My favorite hotel on this business trip, I linger on, making the trip to Italy a perfect ending

Hotel location is good, service is OK (at least I have encountered very good), although the room is small, but it is also exquisite, clean

This is my second time staying at this hotel. The warm welcome from the staff made me very happy. The room was very clean, and there were welcome chocolates and a capsule coffee machine. It's also very convenient to go to the wishing well and the city center.

The attitude of the five-star hotel I have ever stayed in is the worst. The hotel service staff at the door never pulls the door to the guests (it is not only us to observe), the chat content is full of impolite and swear words 🤬, the quality is amazing, the attitude is speechless, impolite, Not thoughtful, not service, do not know their work content and work attitude. Is it the Sofitel Sofitel in Italy 🇮🇹 that does not employ qualified personnel? Or is the company not responsible for employee training? Or is the company's salary dissatisfied? I had a wonderful three days at the InterContinental Rome. Every afternoon, I enjoyed sipping Da Hong Pao tea on the balcony while gazing at the street view! The restaurant manager and the waiter from Bangladesh who attended Hunan University of Science and Technology for their undergraduate degree, as well as the lovely young lady at the front desk who studied in Suzhou, were particularly outstanding. It wasn't just their ability to speak Chinese that made them stand out; it was their genuine warmth and hospitality that made me feel right at home!

Everything was great! A solid five stars, with just one small drawback. But I'll start with the positives – the location is top-notch! I only took the metro to the Vatican and the bus back. It's a 15-20 minute walk from Termini, and about the same to the Spanish Steps, Trevi, and the Colosseum. Everything is within walking distance. Inside the apartment, the most important thing for me was the cleanliness! And what's unusual for Rome – lots of space, high ceilings, and a large bed. Everything inside is well thought out, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The downside was the noise. The neighbors arrived at midnight, and I was already asleep. They were talking loudly, flushing the toilet, and it was all very audible. I messaged the host, and she spoke to them, and it was much quieter on the second day 🙏

I often stay at Marriott hotels, so I made a reservation this time as well. The room was very spacious, and the bath and toilet were very clean. The breakfast was also delicious, and the location is only a 10-minute walk from the downtown area, so I highly recommend it!

Excellent location, very friendly staff, and a beautiful, well-equipped room. I'd definitely choose this place again without hesitation.

The hotel is located on the outskirts of central Rome, a 40-minute walk from the Colosseum and 16 minutes from Termini. Nearby are many cafes, pizzerias, a Pam Local grocery store, and a fruit and vegetable stand. A delicious Romana ice cream parlor (open since 1947) is a 7-minute walk away. The cleaning service was daily. Welcome croissants awaited us upon arrival. A coffee machine with capsules, gingerbread cookies, cups, and knives (no spoons or forks) were always available in the kitchen. Cons: weak hot water pressure, damp room (we stayed at the end of January). If it weren't for the air conditioning, which we turned on at 30 degrees Celsius overnight, our clothes wouldn't have had time to dry after the rain. The city tax information on trip.com is incorrect: it is based on €6 per person per night. In reality, we had to pay 7 euros per person per night.
