Hotel Champagne Palace

The hotel's hygiene is really concerning. The carpets and curtains are thick, and there are many hidden spots that aren't cleaned. There were bed bugs in the room, and I got bitten by mosquitoes. I went to bed at 12:30 AM after washing up and woke up at 5 AM to find over 20 bites all over me. They were red, swollen, burning, and incredibly itchy. Even after applying ointment daily, it didn't help. This is truly terrible. I sincerely advise everyone to stay far away from this hotel!!! After I was bitten, I reported it to the hotel, but their attitude was tough and unpleasant. They refused to admit anything, shirked responsibility, and showed no accountability. They weren't even apologetic. Even after multiple attempts by the platform to communicate with the hotel, there was no resolution. Typical cold and unfeeling European indifference. Facilities: They're just okay. The lobby is on the second floor, and you have to carry your luggage up and down yourself because there's no elevator to the lobby. It's very inconvenient and not user-friendly. There were no toiletries whatsoever, and no refrigerator. This is my painful personal experience, and I'm warning everyone again. Be cautious and avoid this place!!!

The room was quite small. As it's near the train station, the surrounding area felt a bit chaotic and the streets had an unpleasant smell. We arrived early in the morning and were able to store our luggage. There was also a small room where we could sit and wait, and they even provided a water cooler. For this price and location, I guess you can't really ask for more. It was very convenient to visit the Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps during the day and take the subway to see the night views.

The room had a musty smell. I mainly chose it because it's close to the train station and cheap, so I just put up with it for one night. The front desk can store luggage, but you have to carry your suitcase up a flight of stairs to get there.
