Excellent location, 300m from the Spanish steps, 50m from all the evening restaurants & bars and 100m from the designer shops. Everything including the automated entry was easy, host was on hand on phone if any issues. Place was clean and well maintained & everything worked. Was the best value for money/location combination we could find on line and was happily impressed when we arrived. Would happily stay there again.

This suite hotel is actually a private apartment. It is fun because there is an old-fashioned elevator.
The location is near the Spanish steps and the nearest subway station is five or six minutes away.
The health is very general, the sheets have various yellow and black marks. Although it feels washed, it still can't be compared with the hotel. And although the sheets should be changed, but the bedding used is exposed outside, the bedding is simply wrapped in the cover, so you can see the obvious stains.
In addition, the water heater is estimated to be old enough, so there will be a hot and cold phenomenon when showering. After a while, the hot water will become cold. You need to turn off the faucet again, wait for a while before turning it on, and there will be hot water after a while. So during our two days stay, the weather was still a bit cold, especially at night. So it is easy to catch a cold in the bath.
In addition, the sewer is not particularly smooth, and because it is very old apartment, the taste is relatively large.
There are many oil paintings in the room, and there is a piano. I chose this hotel because of the reason on the picture. But these oil paintings are actually of very general quality, and the colors are particularly deep, and some are wrinkled. The piano is also seriously running, and it is estimated that there is no tone. My daughter wanted to play a piece for us on this piano, so I can forget it.
However, the owner or manager of the apartment is a more enthusiastic Italian, and you can add him to WeChat to contact various questions.
Opposite the apartment is a small Carrefour supermarket. Since the apartment cannot provide breakfast, our breakfast is basically right. Carrefour supermarket purchased.
Overall, more than 6,000 nights may not be as good as staying in a hotel. At least there is a lot of hygiene, and there will be no shower problem.

Great deal if you don’t want to spend a lot of money on hotels. Nerva is a mix of hotel, airbnb, and hostel. They take a floor in a building and transform into hotel. They have this central kitchen with fridge, coffee machine, and they offer you free of charge a small breakfast. The hotel is in front of a metro station.
Positive: good bed, cleanliness, air conditioning, location (central point in Rome), staff (Barbara and all the other ladies)
Could improve: pillow, shower cabin (we wet the whole bathroom each bath), coffee machine (broken).
To pay attention: some rooms can be noisy because of the streets (not a big deal for us), double check your door because is it’s key code and sometimes it doesn’t lock properly.

- Room: A traditional apartment was converted into three rooms, with a small kitchen and a common area for each room. Each room is different and the space is quite large. In fact, it is more like a shared apartment. The room should have been newly renovated not long ago, and the facilities are OK, but it is not very soundproof. However, many European hotels are not soundproof either, so there may be no way.
- Location: A love-hate location, very close to the train station, right next to it, but the streets are really messy and dirty, and there are hidden dangers of unsafe conditions. You need to be very calm and strong when going out.
- If you are passing by for a transfer, or don't mind the chaos in Europe and Africa, you can stay here. If you are on vacation and have a similar budget, it is best to choose other areas.
- In addition, the check-in time of this accommodation is 5 pm, which is later than ordinary hotels. Otherwise, there is an additional charge of 25 euros, and an additional cleaning fee of 100 euros. To be honest, this is a bit of a pitfall. Booking also has many homestays, but many do not have such charges. They are classified as hotels in Ctrip, so it is easy to ignore them.
- Checking in is also quite troublesome. You have to fill in a lot of information through Google sheet before check-in. It is not friendly to many people who cannot use it and it feels informal.

Friends with overweight suitcases, please note that this hotel has no elevator, but you can ask the front desk to help with the luggage. There is a bearded male front desk staff with a very bad service attitude. He did not respond when we said goodnight to him, and he did not greet us when we entered and exited the hotel. He deliberately turned his head away when he saw us passing by. The sound insulation of the room is very poor. There are intermittent vibration sounds every night, which can be heard all night, which greatly affects rest. And you can clearly hear the sound of others talking on the phone at the door of the room. The assigned room is also next to the staff room, and you can hear the movement next door early in the morning. Friends who need a quiet sleep, please do not book this hotel. The lady in charge of breakfast does not speak English very well, but she is very enthusiastic. Later, a younger male front desk was replaced, and the service attitude was not bad. The hotel is close to the Colosseum and can be reached in a five-minute walk.

I have travelled in Italy extensively and must say that staying at the Domus 21 was the best hotel experience I have had. The location is fantastic with spacious and clean room. Most importantly, the staff are so professional and kind to make sure their guests are taken care of properly. I was scammed by a taxi driver outside the hotel. Fortunately, a hotel staff member passed by and recognised me (it was my 2nd staying). He immediately stepped in to resolve the issue for me. I highly recommend Domus 21!!

In general, everything is good: clean, quiet, the Colosseum, restaurants, grocery stores, and the train station are nearby.
If the room, like ours, is near the reception, it can be noisy from 8am.
The walls between the rooms are very thin - you can hear people washing.
They also start cleaning early, so hang a sign so that they don't disturb you.
You can leave your things after check-out (which is at 10:30, which is inconvenient), take a walk, and then pick them up before leaving for the airport.

It is located very close to Termini Station, so it is very convenient for walking and using public transportation.
It is a bit noisy as there are restaurants and trams passing by, so it is not recommended for those who are sensitive to surrounding noise.
Other than that, it's overall clean, the staff are friendly, and the location is great, so I'll choose it again the next time I visit Rome.

The hotel is conveniently located, near the Termini station and not far from the sights. There are many cafes nearby where you can eat deliciously. The room is small but cozy, the bathroom has all the amenities. There is a shared kitchen where there is a coffee machine and you can make coffee. In the morning, fresh pastries are left on the door handle, there is yogurt in the refrigerator. I liked everything. Thank you. I recommend it.

TThe Black Asian JaThis hotel is very compact but they maximized on the actual accommodation space. My room was on another building and the receptionist who was very sweet, gave me a tutorial with the keys and elevator. If you're not as familiar with Europe as I am, this was am absolutely necessary step. Once I was in, the room was spacious, clean, nicely decorated and comfortable. The bathroom was just as nice. Sitting on the Tiber river, from the hotel, you get a nice view of the river and street below. The room was also surprisingly very quiet as I was unable to hear any traffic once the windows were closed. Breakfast was served in my room at precisely the requested time on my first morning which was tasty and wholesome and for my second morning, I needed to go to the breakfast station on the main building... which was okay. The location is 10 to 15 minutes walk from most of the sites and about 30 to 35 minutes walk from the colessuem. I felt quite safe while walking but still vigilant of course and the reception also gave me a map, showed me how to use and and educated me on the best routes to take to maximize my time. All in all, great room, service and location. I would highly recommend.
For improvements though, they could give their guest an oral care set and bed slippers as with many hotels I stayed at on this trip

Directions were easy to follow but you must know English. The room was nice and clean. Bed was hard which I like. There weren’t any blankets (just thin sheet) which was fine since it was during a heatwave.The pillow options were good. The bathroom was big with fancy lighting options. The air conditioning was strong. Only the internet didn’t work and it was difficult to go out of the gate. However, I called the hotel and they were patient in helping me immediately. For one night, it was a pleasant stay. The area around the hotel is quite dirty, but it is also directly across from Tiburtina station. There are only two hotels this close, the other being Adesso hotel.

GGuest UserThe room is good. It is spacious and the balcony is nice. The building is a bit old, as is the case in Rome. The service is great. I received friendly service and a simple but good breakfast. The location is a bit far from the center, but it was close to the number 8 bus route, so it was not a problem.

PPeggyAs others have mentioned in previous reviews, this place was difficult to find. There were no signs with the hotel name anywhere and we had to ask a local store owner to help us. It was more of an Airbnb apt rather than a hotel, as it was located in a building. I appreciated the welcome snacks we had in our room when we checked in, but the “complimentary breakfast” we paid for was only a croissant and coffee. We were better off getting breakfast from an outside café. The WIFI was great. The bedroom and bathroom were clean. There was a fridge in the room and the TV had airplay, which we used to screen mirror from our phone. I was a bit disappointed that they couldn’t’ fulfill our anniversary request of a note wishing us a happy anniversary, but it was a decent stay overall.

Firstly, the location is great. You can walk to main scenes for around 20 minutes( except Vatican, 40minutes). And the taxi fee from Termini to hotel is 10 euros. Besides, you can take taxi conveniently because there is a taxi station nearby(around 100 meters).
Secondly, the “check in” session is not convenient for guests who book this hotel for just several days ago. Because there is not a email with guides and you have to explore everything by yourself.
The hotel is in a building, which also contains other hotels. It’s just close to Timberland and Apple store. And you can’t open the gate because it needs a key. Luckily, we met a person who lives there and he let us in.
Then you should take the elevator to 5th floor and walk downstairs for a half floor. Now you will find that you don’t have the password to get in. We knocked the door but nobody answered. So we made a phone call and sent our information by sms. And finally, later an employee came out. She is a good person and it seems like that she also does housekeeping. Thus she may not hear our knocking.
The room has a beautiful view. But you can hear car horn. There were no free water, slippers or toothbrush. You need to prepare by yourself. And the bath pipe was broken and it leaked a lot of water. Also we couldn’t find the switch for exhausting fan in restroom.
That is what I experienced in this hotel. Overall the hotel is fine. Hope my experience can help more people~

L'emplacement est parfait même enceinte tout se fait à pieds avec de bonnes chaussures ! Attention au bruit car il y a un restaurant en bas de la chambre + un burger au coin de la rue qui ramène les jeunes + ramassage des poubelles dans la nuit donc prévoyez les bouchons d'oreilles ! LITERIE pas dingue malheureusement...... matelas mou, pas d'alése, oreillers jaunies, taies doreiller et draps avec quelques taches (je prend toujours mes taies en voyage!) et couvertures fines. Un peu frais dans la chambre mais avec la climatisation réversible il y a le chauffage donc ça va mais pas de chauffage dans la salle de bain... réactivité du personnel au top pour demander des adresses et nous avons eu un problème d'eau chaude qu'ils ont réglé le lendemain matin !

GGuest UserAfter I booked I read all the negative reviews on google and was really nervous. To my surprise, though, it was really pleasant! It is perfectly located near the Vatican and close to many restaurants. The Shuttle to the airport leaves right down the street. The room was very clean and tidy. There were no bedbugs and no stink. The TV had many channels, the AC worked fine in the hot summer days and the room was cleaned daily. The towels were changed every second day, but that was fine for me. I don't change my towel every day at home. It is better for the environment anyway. There is no reception, but we called and in no time the person was there to give us the keys. I would definately stay again.

GGuest UserWe were very happy with the room and it felt safe and secure, and it was really close to Rome Termini. Also within easy reach of the main tourist sites. The apartment was really well fitted out and clearly it has been recently refurbished. Shower and shower room were good. There were a few things that would have made our stay better - all little details. There was no tea towel; no mugs for a cup of tea despite there being a kettle; the kitchen drawer wouldn’t open as it had been fitted too close to the front door - you had to open the front door to get it open. The small table lamp didn’t work so we only had one main light; there was no number on the front door but we worked it out. Addressing these would turn a good experience in to a great experience.
