Macau Hotels with Bars

I chose this hotel because of Zaha's design, and I was truly amazed by the futuristic setting. All the furniture and amenities in the room were very high-quality, and the perfume, hand cream, and toiletries had a fresh and pleasant scent. Interestingly, there was a picture book in the room that detailed the architectural design and construction process. When ordering room service, a dining table is brought in, and the service is excellent and responsive. The breakfast environment and taste are also fantastic – highly recommended. The only minor downside was that the bathtub wasn't clean; it felt gritty to the touch. Overall, I really loved this hotel and it's definitely worth staying at when in Macau. If I have the chance (and money) in the future, I'll come again and also try the Michelin-starred restaurant on the third floor.

I've always wanted to stay at Hotel Okura, but it's so hard to get a reservation. I finally managed to book a two-night, three-day stay last week, and I was so impressed by the meticulous and thoughtful service. I have to give it a big thumbs up: 1. Before checking in, I emailed the hotel to let them know it was my husband's birthday in June and asked for some birthday decorations. They replied quickly, and to my surprise, they even sent a delicious matcha cake! [Strong] 2. The hotel lobby is open and airy with a simple, understated design. The bamboo garden courtyard is serene and luxurious, creating a wonderful ambiance. The front desk staff are all attractive and friendly. When we checked in, Johnny thoughtfully extended our check-out time to 1 PM. When we checked out, Alsen proactively asked about our stay and even gave us a hotel fridge magnet. The service from both gentlemen was truly exceptional. 3. The guest room layout is well-designed, comfortable, and practical. The Japanese design details are perfectly executed. The tea set is very practical, and there were also candies and fruit, with complimentary beverages. The housekeeping staff did a fantastic job cleaning and thoughtfully organized all my jewelry and cosmetics. It's been years since I've seen such a comprehensive turndown service – water, slippers, and a bathmat were all meticulously placed, and they even provided a sleep spray and paper cranes. Coming back to a tidy room every day after enjoying the Grand Resort Deck was incredibly comforting. 4. I've already decided to bring my mom to Hotel Okura next time, and I hope it will be easier to book then. I do wish the trash can in the bathroom was a bit bigger. All in all, my stay at Hotel Okura was very pleasant and excellent.

Excellent stay, highly recommended! Our three-day experience at the Altira Hotel was truly exceptional! From the service to the room facilities, everything was very satisfying. Especially the bathtub in the room – it was spacious and comfortable, with a beautiful sea view that we absolutely loved! Next time we visit Macau, we will definitely choose to stay here again. It was a great experience for my family specially with my daughter! She loved the grand resort deck so much! Room in Andaz was amazing clean and staffs are very hospitable most Specially Rea at the reception. She was incredibly professional and efficient and spend time to introduce every places we could enjoy during our stay! Thanks to her we had a lot of fun! Ben also was amazing and helpful with our luggage.

In today's landscape of luxurious hotels, St. Regis continues to stand out with its impeccable service. The genuine warmth and friendliness of the front desk staff set a tone of honored hospitality for this trip. After check-in, a staff member named Chris personally escorted us to our room and meticulously introduced us to all the facilities. During our conversation, he gently mentioned the brand's proud signature butler service – a reassuring feeling of being on-call yet never intrusive. Although we only stayed for one night and were in a hurry, we couldn't fully experience the charm of the butler service. However, this meticulous hospitality was enough to give us a glimpse into St. Regis's ultimate pursuit of professionalism and craftsmanship. What was particularly captivating was the extended breakfast period, stretching from 7 AM until 1 PM. This thoughtful gesture is undoubtedly a romantic gift for late risers. There's no need to rush; you can leisurely enjoy it as a lavish brunch in a quiet, elegant, and peaceful environment, accompanied by the morning light and grace, starting the new day with sophistication.

Margarida rendered good service to us during our stay in the hotel. She was patient and shown us how to take the public transport to get around the place. Other staffs worth mentioning are Serlene , Delia and rainbow. They made our stay a much enjoyable and good stay in the hotel.

This is a relatively new hotel in Macau with excellent and modern facilities. However, the location is a bit out of the way. It's about a ten-minute walk to the Light Rail station, and the MT4 bus to the old town stops right in front of the hotel. For trips to the airport, I'd recommend taking a taxi. Pros: The service was great, and the room facilities and decor were very nice. The desk had a standard Chinese power outlet, and the bedside outlets even came with international adapters. All the bath products were L'Occitane. However, even in this room, I couldn't escape the typical southern humidity. The pleasant scent of the L'Occitane toiletries couldn't quite mask the damp smell. So, I'd advise setting your expectations accordingly; L'Occitane products won't solve the issue of a musty odor in the room.

The hotel is nestled by mountains and the sea, offering stunning views 👍. Getting to Macau from Hong Kong via the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge is very convenient. Sitting on the 'Golden Bus' (shuttle bus) and admiring the spectacular bridge and endless ocean is truly a delight. On this trip across the sea, I was lucky enough to spot some dolphins. These sea sprites were incredibly cute, but unfortunately, my hands weren't fast enough to capture them flipping around, so I missed the chance to photograph them. All I can do is wish these sprites a long and happy life 🙏.

The hotel is within walking distance of the Macau Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal, which takes around 15–20 minutes even with luggage. There’s also a nearby public bus stop that provides convenient access to the Cotai area. The housekeeping staff were friendly as well. Overall, the stay was good, although the design feels a bit old-school. The in-house casino has also ceased operations since November 2025.

I was initially given a weirdly shaped corner room. After requesting a change, I was moved to a noisy connecting room. My second room change landed me in an Executive Floor room with severe mold and elevator noise... I finally had enough and complained to Ctrip. They moved me to a top-floor suite. You could tell it was renovated at the same time as the other rooms, but it was incredibly well-maintained, with absolutely no mold or strange smells. It was a world of difference from the previous rooms.
