After exploring the Grottoes and Bai Garden, it's just a short walk back to the hotel. The room type we booked even included a free send-off service to the station, which was very convenient. While the decor might be a little dated, the facilities are complete. It's clean and hygienic, with welcome fruit and complimentary snacks and drinks. The breakfast offers a wide variety of dishes, all rich and delicious, though the coffee was really not good, haha. We had lunch in the banquet hall, using a BOGO deal from Ctrip for two people, and the portion sizes were incredibly generous and tasty! Upon check-in, we received a voucher for the tea room on the upper floor's terrace. Enjoying tea and a book there was incredibly pleasant! The lady working at the tea room provided amazing service. Overall, I highly recommend it!

I slept soundly on a heated blanket on the second floor, listening to the snow fall all night through the round window – it was a magical feeling. I woke up around 6 AM, and without even leaving the room, just by pulling back the curtains, I could see snow-covered pines, mist, and a blanket of fresh snow – such a stunning view. I couldn't wait to get dressed and open the door, just to capture the snowscape before anyone else had set foot in it (by 6:30 AM, other guests were already starting to come out to take photos and enjoy the view).
