"I absolutely have to rave about this standalone hotel! From the moment I walked in, I was thoroughly impressed. The lobby is decorated with such great style – bright and grand. The biggest surprise was the free automated parking garage! If you're driving, you won't have to worry about parking at all, which is a huge relief. The service is also impeccable; whether it was checking in at the front desk or encountering the cleaning staff in the hallway, everyone was incredibly warm and attentive. They answered all my questions, proactively recommended local food and attractions, and were very prompt with helping with luggage and delivering items. It felt very welcoming and comfortable. The room's cleanliness was absolutely amazing! The floors and tables were spotless, and the bedding was clean, soft, and odorless. All the facilities and equipment were also very new. The TV screen was large with clear picture quality, and even the vanity mirror had a built-in light, showing they really understand what women need~ I especially want to highlight the bathroom! The wet and dry separation was done perfectly. The shower had great water pressure and no splashing, and the toilet was clean and odorless. My favorite part was the bathtub in the room – taking a hot bath and doing a face mask in the evening was pure bliss! Plus, the hotel offers luggage storage, so after checking out, I could explore the attractions longer without worrying about my bags. The staff kept them securely, and picking them up was very convenient. The overall experience was absolutely fantastic. Whether you're on a road trip or a leisure vacation, choosing this place is a no-brainer. I've already recommended it to all my friends, and I'll definitely stay here again next time!"

AAnonymous UserEnter the hotel apartment from the hotel lobby, go straight to the right and pass the elevator to the apartment reception. It is not as luxurious as the hotel reception, and there are not many people to handle it, so you don’t have to queue up. The room for prepaid orders has been prepared in advance, and it has been upgraded to a suite for free. Fruits have been placed in the living room of the room. The room is large and the bathroom is also large. The comfort is very good.
Breakfast, gym, and swimming pool are shared with the hotel. Except that Marriott points are not accumulated, everything else is impeccable. I will stay here next time.

I want to dedicate this review exclusively to Dora, one of the staff members who served us during our nine-night stay at Kempinski Changsha.
Overall, the staff at Kempinski Changsha were very friendly and helpful. However, Dora's service stood out in a special way. Her friendliness, initiative, and warm smile made a lasting impression on us. She consistently paid attention to our needs and requests, always striving to ensure our comfort. Dora went above and beyond to fulfill what we needed during our stay.
When we were in the executive lounge, Dora also took the initiative to make me a cocktail, but I wanted a mocktail, and she said that she could arrange it for me, and the taste of Dora's mocktail was very delicious, one named it Sweet Strawberry and the other one is Orange!
When we stay at hotels, we usually spend little time in the executive lounge and prefer relaxing in our room. However, thanks to Dora's exceptional service, we felt completely comfortable and ended up staying in the executive lounge for a longer time!
Every 5-star hotel offers a distinct room atmosphere, but the quality of service from the staff, like Dora, ultimately influences our decision to return to this hotel.
As for now, we don’t know when we will go back to Changsha City, but the next time we go back to Changsha, we will definitely choose to stay at Kempinski Changsha again!

JJusLeeEverything was great! The location is a bit out of the city center, but they provide taxi vouchers, which makes getting around very convenient. The executive lounge service was excellent, and the desserts were delicious. The Mango Sago dessert (杨枝甘露) is only available in the evenings, though. I suggest they offer it during afternoon tea as well.

In terms of facilities, it's pretty standard; compared to other Grand Hyatts I've stayed at, like in Chengdu or Kunming, it lacks a certain design flair and doesn't have any 'wow' factors. The hygiene is great, and the service is very professional. Overall, it's a by-the-book hotel, perfectly adequate but nothing special, making it well-suited for business travel.

2270096****Perhaps my expectations were a bit too high for this stay, leading to a slight disappointment overall. Still, I gave a full score as it's not easy to run a business. Here are a few suggestions for reference.
The Wuyi Square branch is actually quite a distance from Wuyi Square itself, not to mention even further from the river. I arrived at 10 PM, thinking the river was just a short walk away, but after walking for half an hour, I still hadn't reached it. I ended up taking a taxi, but by then I had already missed the 11 PM light show.
The floor I stayed on was even hotter than outside. Staff said the person in charge of the AC had just turned it off because they were clocking out. I asked and was told they finish at 10 PM, but my watch showed 9:40 PM. It was still hot the next morning too.
The reviews mentioned afternoon tea and whiskey, which is why I booked the Executive Twin Room, as the front desk said it was the best twin room in the hotel. When I asked about the afternoon tea and whiskey, I was told they weren't available unless ordered through a third-party platform. I asked staff which third-party platforms had it, but they couldn't name any. Doesn't my Ctrip corporate booking count as a third party?
The laundry room was advertised as a special service, but when I inquired, the staff had already left for the day, so I gave up on it.
My room package stated it included a souvenir. After checking out, the staff didn't proactively offer it. I remembered and asked, and they did give me two small snacks.
Overall, I missed out on a lot during this trip to Changsha. I'd advise anyone looking for a good location to check the map carefully beforehand. If you have no high expectations, it's an okay place to stay. As a long-time Huazhu user, I personally prefer Hanting. Breakfast was decent.

This stay was in the N1 Deluxe River View King Room. The room felt a bit cramped and lacked a walk-in closet.
In terms of service, the hotel staff were exceptionally warm, attentive, and professional, making guests feel right at home. The front desk and guest experience team were responsive and thoughtfully provided welcome fruit and refreshments.
The hotel facilities are comprehensive and modern luxury. The guest rooms are spacious and bright, and the bedding is comfortable and skin-friendly. The hotel lobby, situated on the 93rd floor, offers expansive views. The 93rd-floor restaurant provides a diverse array of Chinese and Western breakfast options, and their exquisite afternoon tea is highly praised.
Overall hygiene management met expectations; the rooms were tidy and clean, and the housekeeping team was diligent and promptly addressed guests' cleaning needs.

The mall downstairs made shopping incredibly convenient, and the hotel's design is truly eye-catching. The staff at the front desk, concierge, restaurant, and housekeeping were all very enthusiastic and friendly. Before check-in, the butler added me on WeChat and sent me travel information and a tourist guide. The robot delivery for meals was convenient and quick. Breakfast runs from 7 AM all the way until 1 PM – I've never seen a restaurant with such long service hours! There's a #1 bus downstairs, and the subway exit is just a convenient 3-minute walk away. Plus, there's a KFC and McDonald's on either side of the hotel.

DDuan./This hotel is the right choice for Changsha! The subway is just downstairs, so you don't have to worry about going anywhere. The room has everything it should have, it is very neat and tidy, it is comfortable to live in, the room is very clean, there are many delicious foods nearby, the aunties are also diligent in cleaning, and I didn't expect that they also sent green bean soup to drink, which is cool and refreshing, a very thoughtful little surprise!

MM429002****Before I arrived, I hadn't booked the Backpackers' Ten Years Youth Hostel. I'd actually reserved a spot at Nanfengchu Sea Youth Hostel on Wuyi Road. However, that place, due to age restrictions, refused my check-in. In over twenty years of staying at youth hostels across the country, this was the first time I'd encountered such a frustrating refusal. So, I reluctantly turned to Changsha Backpackers' Ten Years Youth Hostel, and thankfully, they welcomed me with immense warmth. As a long-time backpacker, I was incredibly grateful.
I've always known Backpackers' Ten Years is an industry benchmark, and staying here confirmed it: the 1.2-meter beds are very soft and comfortable, and the bunks offer great privacy with curtains, reading lamps, bedside tables, and clothes rails. I also noticed that the room's air conditioning was a new upright unit, and the hostel didn't interfere with it running 24 hours a day. This is so much better than other youth hostels, providing guests with the most comfortable living environment possible. There are many restrooms in the hostel, and the showers come with shampoo and body wash. All in all, my three-day stay at Changsha Backpackers' Ten Years, as someone who has stayed in so many youth hostels nationwide, left me nothing but impressed.
I hope Backpackers' Ten Years opens more branches across the country to accommodate more backpackers like us.
