Best Xi'an Hotels

"We had a wonderful time at the Old Locust Homestay. You can tell the owner really cares about his guests. During our stay there was some work being done in the road out front and the owner made sure to help us with our bags coming in and when we left and also offered a complementary room upgrade along with complementary imported coffee and gave us some local treats as a condolence for the issue. He always went out of his way to make sure we had a great experience. The hotel is newly renovated, very stylist and has great views from the third and fourth floors. We would definitely come back if we are ever in Xi’an again."

"The location is excellent: within walking distance of the metro station and the ancient wall, the Bell Tower can be reached on foot too if you don’t mind a little stretch. The owner is super responsive via text. Price is honestly too cheap for this location. Room is clean, spacious and comfy. Multiple convenience stores just off the elevator on ground level. The only downside is that the apartment is a little hard to find. We called the owner and he came down to take us to the room. I would recommend arriving during daytime hours for this reason. Owner is super helpful. Will definitely stay again next time I visit Xi’an."

"I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location is excellent—just right outside Zhonglou Metro Station, making it super convenient to get around Xi’an. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, providing plenty of room to relax. The service was great, with friendly and attentive staff. They also offer a complimentary breakfast, which was a nice bonus. One of the highlights is the view of the Bell Tower, which you can see immediately after stepping out of the hotel. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel if you’re visiting Xi’an!"

"Love the location of this hotel. Just one step away is the SkyTrain station It makes easy access to other attractions . Walk across is the Bell tower and shopping mall. Some rooms can even see the Bell Tower from the window. I have requested a room with a view of the Tower, but they upgraded me to a room with a balcony. Which is a bit disappointed but still ok I have a balcony. The hotel is beautiful and clean. At least I didn't smell the cigarettes. The receptionist is very helpful, a lady from the travel agency is always there to answer the tourists about Xian attractions. The water bottle is free and they put it right by the elevator on each floor. The breakfast is ok and the restaurant is big. I highly recommend this hotel. I really like the location and all the declarations of the hotel. If I come back to Xian, I will definitely stay in this hotel again."

"The hotel is located in the city center, with convenient transportation. It is close to scenic spots and popular check-in spots such as the Bell Tower, the City Wall, and Muslim Street. At night, you can see the nighlt view of the Bell Tower in just a few minutes by walking downstairs. The hotel is equipped with robots. There is a dedicated rest area in the hotel lobby. It is very convenient to rest in the lobby after a day out. The room is fully equipped with a gym and a laundry room with washing and drying in one step. The room bedding is also very comfortable. The service of the front desk guy Mumu and the lady Mia is very good. The check-in is proactive. The people are very friendly."

"I didn’t experience any issues during my stay. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and provided excellent service. A welcome drink is offered when checking in. The location is about a 17-minute walk from the metro station, but it’s in a very quiet and peaceful area. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well soundproofed, and daily cleaning is done very thoroughly. The lobby is cozy and calm, and they serve hand-brewed tea. Breakfast is offered and is quite good, with options you can choose yourself. Overall, I highly recommend this place."

"Must give this place a huge thumbs-up! The hotel's location is absolutely superb. It's just a few minutes' walk from Dachaishi Subway Station Exit C, and you can easily stroll to the foot of the city wall, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. The Xi'an Incident Memorial Hall is also only a short walk away. Even though the hotel is tucked away in an alley, there are tons of local snack options right nearby, and they're all very affordable. The lobby provides helpful travel recommendation cards with detailed route guides. The rooms are spotless and well-maintained. The front desk staff, especially the young lady, are wonderful and provide incredibly attentive service. Even the housekeeping aunties greet you with a friendly smile. There were quite a few international guests staying here – lots of attractive people, it almost felt like a hub for foreigners in Xi'an, haha! Definitely a nice sight. Luggage storage is available at the front desk after check-out, which is super convenient. They offer complimentary bottled water in the lobby, and even gave us some small snacks when we checked out! This was genuinely the best hotel experience; the atmosphere is fantastic and really makes you feel comfortable. Seriously, I can't recommend this hotel enough! Trust me on this one! 🔥🔥🔥"

"The service at this hotel was truly exceptional. My young nephew even remarked that he hasn't experienced this level of service even at five-star hotels. Our family particularly loved the Roujiamo (Chinese hamburger) for breakfast; we honestly thought they tasted better than many 'authentic' ones you find outside. We also enjoyed the drinks in the lobby and made it a point to grab one every time before heading out. We tried the late-night snacks once, and they were quite good. The airport pick-up service was fantastic too; the driver was very proactive and helped us with our luggage right away."

"The place was really clean and nice. It had a really nice air conditioning unit with very comfortable beds. It was very quiet at night with a great location inside the walls. The service was really friendly and the cleaning lady even helped us put our clothes in a bag after laundry when we were out. My only complaint is that the swing is really loud and a little boy would always swing at 9:00AM."

"Love the hotel location in Xian city. Easy access to Muslim street for all the halal food. Abt 10 mins walk. Other location like Xian Wall also within reach. One thing to take note if you are a light sleeper it may be a disadvantage to you as same building there a disco night club playing music. The sound bass vibration may reach you depending on the level of yr room. I don't want to say it affect all cos I didn't move to other rooms. The lady who help arrange attractions visit or taxi very helpful. Can use Alipay for payment and cash at some stall (plse ask)"
