"We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Luoyang Longmen with our kids and had a great overall experience. The hotel is right next to Longmen High-Speed Rail Station, making transportation incredibly convenient. It's also a very short drive to the Longmen Grottoes and Luoyang Museum, which saved us a lot of time and effort when traveling with children. The rooms were new, clean, and spacious, with soft bedding, excellent blackout curtains, and good soundproofing, ensuring the kids slept soundly at night. The breakfast buffet offered a rich variety of options, catering to children's tastes as well. The front desk service was thoughtful and attentive, with efficient check-in and quick responses to any requests. There's also a self-service laundry room, which is super handy for changing clothes when traveling with family. The quality of this chain hotel is consistently good, parking is convenient, and its location is particularly suitable for visiting the major attractions in Luolong District. It offers great value for money and is highly recommended for family trips."

"Location & Facilities: This guesthouse is located in an old residential area, tucked away in an alley which made it a little hard to find. During the day, there's quite a bit of foot traffic from local residents, and driving into the alley can be tricky. However, you can park at the alley entrance and walk for about two to three minutes to reach the guesthouse, so it's still quite convenient. The main gate has an electronic lock, and you can only open it with your room card after dark, which made us feel very secure. Free parking nearby is a bit 'wild west' – basically just parking along the side of the alley. If you're worried about scratches or inconvenience, there are also paid parking lots nearby; 5 yuan for overnight parking is a reasonable price, I think. Being in the old city, the guesthouse is very close to attractions like Luoyi Ancient City and other bustling areas. Grabbing a shared e-scooter, you can reach all sorts of delicious food within about ten minutes, making it super convenient for eating and exploring. Service: The owner, a very enthusiastic gentleman, called us right after we booked to confirm if we needed a parking space. After checking in, he recommended many local eateries. We basically followed his recommendations for most of our two or three days in Luoyang, and everything was authentic and affordable! I have to say, the owner’s recommendations as a local were truly authentic; he had our breakfast, lunch, and dinner plans perfectly sorted. Since we rented a car, we'd tell him roughly when we'd return to the guesthouse, and he'd help confirm a parking spot in advance, so we could park directly near the guesthouse upon arrival. He always has a cheerful smile, and when we bumped into him heading out, he'd actively ask how our day was going and how we liked the restaurants he recommended. Overall, he made us feel right at home, very comfortable! Hygienics: The entire guesthouse was impeccably maintained by the owner. Our room was clean and tidy, making for a very comfortable stay. The bathroom had no unpleasant smells, and the hot water for showers was great and convenient, with no drainage issues. They also provided disposable bath towels and face towels, which was a nice touch. The mattress was incredibly comfortable; combined with all the delicious food in Luoyang, we pretty much crashed as soon as we got back to the guesthouse and slept like logs, haha. No wonder previous reviews mentioned feeling like they were staying in a five-star hotel. Overall, the stay was an excellent experience! I highly recommend this guesthouse to everyone! It's been three or four days since we returned from Luoyang, and I just remembered I had to leave a big positive review for the owner! The value of a retrospective review speaks for itself. Please support the owner's business! Staying in such a comfortable guesthouse made our trip to Luoyang even more enjoyable! "I had a very satisfying stay here, and it was excellent value for money. The location is superb; Gulou (Drum Tower) is right across the street, and it's incredibly convenient for shopping and visiting the ancient city. The subway station is also close by. I booked a room with a mahjong/card room because I wanted a king-sized bed, and since it was too hot to go out during the day, we spent our time indoors – it even saved us the cost of renting a mahjong room elsewhere. The butler service was also very attentive and responsive to all our requests. The entire guesthouse offers a quiet escape in a bustling area, and it's quite spacious. The decor perfectly embodies a traditional Chinese aesthetic."

"The hotel's exterior has a very retro feel, perfectly matching Luoyang's culture. There's a large parking lot behind the hotel, which is convenient for those driving. However, for getting around the city and to attractions, I'd recommend taking a taxi or the subway to avoid traffic and parking difficulties. The young lady at the front desk was super enthusiastic and gave me tons of tips for traveling in Luoyang. Based on her recommendation, I ditched my plan to drive to Laojun Mountain and booked a one-day tour instead – that advice was brilliant! I even got to enjoy a nice nap on the bus on the way back. 😘 The hotel is located near Lijing Gate, just a few minutes' walk from the subway station. You can also walk to Shizijie and Luoyi Ancient City, and it's just one subway stop to Yingtiangate. Catching a taxi right outside the hotel is super convenient too. 🥰"

"I came to Luoyang specifically for the peony blossom season, which is peak tourist season here. Hotel prices are higher, especially for those close to the core attractions in the Old Town, where the increase is even more significant. I ended up choosing this Holiday Inn near the Municipal Government in Luoyang's new district, and the experience was very good. The location is excellent. The subway station is right downstairs, making it super convenient to get to Luoyang's main peony viewing spots and other attractions. Since there are so many tourists right now, parking and traffic around the Old Town and flower viewing areas are a nightmare, so the subway is definitely the best option. Even though we drove, we parked the car in the hotel's underground parking, which was also very convenient. There are plenty of dining options near the hotel. While it might not have as many trendy, '网红' (internet-famous) restaurants as the Old Town, many places in the new district offer good value for money. Breakfast was standard for a Holiday Inn, but a nice touch was the upgraded coffee beans, which are the same as Luckin Coffee's and taste great. Everything else also met the usual Holiday Inn standards."

"The location is excellent, right near the North Gate of Luoyi Ancient City. The hotel environment is great overall, and it's very clean. It's quiet at night, so you can get a good rest. Plus, the subway station is just a few hundred meters away, which is super convenient for getting around to other places."

"It is near high speed train station 洛陽龍門 。As you may notice from the name, it is also close to one of most famous tourist spot 龍門石窟 。You can go there easily by taxi or internet booked car. Room is clean and tidy. Facilities are good, including washing machines, children playing area, meeting room, gym. The breakfast is satisfied and provides plenty of food and drinks. There is a small gift provided to us when check out, the service is excellent in general."

"Highly recommended! This newly opened hotel had very clean sheets and pillows. The mattress was thick and very comfortable. The housekeeping staff were very attentive, specifically pointing out the locations of the breakfast and laundry rooms. There's also free parking. The hotel's location is convenient for getting around; parking at the hotel and taking a bus for two stops at night took me to Yingtianmen and Jiuzhouchi, and during the day I took a bus from right outside to Longmen Pass – so convenient! It saved me the hassle of finding parking. The hotel's souvenirs were very practical. Great!"

"This place was the best accommodations we had for my parents and my wife, the rooms were spacious, the view was incredible, the hosts was so accommodating and warm, food was delicious. To the right of the hotel is a muslim street with morning markets and sometimes night market, to the left of the hotel after the bridge is the Luoyi ancient city. There are performances every night during the golden week. A lot of festivities and a lot of the traditional hanfu places to try out nearby. We loved this place and will always want to come back here."
