Facilities: Quite advanced, all controlled by Xiaodu, quite intelligent.
Cleanliness: Relatively clean, and the maids are diligent.
Environment: Very unique, nestled within the ancient city, blending seamlessly into the fabric. The Wanjin Hotel and Yunhuali are both part of the same establishment, and the management is very savvy.
Many people who come to photograph Hanfu clothing use the steps downstairs.
What was unexpected was that hotel guests received a free afternoon tea each day. Since they hadn't yet finished making it, they gave my daughter two small toys, and the children also had breakfast.
A few downsides: We couldn't find the hotel on our first night. It would have been nice if the front desk could direct us. Also, the makeup service was an additional 168 per person, which was acceptable. My daughter's makeup was okay, but mine looked a bit old-fashioned, which made me hesitant to take photos, which was a bit of a letdown.

Jjingjing071It takes3.5 hours to drive from Xi'an. It is a great summer escape. The old village is renovated and there are villagers who have not moved away. In the ”older” lifestyle, the local pot chicken in the store is actually stewed with firewood for 2 hours. The soup is rotten and the stewed is made with salt. Simple seasoning, wild salmon is also praised, I heard that the customers in the store caught 2 pieces, and the store left one for us. The service is meticulous and will come again.
The secret environment in the mountains, the air is particularly fresh, there is an air detection data, I don’t know how accurate, the air is good, the food is simple but delicious, it seems that the local specialties are rich potatoes and corn
Sleeping until 12 noon, the staff did not urge, later I learned that the store manager saw that we had no breakfast, guessed that we slept late, gave a late check-out, too humane, service details are great
Thank you to the store manager sister, who accompanied us to the early morning in the evening, and also prepared warm heart tea and small gifts for us. Friends spent an unforgettable birthday together. Thank you to all the staff in the store. I will come back to live ～ is our home in the mountains.

Simply put, its worth visiting Luoyang just to stay at May Fourth Youth Hostel.
The level of cleanliness, amicability, overall positive yet low-key ambience should be the standard across the country. From the music choice in the lobby to the staff who run it, It's clear it has been designed and is run by people who really understand what it means to be a traveller and what makes a good hotel. The rooms are spacious (sometimes hostels can feel claustophobic - but not here), with beds having more space than typical, good quality pillow and duvets. Suited for both travellers from the east and west, there are seated and squat toilets, with a large array of showers. The washing machine is great (if they had a couple of good Dryers too that would be amazing), as well as the communal rooms with vending machines, pool table, and seating area (including the lovely quiet library space)
The location is decent too, a spacious cultural park is nearby with the hostel itself tucked away from the main street, creating convinience but not crowds. The price is perfect! ideal for young people, students and solo travellers visiting on a budget. My friend decided to stay here two more days just because of the comfort and facilities. As both a foreigner and a woman, i felt safe and welcome here so i reccommend friends from abroad to come check this place out. Possibly the best youth hostel i've had the pleasure of staying in

TTaotieqiongqiVery new, new facilities and environment, clean and fragrant with no odor. It has a projector screen, electric curtains, and the room is quiet and tidy. The customer service was very considerate; I arrived early during the day and left my luggage there, but when I returned in the evening, the room was already booked, and my luggage was still in the room. They even turned on the air conditioning for me, making the room warm and cozy. A very satisfying trip. I will definitely book again in the future.

Buffet breakfast although had a wide selection, the food quality was only average. The Chinese restaurant within the hotel however had very good food. Amenities like pool, table tennis and gym were great. There was also payable karaoke and mahjong rooms. Staffs were all amazing and helpful. Perfect place for a relaxing getaway.

GGuest UserOriginally a special room, I didn't expect the boss to be so enthusiastic and the service was meticulous. The boss looked like a very good person. The room was clean and hygienic, and when we left the store, we also baked flower cakes for us. It was very soft and fragrant. The first time I ate the freshly baked flower cakes, it was really delicious. This store is the most comfortable store I have stayed in this trip, thank you boss!

I regretted that I only arranged one day in Luoyang. I really don’t want to leave this hotel and this city. I haven’t had time to use the Hanfu experience coupons given by the hotel. 😭 Next time I come, I don’t have to choose, I will definitely stay here again!
Across the street is the Grand Canal Cultural Museum (I didn’t have time to visit it this time). On the night of check-in, we had a big meal at Guan Ji Shui Xi, which was recommended by the owner. The starting price of a taxi from the hotel to Lijingmen, the starting price of a taxi from Lijingmen to Yingtianmen, and the night view of Luoyang! So beautiful! We got off early the next day and walked out of the hotel to the Luo River, where we could watch the sunrise and enjoy the beautiful scenery!
The hotel's breakfast is a combination of Chinese and Western food with a rich variety. The only drawback is that there is no coffee. However, the hotel has its own coffee bar, and a cup of hand-ground American coffee at your own expense is also a good choice!

The accommodation is right in the old town, so the location is perfect. The rooms are very clean, spacious and equipped with everything you could wish for. The owner is always available for questions and tips and takes you straight to his heart. Anyone coming to Luoyang should not miss this hotel.
