Outstanding
TTiancaixiaoxiaoThis hotel is a bit old, and in Macau, where there's a big disparity between hotels, you have a lot of choices. However, this one is pretty good. We took a ferry from the Hong Kong-Macau Ferry Terminal to Macau, then a shuttle from Grand Lisboa to near the hotel, and it was just a short walk. Next door is New Yaohan, which is great for shopping, and there are also places to eat upstairs. It's quite close to the Ruins of St. Paul's on foot, and you can catch a bus downstairs to Taipa. All in all, it's excellent value for money.
GGuest UserWe enjoyed our stay here. The location was good, the room and the bathroom was perfect. I enjoyed the soaking bath. Although we were assigned the joining room, probably due to Chinese New Year holiday, must be so busy, it did not bother us. The view from the balcony was good, we had a very good stay.
We also had breakfast at the rooftop, it was nicely presented, the food was replenished frequently. We would definitely consider to stay again.
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is very close to Fisherman's Wharf, and about a 15-minute walk from the Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal. There's a lively local atmosphere nearby. For places like The Venetian, you can take the free shuttle bus from Sands Macao, which is just across the road. Overall, it's quite convenient.
JJiguang jiguangLocation: Great location! The bus stops are very convenient, with one 150 meters to the right of the hotel exit and another behind the hotel. It's only a 400-meter walk to the Grand Lisboa Hotel, and there are bus stops right outside with routes to all parts of Macau.
Service: Service was decent; requests were handled promptly. However, the hotel's Wealthy Seafood Restaurant was disappointing. Many dishes we ordered were either unavailable or they just didn't want to make them, primarily because they didn't want to offer the guest discount. The deposit could be paid via Alipay and was refunded within 30 minutes of check-out. The hotel also provides a shuttle service to the Border Gate, which was very punctual. You just need to book in advance.
The hotel has just been renovated, so it's very clean, and the bedding is neat and comfortable. We had a great sleep and it was relatively quiet! Exceeded expectations.
We stayed on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, so the price was a bit higher. If you're staying on a weekday, it offers incredible value for money, easily beating other similar hotels in price.
WWangchengcheng189The environment is beautiful. You can watch the sunset from your room or at Cheoc Van Beach, which is right next to the hotel, in the evening. In the morning, you can walk about 30 minutes to Long Chao Kok Coastal Trail near Hac Sa Beach to watch the sunrise from the Seaview Pavilion.
The complimentary breakfast offers a variety of Chinese and Western dishes. Every food item maintains excellent quality, and the dining area has a charming view.
The hotel is older, and the facilities are a bit dated, but they are well-maintained and perfectly functional for daily use. Plus, there was absolutely no smoke smell in the room, which is a big plus. :)
Overall, while the facilities might be a slight drawback, the environment and food more than make up for it. Because of this, I'm giving a perfect score for facilities.
AAnonymous UserGreat stay at Grandview Hotel! The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable, with everything needed for a relaxing stay. The location was convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions and transport. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall experience felt smooth and hassle-free.
A solid choice for both short trips and longer stays.🥰
DDashu shaoAmenities: All daily necessities, including slippers and toothbrushes, are readily available, making for a comfortable short stay. Hygiene: The lobby, rooms, and all other areas are very clean and odor-free. Environment: The hotel is right next to the airport terminal, offering incredibly convenient transportation options such as the Macau Light Rail, buses, and high-speed ferries to Hong Kong. The soundproofing in the rooms is excellent, making for a very quiet night's sleep. Service: Staff in the lobby, at the front desk, and in guest rooms are all polite and genuinely welcoming.
AAnonymous UserThis time, I made a last-minute booking at Holiday Inn Macau. During check-in, Mr. Wang at the front desk was professional and efficient. After understanding my situation, he proactively upgraded me to an executive floor suite. He wasn't overtly enthusiastic, but his attention to detail made me feel genuinely valued.
It happened to be the fourth day of the ***** New Year, and in the morning, the hotel had a lion dance and a 'God of Wealth' performance. The atmosphere was lively but not chaotic – a nice, ceremonial touch. The executive floor was relatively quiet, making for a comfortable and relaxing stay overall.
What truly left an impression on me was what happened afterward. After checking out, I realized I had left my ring in the room, which naturally made me anxious. Upon contacting the hotel, the housekeeping manager quickly helped confirm its location and retrieve it. The entire communication process was efficient, and the sense of reassurance brought by such professionalism was more important than any physical amenity.
DDaweidezhangHHThe hotel is conveniently located directly opposite the Galaxy Macau, and it's just a 400-meter walk from the light rail station. It's surrounded by other major resorts like The Londoner, The Parisian, and The Venetian, making it super accessible. There are also plenty of direct buses to the Ruins of St. Paul's.
The hotel breakfast was good, and the sea view from our room was beautiful, quiet, and comfortable. Even though it's an older hotel, it was quite dangerous. The suite we booked was perfect for our family of three.
SSukitingtingIf you're looking for a luxury experience or brand-new facilities, you might be disappointed. However, as a convenient and high-value base, especially for tourists planning to frequently explore, the Presidential Hotel remains a practical choice. It's recommended to prioritize high-floor, non-smoking rooms to avoid noise and unpleasant odors.
