgraded Minions room had a view of Universal Boulevard and the bustling queues below. The two 1.5-meter double beds were quite a plus! Honestly, dinner was quite mediocre. We arrived past 7 PM, and there were only about 15+ people. The food was pretty average, except for the barbecue (which was amazing!) – we mostly ate the freshly grilled barbecue. At over 300 per person, you could eat much better outside, but it was an experience. Breakfast was better than dinner (just my personal opinion) and included interactive elements that the child really enjoyed. The Red Dragon Lounge in the lobby has a nice atmosphere, with a retro Hollywood style. I took my child to experience the bar's ambiance in the evening, and the non-alcoholic drinks were excellent! If I go again, I'd like to try the NUO Hotel; I hear it's quite good too.

The hotel assigned us a butler, and the service was excellent. The breakfast buffet was incredibly rich and varied. At Tuotuo Bay, you can catch fish in a jar – it would be even better if you could grill them right after catching! The hotel organized a wide array of activities. For example, the 'Bug Patrol' activity took us into Air-Raid Shelter No. 67 to catch insects. They also prepared a very engaging presentation (PPT) for us. Before making butterfly specimens, they seized the opportunity to impart a lot of insect knowledge to the children. [Complimentary Hot Spring Ticket] Jingzhihu Hot Spring Center Single Ticket: The hot spring offers free Hami melons, cherry tomatoes, and oranges. Swimsuits are a bit expensive, so remember to bring your own or order delivery.

The hotel is in an excellent location, right in the heart of Wangjing, with easy access to everything. I arrived quite late, but the front desk staff kindly upgraded my room. The room was clean, tidy, and spacious, with impeccable hygiene. The soundproofing was also great; I could barely hear any noise from the hallway or neighboring rooms. Considering the price, location, and brand, this hotel offers incredible value for money. I highly recommend staying here. The breakfast had a good variety of freshly cooked dishes, which was a real plus for a warm meal.

The Xishan Hot Spring Hotel, touted as a 'land cruise,' certainly lives up to its name. We booked a family-themed package that included daily hot spring passes for 2 adults and 1 child, breakfast, one full buffet meal, and late-night snacks. The hot springs are very distinctive, especially the fish therapy and ******* medicine pools. They even provide face masks and hot compresses. The food selection is incredibly rich, with a seafood theme, and the cold drinks feature Häagen-Dazs. The second and fifth floors offer numerous family-friendly activities like go-karts, bowling, billiards, hopscotch, and a petting zoo – you'd need more than a day to try everything. The hot springs also offer overnight packages, with a variety of spacious and uniquely designed pods on the second floor and B1, offering excellent value for money. The biggest surprise this time was the 'pet companionship' service in the room. We were lucky enough to meet the adorable Ragdoll cat, Qiuqiu, who spent an unforgettable hour with our children. Overall, this is a fantastic hotel, and we'll definitely return if we get the chance!

The hotel's location is excellent, with very convenient access to public transport and the subway. Most importantly, right outside the hotel is Tianqiao Roast Duck (the branch near the General Administration of Sport, where even athletes and celebrities queue to eat). A 500-meter walk takes you to Ya'er Li Ji for breakfast with their tofu pudding and beef buns, then braised pork noodles for lunch, and mutton spine hotpot for dinner... there are countless delicious food options, though I only have one stomach! The room service was great; the cleaning staff were very thorough and meticulously cleaned, also thoughtfully replenishing our bottled water daily. Overall, it was a very comfortable and satisfying stay with a fantastic experience. Plus, you might even bump into some athletes! 😯

Apart from the renovation which we were told beforehand, the room we had was dark (probably because it was a windowless room), humid, aircon wasn’t strong but they provided a fan. Could smell urine even with the toilet seat covered, toilet door was closed, to a point that i was awaken by the foul smell. Had to spray perfume to have it barely covered. Ventilation was super bad. Cons aside, service was good, fridge in room had free drinks. Would recommend to book a window room if you had to even though friend that stayed in the window room said it was bad too. There’s a mall few minutes walk away which was a plus. Good view on the reception floor too.

Qiqiaowu Hotel (Beijing Daxing Airport Line Caoqiao Subway Station Branch)

Overall, I had a fantastic experience. The hotel is right next to Caoqiao Subway Station, making it incredibly convenient to transfer to Line 10 and the Daxing Airport Express. This was a huge plus for catching flights and exploring the city's attractions. There are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby, so dining and shopping were a breeze. The room was spotlessly clean and bright. The bathroom and table corners were free of any stains. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a quiet night's rest. The air conditioning, toiletries, and high-speed Wi-Fi were all readily available and well-maintained. The front desk staff were on duty 24/7, and check-in/check-out was quick and efficient. They were patient and responsive to any requests, and free luggage storage was a nice bonus. For its price point in Beijing, the hotel offers outstanding value for money, whether you're traveling for business or leisure. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Beijing.
