The hotel is in a prime location, and you can explore the historical features of Qianmen on foot. The quiet atmosphere in the bustling city is worthy of praise. Next time I come to Beijing, I will still choose here.

The water temperature in the afternoon is not as hot as in the evening. It is recommended to take a milk bath at night, and it is very sweet to fall asleep. The hotel will provide free welcome fruit, and the first round of mini-bar is also free. On the day of check-in, I tasted the hotel's hot pot meal for two. You can use the group purchase of Dianping. Two people are full. There are three bottles of beer in the set meal, which can also be replaced with carbonated drinks. The next day's breakfast, pancakes and wontons were good, and the hotel also made them by itself, not pre-prepared dishes. There was only one kind of fruit, and no yogurt (you can bring your own if you need it. There is a Guiyuan milk station 20 minutes away from the hotel. The milk and yogurt are good. You can buy them on the way, but they are a little expensive). The overall hotel experience is good. The night in Yanqing is full of stars that can be seen with the naked eye. Stargazing enthusiasts can bring their own equipment.

This property is located about 2hrs out of Beijing. 30mins drive to ba da Ling Great Wall. 延庆市 20mins away. We chose this hotel for our last leg of itineraries. Absolutely love this property. Clean cut architecture located in quiet surrounding. The house keeper (小陈 & 小郑） was super friendly and helpful. Afternoon tea and Hot milk (before bed) was served daily. Hearty breakfast was good as well. We enjoyed private hot spring at our own private yard. There are few wetlands which you can visit located near the property. Would love to go back again.

This proactive communication made us feel welcomed and well-prepared for our stay. The homestay itself is just as beautiful as the pictures on their website. When we entered our room, we were immediately impressed by how cozy it felt. The temperature was perfectly set, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere, and the room smelled clean and fresh, which was a lovely touch. One of the highlights of our stay was the hot spring water—soothing and warm, which was exactly what we needed given the unexpected snowy weather. In the evening, they kindly offered us hot milk or soup to help us unwind, and in the morning, a delicious Western breakfast with fresh orange juice was delivered right to our door. It was such a thoughtful and special touch. An added bonus was the stunning view from the courtyard, where we could see the Great Wall! The homestay is within walking distance of a less crowded area of the Great Wall, where we paid just 35 RMB per person to experience it. It was beautiful and peaceful, offering the perfect opportunity to truly admire the historic site without the usual crowds. The location itself is perfect for a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The air is fresh, and at night, the stars are visible, adding to the tranquility of the area. It’s incredibly quiet, making it the ideal place to relax and recharge. Overall, I had an amazing experience at Zhaohua Homestay, and I would definitely visit again. During the Qingming Festival, my friend came to Xiaoxi, which I had liked for a long time. He stayed in Courtyard 2 and checked in smoothly. The air in the mountains is super good in this season. I ordered food in the evening and it tasted good. The next day, I went to the Water Great Wall, which was about ten minutes away by car. It was a good experience and I will come again.
