"It was a really enjoyable stay: the location is very central and the subway line is only 2 mins walk away. So from the high speed line it will take you approximately 50 mins to reach the hotel. Taxi is sometimes not even fast - the price of the subway is unbeatable low compared to the taxi. The room was very clean, quiet and ideal for a couple of days. The owner was very kind and even helped with the laundry. Wi-Fi connection was top. Around the hotel you‘ll find loads of traditional restaurants, Cafés and supermarkets. A hidden gem, which I highly recommend."

"This was a spontaneous trip, and I only booked the hotel and high-speed rail a day or two before departing. To my surprise, the stay exceeded all expectations. Tucked away in an alley, this guesthouse revealed a whole new world once you stepped inside – much larger than I imagined! I booked the private balcony room, and they even had a 'stove tea' setup. I thought it would be one large room with three connected king beds, but it turned out to be one room with two beds and another with one, offering both convenience and privacy for a large family. From check-in to room service and breakfast, the three ladies provided incredibly thoughtful and prompt service. The location is also very convenient, with the guesthouse having its own private parking and electric scooter rentals available. It's within walking distance to Shizi Street, Lijing Gate, and Luoyi Ancient City. The guesthouse staff also offered a range of travel tips and recommendations."

"I stayed for three nights. The hotel is located within the Tongtuo Muyu scenic area, which is small and not yet officially open, so there aren't many tourists, mostly local residents. The room was spacious, with the famous Chan River visible from the window. The windows were well-sealed; once closed, you couldn't hear the sound of the water. You can control the lights and curtains by voice, which is great for winter. The breakfast selection was rich, and the old lamb soup with bread (paomo) comes highly recommended (you need to go to the restaurant to eat it yourself). Both the staff and the cat were incredibly welcoming; the cat would even follow me to my room and actively ask for scratches. A small suggestion: the blue light on the smart toilet seat was a bit bright at night, and I couldn't figure out how to turn it off."

"The B&B's location is superb, offering beautiful views and being right near the ancient city. If you get hungry at night, it's easy to find food nearby. The staff are also incredibly warm and attentive. The interior of the B&B is absolutely stunning; every corner is perfect for taking Hanfu portraits. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a comfortable environment and wanting to do Hanfu photoshoots – you can get amazing shots right there on site."

"I booked this hotel to catch an early morning high-speed train from Longmen Station the next day. It's very close to the high-speed rail station as the crow flies, but there's no direct access, so you have to walk around, which takes about 15 minutes. The commercial area nearby still seems undeveloped. The hotel itself is very new, and the facilities and breakfast are both excellent. I arrived at night and forgot to take photos of the hotel."

"The cleanliness of the hotel is not the best. Maybe cause of the construction going on right next door, there is some dust around the room and on the floor. Hence, it would be better if the floor is mopped more often - our feet became quite dirty after a few short walk within the room. However, as they provided slipper so I felt this problem can be easily resolved. The service really varies depending on the staff. Realising that our room wasn’t the best in cleanliness, the male staff did his best to help us in various way that we are extremely thankful for. However, the female staff is quite rude. I was trying to check with her whether there is fridge to store our fruits on our first night, she didn’t look at me when replying me n was focused on her phone. I believe that this can be improved. Overall the room is really big n spacious so that makes is pretty comfortable for us."

"A perfect experience! I have to give a huge shoutout to the owner and the B&B! The owner is incredibly nice, warm, and thoughtful. From the considerate reminders before check-in to the detailed guidance upon arrival, you can feel the genuine sincerity in every aspect. They're as friendly as a close friend. The B&B's decor is absolutely stunning; every corner, from the entrance to the rooms, shows meticulous care. It's incredibly stylish and has a high aesthetic appeal. The rooms are impeccably clean and tidy, with complete and exquisite amenities, making for a truly comfortable stay. This trip was made so much happier because of this B&B. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit!"

"I was very happy with the room and the check-in experience. The front desk handled check-in incredibly quickly, and they even offered deposit-free check-in. Check-out was just as swift, with no need for a room inspection whatsoever, which made everything extremely convenient. The hotel is also very close to the high-speed rail station, only a little over a kilometer away, so getting a Didi (ride-share) was a breeze."

"I've stayed at three hotels in Luoyang, and this one offered the worst value for money. Nothing was offered upon check-in. During check-out, the front desk staff was overly enthusiastic, offering a small gift (a few pastries). As soon as I thanked her, she immediately asked us to give a 5-star review on the spot. I said I'd review it later, but she insisted we do it immediately, explaining it was for a performance assessment by her supervisor. I really disliked this. It makes me wonder if their high ratings are gamed this way. The room rate was over 500 RMB, much more expensive than Zhongzhou Hotel just a few hundred meters away, and even pricier than the 5-star Dongshan Hotel. I had expected something premium, but it felt more like an unsophisticated guesthouse. The other two hotels were cheaper but offered more professional and warmer service, plus complimentary fruit and snacks. Honest Review: 😀 Pros: 1. The quality of the in-room amenities was quite good. The slippers, made of cotton and linen, were very comfortable; I even kept them to use at subsequent hotels. 2. The bathroom had a good wet/dry separation. Having a laundry room with a dryer was very convenient. 3. The buffet breakfast was delicious. 😩 Cons: 1. The soundproofing in the room was extremely poor. The family next door woke up before 6 AM, and I could clearly hear their conversations, even their yawns. The staff's attitude wasn't exactly warm; they got the job done but lacked a genuinely professional and welcoming demeanor. When we checked in with two children, they didn't offer extra slippers or toothbrushes. This wasn't a huge issue, as we had brought our own, but this indifference, especially when contrasted with the forced 'enthusiasm' at check-out, was off-putting. 2. I'm not sure if it was just the layout, but the family room felt cramped and had a strange configuration. 3. The decor wasn't grand or tasteful, which wasn't to my liking."

"The front desk and housekeeping staff were incredibly patient and provided excellent service. When I arrived, my room wasn't quite ready, so the front desk immediately switched me to another one and even presented me with a handwritten note and a small gift. The cleaning lady noticed I was drinking tea and thoughtfully provided extra tea bags. I really enjoyed my time in Luoyang; I had a wonderful stay. Our room featured a mini-fridge, perfect for keeping drinks cool, and the bathroom boasted a convenient wet/dry separation. The hotel is ideally located directly above Jiefang Road subway station, with Xigong Night Market and Dennis Department Store close by. Public transportation was also abundant and very convenient, and it's not far from the museum. Upon checkout, they even gave me some complimentary local snacks as a farewell gift. All in all, the value for money was exceptional. I will definitely be returning!"
