We were surprised by how small the room was. Also the chiller in the room does not have its own electrical source and so it dies whenever the room key card is pulled out from the slot.

The moment I opened the door to my room, I was met with an unpleasant odor, it is similar to a clogged drain, which made the first impression quite poor. The drainage issue continued in the shower room, where the floor seemed to stay flooded due to an obviously clogged drain. It made using the shower uncomfortable and inconvenient. To add to the discomfort, the pillow had a strange, musty smell, which made it difficult to get a good night’s rest.

The room is small but it is very clean. The front desk was very nice n helpful. About 5 to 10 minutes walk to most eatery and place to buy local products to bring home. The hotel is very new as just built in 2024. Restaurant not in operation yet. But the pool is nice and its sheltered although it is outdoor.

We’ve been staying here for 3 nights, overall was good but the room 402 delux family room which we stayed, the toilet got very bad smell especially when morning and evening time. 🤢🤢🤢

Very nice and modern with all great amenities and service. There’s also a very cool parking system!

Had a great stay at Landison Hotel Penang. Lovely if there is a surprise birthday celebration for my mum.

Stayed for a night. It was clean but the building was not entirely soundproof (when you have pax staying next to you, their noise, door closing can be heard, even you could hear footsteps from the above floor). Halfway through the night (2am) lights and aircond went off and the staff (foreigner) came in to check and was very apologetic which i dont think its his fault. Decided to speak to the front desk to ask for the next solution, initially was told the rooms were all fully booked, so they cant spare another room. After 30mins, they said they can offer an upgrade to a bigger room.

Modern and new hotel. Individual air cond. No closet, safe space. Indoor swimming pool. Great location. Comfortable bed and memory pillow

A brand new open hotel in Penang with clean environment in a convenient spot with technology equipment. Recommended

We enjoyed our stay—great location that’s perfect for couples. It’s within walking distance to plenty of local food stalls, which made exploring the area really convenient. The hotel is new, so some facilities weren’t ready yet, but the staff were friendly and the room was comfortable. Looking forward to seeing it fully up and running on our next visit.

Enjoyed my awesome stay in LANDISON HOTEL very much! This hotel has been the best experience of my Penang’s trip so far! I personally LOVE the cozy and clean room very much and the rainshower + high qualities of Towels are such a luxurious touch! I am very impressed with the room amenities that they provided to me (example : coffee machine, alarm clock, in-room slippers, several power socket available, digital weigh machine, tea/coffee maker, minibar etc). Also, the service of the staff is incredibly great, friendly and always willing to assist. Additionally, Landison Hotel Penang is ideally positioned at the center of George Twon, very convenient to visit shopping malls, wall street arts area or historical buildings. Surrounded by many eateries too! If anyone would like to seek for hospital treatment from doctors, Loh Guan Lye Hospital just 03 minutes walking distance from the Hotel. From Landison Hotel Penang, just only 06 mins by car to Gleneagles Hospital Penang and 10mins driving to Adventist Hospital. Few big chain’s pharmacy also available opposite/ next to the hotel. Public transport also very convenient, bus stop just at the opposite side (02 mins walk) and Grab car also very easy to reserve. Having time stay in Landison Hotel Penang should be one of my best memories in Penang, can't wait to visit again on my next vacation!

Room a bit small but expected in central location. Overall was OK.

The room too small, the toilet bidet quite unique but difficult to use.. so teribble, the toilet at 1st floor only 2 , i think that’s not enough for guest.. the 1st floor toilet so bad smell, but no one clean.. durian smell.. OMG… The security 2 person but cannot explain where the concierge is when we asked them if we could leave our bags here they just said just put there and didnt care about our luggage we had to ask customer service on where to put our luggages just to find out it was at the second floor, the hotel not disabled friendly… So I think must think carefully if we go with parents or baby..

The room is quite small, beds are very comfortable. Chairs are provided but not sure if everyone likes them, maybe there's a better type of room that is better amenities, eg a table with chair. A little coffee corner can get yourself a machine made espresso. TV set is huge, and ready with YouTube, Qiyi.. etc.
