Outstanding
DDaizhuonaiyouzhudaochuwanThe front desk staff were excellent, especially the two handsome guys and beautiful ladies who proactively offered us breakfast. GreenYou is truly a bargain during the off-season. For the same price, definitely don't choose the Victoria Hotel across the street – that place is like the Eight Immortals Restaurant, with many guests dying there in recent years. Friends staying near the Border Gate, please be aware!
KKaikai10Although the room was small, it was well-arranged and efficiently utilized, so it didn't feel cramped at all. The shower room also felt spacious enough. Everything was clean, tidy, and comfortable. The surrounding area is also quite nice, but the main selling point is the superb location – it's just a 5-minute walk to the Inner Harbour Ferry Terminal and Senado Square, which is incredibly convenient. The staff were also absolutely top-notch. The value for money is excellent, and I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Macau.
GGaya MI stayed here for 3 nights; location is great close to bus stops and downtown area. The rooms are clean. However, the service here isn’t what you might read in the previous reviews. I changed my double room to a single one the last night and, there was no hot water the whole, in the beginning I didn’t understand when I just got in, only at night when I wanted to take shower I found it out. You know what I was told- please boil the kettle so you can take a shower on the phone because something in the basement is broken and I wasn’t notified beforehand of it when I moved in.
GGuest UserThe disposable bed sheets, duvet covers, and towels were of very poor quality. I strongly recommend replacing them with standard ones. The room wasn't ventilated, so there was a musty smell when I first checked in. Overall, it was not a good experience.
AAnonymous UserThis is my second time staying at this hotel. It's right next to the Lower Market and very close to the bus stop, making it convenient to get anywhere. The front desk requires a 100 deposit, and they accept RMB, HKD, or MOP. The decor is relatively new, and the cleanliness is good. I'll consider staying here again next time I'm in Macau.
GGuest UserThe lady at the front desk was incredibly attentive and efficient, always greeting us with a kind and patient smile. Every time we had a question, she responded promptly, making our service experience truly excellent. The hotel facilities are also great. The night before, a male front desk staff member had put us in a very bad mood, but the next morning, the lady at the front desk offered a solution that instantly brightened our spirits. The room was very clean and tidy, the bedding was super comfortable, and the blackout curtains worked perfectly. Plus, their check-out time is really late, which was a huge bonus! Overall, it was a very happy trip.
CClaire ArranguezThis was our second time checking in at this hotel. First was in 2018 and it's way cleaner than it is now. However, location's right in Senado Square, close to main attractions in Taipa. The room was also spacious, as well as the beds. Another big con is the floors reeking of cigarette smoke despite the signs of NO SMOKING. They should impose it stricter to avoid affecting non-smoking individuals. The carpets need a good replacement. If this hotel cleans their room better, the standard will so much better as well! A small fridge will also be very helpful. Every hotel room should have them now, I believe. Nonetheless, it's enough for a place to rest.
GGuest UserMy stay at the Yi Fu Hotel in Macau far exceeded my expectations; it's definitely my top choice for this price range! The hotel's location is fantastic – within walking distance of popular attractions like the Ruins of St. Paul's and Senado Square. There are plenty of restaurants, supermarkets, and souvenir shops nearby, making it incredibly convenient. Check-in was very efficient, and the front desk staff were warm and polite. They patiently explained sightseeing routes, transportation options, and local dining recommendations, and even offered luggage storage, which was very friendly to tourists. The room had excellent natural light and ventilation, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The bathroom was spotless, with a well-designed wet/dry separation. Although the room wasn't exceptionally large, the layout was practical, making good use of the space. Overall, it offers excellent value for money, with attentive service, a prime location, and a clean, quiet environment. It’s perfect for both leisure and short trips. I've already recommended it to friends and will definitely choose Yi Fu Hotel again on my next visit to Macau. I truly recommend it to every traveler coming to Macau!
JJulia031089If you consider booking Pensao Carmen, you should know that on the signage of the hotel it’s NOT Pensao Carmen! Remember that, otherwise you’re gonna have a hard time looking for this place)) I’ll add photos of the actual signage.
Pros: conveniently located in Macau’s old town, it takes around 10 minutes to get to The Ruins of St.Paul on foot, and all other historical sites are just around.
The staff was very friendly and helpful, even if they didn’t speak English at all. I met the three of them and all were old ladies, super nice and cute. I left my luggage after check-out for the whole day before moving to Coloane village hotel.
The bed sheets were of good quality and very clean, I enjoyed my sleep after a tiring flight. The bed, though, was kinda hard, not for everyone, but my back was grateful)) pillows were also comfortable, better than at some much more expensive hotels.
You can get as much water as you want from the water station at the corridor.
There’s a bus station 5 minutes walking from the hotel, the name is Ponte 16, it’s right in front of the famous Sofitel.
CONS: The hotel is located on the second floor, there’s no elevator, so you have to carry your luggage up there.
My room was tiny, it’s really just for one person. The bed is kinda short, for me it was enough but I think a taller person might not feel comfortable enough there (my height is 162 cm)
The bathroom is tiny, too, and given its dark green design, it looks rather dirty. I’m not sure if it was, but I found someone’s tooth brush in the shower and some hair in the drainage. Yuck!! Only one big towel was clean though.
All in all, I didn’t expect much from it so neither should you 🤩
MMr’zengThis is definitely my top choice for accommodation when visiting the old district. The bus takes you directly there, and there are plenty of restaurants downstairs, as well as a supermarket for convenient shopping. It's close to the Ruins of St. Paul's and just a few hundred meters from the Municipal Affairs Bureau, making it super convenient for shopping. Highly recommended!
