Facilities: The facilities are comprehensive, with a fridge, smart toilet, smart speaker, and electric curtains in the room. The hotel also has a laundry room and a gym. However, there's only one elevator, so expect a wait during peak hours. The room has a balcony, but the soundproofing could be improved. Hygiene: Up to standard, no obvious flaws, but there's room for improvement. Environment: Located on a corner at a crossroads, with supermarkets and restaurants nearby. The subway station is right downstairs, and Changying Tianjie shopping mall is just across the street. Very convenient. However, the window faces an office building, which is quite close. Service: Excellent. Quick response and a great attitude. They even upgraded my room proactively. The breakfast was also very good, with a wide variety of options.

Room was spacious and clean. Great shower pressure and consistent water temperature. Soundproofing needs improvement as hallway noises e.g. door banging and rumbling/rattling of housekeeping cart were loud and clear especially in the early morning so best to prepare ear plugs for light sleepers. Toilet sometimes have strong cigarette smell but we are not sure whether the smell came from the ceiling vent, the floor drain or around the base of the toilet. Turning on the exhaust doesn't seem to work. Luckily the smell only seemed to contain within the toilet and both bedroom and shower area were spared. Metro is just right next to the hotel which is super convenient. Hotel staff was extremely kind, helpful and considerate. Checkout extension to 2pm was kindly provided to us which was very much appreciated.

The hotel service was excellent. They contacted us in advance before check-in and sent us the location. The staff even came into the alley to pick us up. It was August and scorching hot, so it was a relief to get inside. My mom and I tried on the qipao dresses provided by the hotel, which we could take to our room to change into and then take photos around the hotel. Everything in the room was complimentary. The air conditioning was very strong. The hotel is very close to Qianmen Street, about a 5-10 minute walk. The front desk recommended a few good places to eat, and the Zhajiangmian (fried sauce noodles) was absolutely delicious – a must-try! The alley is a bit narrow, and there's some renovation going on around the hotel, but it didn't affect our sleep at all.

This is already my third stay here. The hotel is located just a short distance from Exit A of the Sanyuanqiao Subway Station—turn right and back slightly—right next to the Phoenix Galleria, making dining, accommodation, and shopping extremely convenient. The room is compact and cozy. The bed is super comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. Moreover, the hot water for the shower is more reliable than in many five-star hotels, which really helps wash away fatigue. Breakfast is served from 7:00 to 10:00, and a late-night snack is available from 21:00 to 22:09. You can really tell the owner puts a lot of heart into running this place. I'll definitely stay here again on my next business trip.

A friend who was accompanying my daughter to take an exam recommended this hotel to me. I felt very comfortable when I opened the door. I booked an executive double room. The room was large and clean. Both the front desk and the cleaning lady were very enthusiastic and helpful. There was unlimited drinking water in the room. The service was very thoughtful. Next time I have the chance to come to Beijing, this will be my first choice!

Every day, they prepared a foot bath bucket with hot water, mugwort packets, and towels – this service completely won me over! The family suite is perfect for families with multiple kids, and the price is incredibly reasonable. Room service and the lobby staff were excellent. The Jinxiu Museum was a unique touch. Breakfast quality was average, but the chicken noodle soup was delicious. I'm not sure why the mini-fridge in the bar area only ”preserves” items; I felt like the yogurt would go bad in there. Also, the hotel strictly prohibits smoking, but there were too many guests smoking. Every day, the hallway outside our room smelled of smoke, which was a real shame.

Overall, a pleasant stay. The room was clean and comfortable, although a little small. The toilet did not have an automatic flushing feature. The hotel is conveniently located near a metro station, but dining options nearby are quite limited, with McDonald’s and Starbucks etc being one of the few choices. The staff were friendly and helpful. I had some Taobao parcels delivered to the hotel, and the staff kindly arranged for a delivery robot to bring them directly to my room, which was very convenient and much appreciated. Strongly recommended!

What a lucky find to discover such a brand-new, high-quality courtyard hotel nestled right in the prime hutongs of Beijing's Second Ring Road! Siya Jasmine Courtyard Hotel has just opened, and the entire property is impeccably maintained. The charming, traditional Chinese courtyard infused with subtle jasmine scents creates a flawless blend of authentic old-Beijing vibes and relaxed luxury. The amenities easily rival those of high-end boutique hotels. The rooms feature smart controls so you can manage everything by voice commands. The bathroom has a smart three-piece layout with sparkling clean, brand-new fixtures, along with thoughtful touches like alcohol wipes and disposable toilet seat covers—an absolute dream for germaphobes. The room is spacious, the mattress and pillows offer just the right balance of comfort and support, and it was so quiet at night that you couldn't hear any traffic from the hutongs at all. The service offers a true butler-style experience. The staff are warm, gentle, and always ready to help. They even proactively upgraded our room and gave us great recommendations for local hutong eateries and sightseeing routes. The facilities are also top-notch, featuring a 24-hour self-service laundry room, a gym, and a tea room, making extended stays a breeze. The location couldn't be better. Tucked away in the Dongsi hutongs, it's just a short walk to Dongsi Subway Station, making it super easy to visit the Forbidden City, Wangfujing, and Lama Temple, with local hutong street food right outside the door. Staying in a traditional siheyuan—exploring historic imperial sites by day and sipping tea peacefully in the courtyard by night—is truly the most authentic way to experience Beijing. This place is definitely on my go-to list, and I'll be back on my next trip to Beijing!

Amazing! We spent five nights staying in a deluxe king room with terrace/balcony at The Purple Horse Hotel in Beijing at the end of June 2026.. The location is excellent. The hotel is situated in the heart of a Hutong which offers a calm quiet and serene experience in the middle of a bustling city, only a short walk to restaurants and shops. The Hutong itself is a great experience, it's safe and friendly and we enjoyed chatting to the locals at the corner shop. The hotel is absolutely wonderful. It's less than two years old and It is finished to a really high standard, the attention to detail is incredible. It felt luxurious with the highest quality furnishings and the bathroom and shower were like something you would find in a spa. Our room had great views over the Hutong and the Beijing skyline and had excellent air conditioning. We had a buffet breakfast and a buffet dinner included and it was delicious and served in a beautiful restaurant on the top floor. Above that there was an amazing rooftop terrace with an outdoor swimming pool, a cocktail bar and 360⁰ views of the city. There is also a Peking duck restaurant on the ground floor, a gym and a self service complimentary laundry room. The best thing about this hotel is the staff. The level of service and the attentiveness of the staff is at a level that we have never experienced before. The staff are super friendly and polite and they are always trying to help. Our room was cleaned to an immaculate level every day and we were often left little gifts and kind notes. The service in the restaurant was great and once again always really kind and friendly, special mention to Nieve for looking after us so well. Anything we needed, any questions we had, the staff really went out of their way to help us and did so with big smiles on their faces and we had fun times in our interactions with them. Everyone had a good level of English, especially the front for house staff and management . If you want a comfortable, clean, modern hotel with great facilities, in a great, safe location and would like staff that will advise and help you and direct you and even organise trips and transport for you, then this is the hotel for you. We would like to thank some of the staff that really went out of their way to help us. Ella and Anduo who organised a print shop for us and helped us find some specific gift shops. Nieve for making us smile everyday in the restaurant. The housekeeping team for making our room so clean, comfortable and amazing every day. The front desk service was excellent. They helped us receive many packages, organized them, and delivered them to our room. It was raining when we checked out, and they enthusiastically lent us umbrellas and helped us with our luggage.
