"Cleanliness: Subpar. I started itching right after my afternoon nap, and it persisted throughout the next day and night, leaving me scratching constantly. I had initially planned to extend my stay, but the discomfort was so unbearable that I simply cancelled my reservation and checked out early.
Environment: The location is good, being very close to the subway entrance, which made getting around super convenient. However, the street area directly below the hotel was quite dirty and chaotic. The soundproofing was poor; the outdoor air conditioning unit was extremely loud, as was the street noise from downstairs. I didn't get a wink of sleep.
Service: On the plus side, the front desk offers complimentary late-night congee and free laundry service. They also allow for late check-out, which is a thoughtful and flexible policy. (I didn't use the laundry service, so I can't vouch for its quality.)"

"I really loved the minimalist Chinese style here; the attention to detail clearly shows how much thought the owner put into it. The front courtyard is perfect for enjoying tea, offering a serene and comfortable environment where you can stay cool and relax, even when it's 38°C outside. Chaodong Street is definitely the best place in Changsha for a short two to three-day stay. I'll definitely be back! Many thanks to the owner for the excellent tea."

"The location is excellent! It's just a 2-3 minute walk from the metro station, with plenty of restaurants nearby, and it's also conveniently close to Taiping Old Street. The hotel's facilities and decor are fantastic; I was very impressed. On the second night, around midnight, I found the bedroom air conditioning wasn't cool enough, so I called the front desk. They promptly arranged a temporary room change for us. What was incredibly thoughtful was that they also allowed us to keep our original room for our luggage, saving us the hassle of moving everything in the middle of the night. This was extremely accommodating. Big thumbs up to the staff! 👍"

"The decoration style I saw online was very high-end, but the twin room we booked was a bit shabby when we got there. The main point is that the sound outside the window is a bit noisy, it can be improved by installing double-layer soundproof glass. The room is ordinary. We came from the train station and had to walk a long way to get there. The electric scooter couldn't pass the overpass. I think you can choose a hotel inside the train station. There are several good ones inside. Then there is a subway station outside the train station. It is also convenient to go to the popular attractions on Line 2."

"Environment: Passing through Changsha, I chose Hualu Hotel for its convenient location. Wenheyou, Pozi Street, Huoguangdian, Taiping Old Street, and a stroll along the Xiangjiang River are all within a 5-10 minute walk. While those who don't like spicy food might not be comfortable with Changsha's cuisine, the street is packed with Cha Yan Family restaurants and authentic stinky tofu.
Facilities: Parking is free, but the hotel is located on the ground floor of a construction site that looks like an unfinished building. The last two or three hundred meters involve a narrow alley with three consecutive turns, so novice drivers should be wary. Aside from the somewhat intimidating parking lot, the room was quite nice.
Service: The hotel proactively contacted me with a video of the parking route before arrival. Upon check-in, they promptly informed me that the air conditioning temperature was lower than set and provided me with information about the laundry and gym facilities along the way. Regardless of whether they used it, their proactive service is commendable."

AAnonymous UserI came to Changsha for a holiday and wanted to live closer to May Day Square. I found this hotel. I didn't expect the accommodation experience to be so good. It was quiet and not noisy. The room had no peculiar smell. The environment was elegant. There was afternoon tea and unlimited movie snacks. The service was also thoughtful. The surrounding transportation was also convenient. I highly recommend it.

GGuest UserGreat hotel, centrally located to everything! Easy access from the train station- it took less than 45 min to get from the train station to the hotel. About 1.5 blocks from the metro (about 8 min walk), this hotel was perfect for what we needed. It’s about 15 walk from the famous pedestrian street and other popular sights/ restaurants that you may want to visit as well.
The room was extremely comfortable with everything you’d need. Our room faced the main road but the sound proofing was fantastic and you didn’t hear anything. While they offer laundry on-site, you actually just pass the laundry to them and they’ll return it you within 4 hours. Everything was very clean and the daily cleaning staff was great!
The staff were fantastic, helpful in every way. When we arrived there was no record of our pre-paid reservation. They immediately called Trip to sort it out and checked us in quite quickly. I would stay at this hotel again the next time we come to Changsha!

GGuest UserThis trip in Changsha was particularly comfortable because I chose the right homestay! The location is really great. It is near Huangxing Square and a few minutes' walk to the subway station. It is very convenient to go shopping and eating in Pozi Street and IFS. You can also take a walk to see the night view of Xiangjiang River at night. The room is surprisingly clean, the bedding is soft and skin-friendly, and even the corners are spotless. The facilities are very new, the air conditioner cools quickly, and there is plenty of hot water. What I want to praise most is the staff, who are very considerate from check-in to check-out. Inform the route in advance, help with luggage, and recommend a Hunan restaurant frequented by locals. The responsive attitude makes people feel like home. The decoration is simple and a little retro, and the photos are very good. It is comfortable and stylish to live. I will choose here next time I come to Changsha!

RRuoruoyeThis is my first time experiencing such a smart, automated hotel service. From the self-service check-in with ID upon entering, to using the key card to access the upper floors, and then scanning a QR code to access 100 different in-stay amenities – it's all so convenient. They already provide facial cleanser and makeup remover wipes, which is great, but I was surprised they even offer disposable underwear and nail clippers! They really anticipate your every need and provide whatever you might want. The best part is, for a hotel that costs only 100 per person, they also provide breakfast and an evening congee, plus two complimentary cocktails! The whole stay felt like a home away from home, and the experience was truly excellent.

MM256585****Facilities: I think the quilt should be changed to a thinner one in the weather in May. It will be cold if you don’t cover yourself with it when you sleep at night, but it will be warm if you cover yourself with it.
Environment: To be honest, I didn’t see the door of the hotel from the outside. Finally, I saw a store with a similar name written on the 28th floor, so I went up. Then it seemed to be a hotel, so I was recommended to go to the 24th floor.
Service: There is no problem with the check-in and check-out process at the front desk, but you can hear chatting every time you pass by. Maybe because there is no lounge, the chat between the two people at the front desk is very clear.
Hygiene: Newly renovated, there is a little smell, but the good thing is that the doors of the rooms that are not occupied are basically opened for ventilation.
Others: The sound insulation is really bad, or you should never book the cheapest room, the window faces the aisle and there is basically no view. Then this room was surrounded, so the sound of opening and closing doors in the surrounding rooms was very noisy.
