"Most of the existing reviews are quite accurate… this hotel is for a short stay, for sleeping only and nothing else. The price is good but don’t expect too much for the 4-star rating. Amazing location. Not dirty but not the cleanest hotel ever. The staff are neutral. You can deposit the bags but in the bar (seemingly) without much supervision. If you are looking for a very comfortable and luxurious stay with your couple, i would pay more and go to other hotels. But, if you are not looking forward to spend much time in the hotel and experience the city to the fullest hours, this is quite a good choice."

"The room was nice, clean, and comfortable, and quite spacious for Rome. The breakfast was decent, with all the essentials. The location was also good, close to the metro and Termini Station. It was very convenient to get to the Vatican and the Colosseum directly by metro. The area around the station wasn't chaotic; I occasionally saw a homeless person, but it didn't affect pedestrians. There's also Venchi chocolate at Termini Station, and their gelato is delicious."

UNA Deco Roma delivers a warm, attentive atmosphere. The room was spacious, clean, and decorated in elegant Art-Deco style, complete with a comfy bed, desk, air conditioning, and reliable Wi-Fi. While the beds and overall comfort were a highlight, I did notice some minor maintenance issues—like erratic bathroom supply replenishment and average sound insulation in a few rooms. Still, these were manageable and didn't detract from the overall pleasant experience."

"A decent hotel in a good location, near the train station. Rome is honestly not that big, thus this was nearer to all the main attractions than I expected. The room's style seems a little old, but hey you're not going to be spending your time there (you'll be out on the streets), and its a comfortable and clean space to come back to each night. We also had a private patio access from our room which was lovely too"

"The room was a tad on the small side, comparable to some Japanese hotel rooms, but it was perfectly sufficient for two. If you're traveling with large luggage, fully opening suitcases might be a bit of a squeeze. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The hotel's location, right by the train station, is incredibly convenient for public transport. It's just a 5-minute walk to the hotel from the train station if you're arriving from the airport. Also, there's a delicious crispy pork panini place nearby. A little tip: the bread can be a bit tough, so you might consider just buying the pork filling and putting it in your own bread later!"

"Staff is super friendly and helpful, making a little bit of conversation and a laugh at every encounter. There was a strike from the metro and bus services on the day we were supposed to leave and they notified us early so that we could keep that in mind on our route towards the train station. Even offering to bring us if neccesairy. Room was super clean, breakfast is very complete for 10€ extra. All-in-all a great stay. They have a very nice outdoor garden/lounge area where you can buy a drink and sit peacefully too. Thanks for the great stay!"

"Stayed here for 2 nights, you get what you pay for but for me the location was.more important, the rooms are clean but old and dated however our room was huge with a nice balcony which was nice, the bathroom had a big shower as well. However the beds were not very comfortable, upon arriving in our room our bed wasn't made up, but once mentioned it was rectified very quickly. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, we felt very welcome and looked after. The only downside is that there isn't a readily available lift, so you need to use stairs (there is a lift they will let you use to bring your luggage up only) Also we were not aware until we got to the property that air conditioning was not included and we had to pay extra $5 euro per night, a bit unusual but as it was scorching hot we were happy to pay. The staff even let me store my bag there whilst I went to nice for a few days so I really appreciated their customer service. Big plus was it was close to a lot of things and Roma termini is within walking distance or a very short bus ride."

"I sprained my ankle before checking in, and the front desk staff were incredibly kind and helpful — they offered me a more accessible bed and even provided ice for my injury. The next day after check-out, I stayed in the lobby for the whole day to rest before my departure, and I truly appreciate their understanding and support. GGuest UserThe hotel is situated on a lively square. It is clean, appears newly renovated (in the rooms) and well maintained, with a reasonably attractive aesthetic. The accommodation is plain and simple: a bit student dorm-like with small rooms, but the room is pleasant, and clean, and the aircon actually works (unlike most in Italy). The lobby is staffed 24 hours a day (which is a plus), and the staff are helpful. The downsides are the small room size (oddly did not bother me) and the thin cheap doors. I chose to stay here rather than an airport hotel during a transit, and found the experience quite fun, being able to walk around Rome for a few hours overnight. ONE PROBLEM I would mention is that they are currently renovating the top 2 floors of the hotel (4 storeys) ... and it makes a lot of noise in the morning if you are trying to sleep after 8am. If you get out of the room before 8am, it probably won't bother you too much ... but if you like staying up late, I would find somewhere else to stay. Also, the hotel should warn guests of the problem, and they do not.

PPhillipsBenjaminWe stayed here for four nights in June of 2025. The location of the hotel is generally good for getting to some of the more noteworthy site (Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, etc.). There's a metro station around 8 minutes walk away, which opens up most of the rest of the city pretty well. We walked from here to the Vatican, which took around 35 minutes, but would be less than half that by cab. The surrounding area is great for clothing shops, but the food we found nearby was mostly so-so, and frequently over-priced tourist fare, though I'm sure if you walk a little farther from the hotel you can find some good options. The room itself was booked for a family of four, and was comfortable. The bathroom and shower had good water pressure, and the AC worked just fine. Some of the sheets were not quite clean, but we just didn't use the one we found slightly dirty. The beds were comfortable and a good size. The room and hotel have little to no facilities, so you're really just paying for room and the location. The exterior entrance is not well marked, and we actually walked past it on the street several times. If you're thinking of booking here, I'd recommend just looking for the GAP store which is directly across the street, much easier to find. Our interactions with the hotel staff were limited. We received a number of automated messages, some of which were contradictory, or had out of date information. After booking and paying for the room (a non-refundable booking) we were told there was an extra ”city tax” not included which would need to be paid before checking in which amounted to around an extra $90 or so, and the offered price of an airport transfer service went up as soon as we requested it (from 85 euros to 95). The hotel arranged the transfer service for us, but the driver left the airport before we could get out of the passport control due to another booking. The driver service showed up at the hotel at the time the flight was supposed to arrive, even though the flight was late, and you'd expect them to know that going through passport control takes easily an hour, so this seems to be quite poor planning on behalf of either the hotel or the service. We ended up taking a taxi from the airport which was also slightly over half the price of the transfer service, so I'd recommend skipping their service, it seems like a rip-off. Taxis from the airport to the city center seem to be subsidized by the government, and were a fixed price of 55 euros (for a normal size car big enough for 4 people) at the time we visited. The train from the airport is also not a bad idea if you're comfortable using the metro, as the train station is just 3-4 metro stops from the nearest metro station to the hotel (Spagna). Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but felt like we mostly paid for the location.

GGuest UserThe hotel has a convenient location, two steps from the Trevi Fountain. Overall, you can stay here for a couple of nights, but next time I'll look for something more comfortable. Cleanliness is mixed: on the one hand, the room was cleaned every day, bed linen and towels were changed, and the bathroom was well-cleaned. On the other hand, the carpet in the room is definitely unnecessary, why do they use it in hotels with high traffic? The carpet was poorly cleaned (or not cleaned at all) by the time we arrived, so we walked around the room exclusively in slippers. The bathroom was very stuffy, like a sauna, and we could not figure out how to deal with the air conditioning, it seemed that the bathroom was heated centrally. However, the air conditioning in the room itself did not work, but we did not contact them, since the nights were warm and we did not freeze. Yes, an important point! There is no soundproofing in the hotel at all, I woke up at night and early in the morning from footsteps in the hallway and someone's conversations.

Our room is good enough, two single beds put together and there was also an extra bed which we did not expect but all good. The bed and pillows are soft enough and the AC is cool enough for a hot summer in Rome. The amenities inside are basic but enough for our needs. Great for a quick 2 or 3 days in Rome and it is not expensive at all.
