No usb sockets, bring own plug Small lounge with table & 2 chairs, clothes drying or storage on a wardrobe rack. We didn't use the hotel's free self__service laundry. Tip: Pour boiling water (kettle provided) down sink or shower drain to avoid any odours. Receptionist called & quickly got a a taxi for us, the didi car we'd ordered the night before didn,t come due to heavy rain and local road flood

This cliffside hotel is absolutely stunning! The 'Ten-Mile Picture Screen' (Shili Huaping) is right below your feet. Eating fried chicken and drinking milk tea in your room, watching everyone else struggle up the path you just came from – it feels like you're achieving immortality. Be aware that there's a steep set of stairs leading up to the hotel. Another amazing thing is that after watching the Laojun Mountain performance, while everyone else rushes to catch the cable car down, I just turned around and was resting within five minutes. It gets dark and cold very quickly on the mountain once the sun sets, so bring extra clothes and good lighting. For sunrise, all you have to do is open your eyes; the hotel has several platforms for viewing, or you can walk to the Golden Summit in just five minutes. This will definitely be a hotel I revisit. For views like this, the dry toilets and lack of showering facilities become utterly irrelevant.
