"Amazing service from the hotel owner. lady boss is so nice. location is right in the hesrt of all the eateries. perfect place to stay if you want to visit the walki street. just take note that in the shower room, if you re in fanily room, staying with other people or adult kids, the shower room can be a little bit incovenient due to less hanger and you may want some privacy to ooen door to take your towel. but we were good as we made do with it."

There was WiFi, free laundry service, a working TV, 24-hour hot water for showers, and he even recommended delicious food. The bed was also made perfectly (we messed it up when we first arrived). There was air conditioning. There were two free bottles of water and electric mosquito coils! OMG! !!! The owner was so nice!! "It's a cheap hostel, so you get what you are supposed to get for the price. One thing that I liked is the common area, with a table and chairs to eat or work. Also, the owner was really nice to me. I only had a bad impression of the bathroom, because when I got there the cigarette smell was so strong, and they throw away the cigarette on the toilet, not trash can, so it didn't look that clean. But that was the guest's fault. For about 12 minutes walking from the hostel there izs a big mall, and at night you can buy some street food. The hostel is located inside a curious place with a lot of shops of house furniture. But it was very calm at night. I met there a new friend, so overall it was a good experience for the price. It's not the closest to downtown, but I was aware of that."

"The location is great. And the hotel is ok for one or two nights. Hot water works perfectly. The bed and pillow weren’t very comfortable. I didn’t like that the walls are very thin and both nights I woke up because people in the next room made a lot of noise, so I hadn’t the best rest there. But I think it was ok because of the location."

You could see the Wenfeng Tower in the ancient city of Luoyi up close by opening the window. The entrance to the ancient city of Luoyi was just downstairs and across the overpass. The walking pace was only 10 minutes. The surrounding facilities were very complete. There was a coffee shop and city study room downstairs. There was a spacious kitchen and kitchen appliances, a water purification system, a rice cooker and a microwave oven. We heated up the leftover dinner from the previous day for breakfast, which was very convenient. The room was a very new two-bedroom and one-living room. After the children rested, I still had space to work for a while without disturbing my family who were already resting. It was a typical high-end community configuration. The house condition and equipment were very new, so I couldn't bear to destroy it when I left. I cleaned it myself before leaving. Thank you for your careful service. "i saw many positive reviews and was excited to see if it was reality... Simply put, its worth visiting Luoyang just to stay at May Fourth Youth Hostel. The level of cleanliness, amicability, overall positive yet low-key ambience should be the standard across the country. From the music choice in the lobby to the staff who run it, It's clear it has been designed and is run by people who really understand what it means to be a traveller and what makes a good hotel. The rooms are spacious (sometimes hostels can feel claustophobic - but not here), with beds having more space than typical, good quality pillow and duvets. Suited for both travellers from the east and west, there are seated and squat toilets, with a large array of showers. The washing machine is great (if they had a couple of good Dryers too that would be amazing), as well as the communal rooms with vending machines, pool table, and seating area (including the lovely quiet library space) The location is decent too, a spacious cultural park is nearby with the hostel itself tucked away from the main street, creating convinience but not crowds. The price is perfect! ideal for young people, students and solo travellers visiting on a budget. My friend decided to stay here two more days just because of the comfort and facilities. As both a foreigner and a woman, i felt safe and welcome here so i reccommend friends from abroad to come check this place out. Possibly the best youth hostel i've had the pleasure of staying in oh also the little cat is so cute !"
