Best Wuhan Hotels

"There are so many great things to say, but let's start with the location – it's absolutely fantastic! A true oasis of calm amidst the city's hustle and bustle. You're just a 5-minute walk from Hanjiang Road Pedestrian Street, Shuita Snack Street, and Baocheng Road Night Market. Plus, grab a shared bike, and you can reach Shanhaiguan Road for some local breakfast in about ten minutes. Even if you're exhausted, the hotel's breakfast is incredibly rich and varied, offering excellent value for money. The lobby also provides thoughtful refreshment kits, with sweet and refreshing lemon water. You can also pick up bottled water anytime you pass the elevator area. These small gestures and details really warmed our hearts, especially after a long day of travel. What's more, the service is wonderfully friendly and discreet. The staff are always available but never intrusive. I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Wuhan. Nice!"

"I booked last minute and it's my second stay here. I chose it because of the location, staff, and room. It's conveniently located in front of a bus stop and a 10 min walk to Zhuyeshan metro station. There's a little convenience store on the first floor to get snacks and drinks. There are food and fruit markets in an alley around the corner. There's a pedestrian bridge so I don't have to cross the road. There's bubble tea, Starbucks, luckin coffee and burger king across the street as well. The staff are always busy but always willing to help. I used a translator app mostly to communicate and they were very patient and helpful. The housekeeping staff /aunties are great and will smile if you smile and be friendly first. The morning breakfast is on the heavy side for me but full of variety and delicious. If you're able to, reserve the room with the breakfast included, I found the value was excellent. I especially liked the lady who prepares the noodle soups. I stayed in a larger queen deluxe room this time and thought it was great! I had a better view of the gas station across the street. The regular room was awesome too. I didn't hear street noise but there were times in the evening when I could hear other guest's noise. It didn't bother me, and I suppose it depends on who comes and enjoys the hotel. Another amazing part of the hotel is it offers free laundry and there are dryers. I think they offer a free laundry service too but I didn't mind doing my own. Overall, a very pleasant experience and I would come again to stay. Wuhan was an amazing experience and this hotel was part of it. Xièxiè."

"The service was excellent; they were very responsive to all requests and had a great attitude. Food deliveries could even be brought up to the room. The location is quite convenient, just a short walk from Exit A1 of Qushuilou subway station. The high-floor experience was great, and the elevators were fast, so there wasn't much waiting. However, you do need to take two elevators to reach your room. The environment was also very clean, and the smart-controlled furniture and facilities were very convenient. I do have a few suggestions for facility improvements: it would be great to add another chair by the window, as having only one is quite inconvenient. While the bathroom sink area is well-separated from the shower, the shower itself lacks hooks or any other place to put clothes. This meant I had to leave the door open while showering, which largely defeated the purpose of the wet/dry separation. I've already recommended this place to friends, and I'll definitely consider it first on my next trip to Wuhan. I hope they continue to maintain their standards and even improve further!"

"This hotel is located above X118, the anime and manga hub of Central China. Downstairs is Jianghan Road Pedestrian Street, making shopping super convenient. Plus, the nightlife here is vibrant, and the Line 2 subway station is right downstairs. Line 1 is just a few hundred meters away, and you can even walk to Wuguang."

"This hotel has excellent service. They provided everything they needed, from small rubber bands to small clips. The crystal chandelier was incredibly beautiful. It's also close to the subway station, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. We were picked up at the airport and it only took 15 minutes to get there. The driver even helped carry our luggage."

"Located on the 52nd floor, my room offered stunning full river views from its floor-to-ceiling windows. It was exceptionally quiet and peaceful, which was perfect for a light sleeper like me. The bedding was incredibly comfortable; the thick mattress had the perfect balance of firmness and softness, contouring wonderfully to my body. There were also two types of pillows to choose from, and the duvet, though not thick, was wonderfully light, soft, and breathable. Complimentary breakfast was provided, and the river-view restaurant was absolutely fantastic! The breakfast spread included Wuhan's delicious Re Gan Mian (hot dry noodles), and the variety of both Chinese and Western dishes was extensive. They even thoughtfully provided takeaway coffee cups, which was a nice touch. I highly recommend this place! To all my fellow travelers visiting Wuhan, you absolutely have to check this hotel out!"

"Shangri-La is always my top choice when traveling. Even though the facilities and decor at the Wuhan branch are a bit dated, a five-star hotel truly shines in its service and quality. The lobby manager provided excellent service, very patient, and even treated me to a local Wuhan specialty, spare rib and lotus root soup, during my stay. Also, the hotel breakfast, as always, was very rich and varied. The hotel's location is also superb; the subway is right outside, making it convenient to go anywhere. It's also a short taxi ride to Li Huangpi Road and the Hanjiang River Beach. I would definitely choose Shangri-La again on my next visit to Wuhan."

"The front desk staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, providing a very comfortable experience for guests. A special shout-out goes to the staff member working the night shift on June 27th. Her service was absolutely five-star; she thought of every single detail for the guests and had an exceptionally good attitude. She meticulously reviewed my notes and promptly assisted me when I requested a room change after detecting a slight smoke odor in the initial room. In the evening, she even delivered preserved egg and lean pork congee along with some snacks. Beyond the service, the hotel's decor is fantastic, and the room environment itself was excellent. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay."

"A very satisfying stay. You should still book an old star hotel, which has all the services you should have and new styles. The specific feelings are: 1. The environment is awesome, living in the park, there are birds, fish, cats and white rabbits. 2. The window balcony looks out to the lake, which is worth it. 3. Although the equipment and facilities are not new, they are very well maintained, clean and tidy without odor, and there is no dust layer in the corners. 4. The long-lost evening light-on bed-making service, now the new hotel has long gone, and it has to be an old star hotel. 5. The old hotel also has new styles, the butler service makes people feel intimate, and the fruit sent is heartwarming. 6. The hotel restaurant buffet breakfast and à la carte dinner are good. 7. Visiting Chairman Mao’s former residence adds value to the stay, and I learned a lot of little-known stories of great men. The explanation of the guide is vivid and vivid. Finally, I decided to stay at the ”Donghu Hotel” when I go to Wuhan in the future. Finally, a few small suggestions: the water for showering is a bit small and the drainage is a bit slow."
