"We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Andu! A beautiful hotel in a very central location. Through a small entrance you reach the second floor, where you find a peaceful oasis of calm.
Beautiful, quiet rooms with a very comfortable bed, a great shower and a fridge stocked with water and soft drinks. The breakfast was also well taken care of.
What really made the difference was the service: extremely friendly and helpful staff, including assistance with arranging transport. Highly recommended!"

"I absolutely loved the ambiance, from the building's exterior downstairs all the way to the elevator lobby and even inside the elevator itself – the decor was fantastic! The room also had a very retro feel, exactly like the pictures. My budget was a bit tight this trip, but next time I'm in Suzhou, I'll definitely stay here again. I'd love to try a different room or even one of their suites. The front desk staff, particularly Xiao Wang, provided excellent service, and the cleaning staff were super too!
Yesterday, we were shooting wedding photos until past midnight and didn't finish, so of course, I couldn't wake up this morning. Then I still got up, put on makeup, and went to Humble Administrator's Garden for lunch. I ended up coming back late, past the 2 PM check-out time. I arrived back at the room around 1:50 PM, but the door wouldn't open. I happened to run into one of the cleaning staff and asked what was wrong. They explained that my room card had expired, which was why it wouldn't open, and then helped me get the door open. I quickly packed my luggage and ended up checking out around 2:10 PM. It was truly amazing, amazing, amazing! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻"

"This hotel exceeded our expectations. The location is just as convenient – steps from the metro station. The property is a little older, but still very clean and comfortable. For the price per night, it's great value.
The service was the standout. Front desk staff helped us book a Didi when we were struggling with the app. On checkout, they gave us three small packs of local snacks as a parting gift, which was such a warm touch.
One small note: The breakfast buffet leans heavily local, with fewer international options compared to other Hamptons we have stayed at in China. Still tasty, but if you prefer a wider spread, this might feel a bit limited.
Overall, a wonderful stay."

Wwl****The location is fantastic, right inside the ancient town. You can get in for free after 5 PM. Plus, after breakfast the next day, you can tour Shen Hall and Zhang Hall for free. The value for money is just incredible! They even provide a bath kit in the room, which is a really thoughtful touch. Big thumbs up, highly recommend!

XXiaohuadidiThe hotel environment is great, and the rooms have just been renovated but there's no unpleasant smell. The service is excellent! I'd especially like to thank Tingting at the front desk, Wang Zhi from housekeeping for the beautiful flowers, Xiaoyun at the kids' club for helping me find my baby's water bottle, and Wu Dan for the generous fruit delivery. Overall, the service was fantastic! [smiley faces] It's also very suitable for children, as they can feed koi, bunnies, black swans, and ducklings. The children's play facilities are also abundant.

From the car park to the elevator, from the lobby to the restaurant, and from the restaurant to the lakeside promenade, wheelchairs can move around smoothly. The back door, which connects to the lakeside promenade, has a gentle ramp instead of steps. The elevator doors are wide enough for wheelchair access, and the buttons are set at a lower height. Restaurant tables and chairs are movable, allowing wheelchairs to pull right up to them. The balcony doors in the rooms are also threshold-free sliding doors. GGuest UserMy trip to Suzhou was fantastic, and this hotel was a delightful surprise! I honestly expected something pretty standard for a little over 300 RMB during the busy May Day holiday, but the service felt five-star in every aspect. They offer free Qipao experiences daily, and I loved wearing one to take photos at nearby attractions – it really set the mood. The room was spotlessly clean, and the front desk lady was incredibly warm, attentive, and had such a pleasant voice. She even treated us to complimentary breakfast for two. Speaking of breakfast, it was excellent and we were very impressed. The hotel's location is truly prime, right on Guanqian Street, making it incredibly convenient to get to all the sights. In the evenings, it was lovely to stroll along Guanqian Street and shop for local specialties. Oh, and the famous Manhao Pavilion baozi (steamed buns) in Suzhou are right next door, literally a two-minute walk! We loved them so much that we bought 32 baozi from Manhao Pavilion at the end of our trip and brought them back on the high-speed train. All in all, my Suzhou trip was perfect!

Plus, Metro Line 6 goes directly to Tiger Hill – extremely convenient! The hotel itself features traditional Suzhou-style architecture, making for a wonderful travel and stay experience. If you're driving, you can contact the hotel in advance, and they'll guide you to drive into their spacious courtyard for parking.

XXingfubingCame to Suzhou for a concert during the May Day holiday and brought the kids and my parents along for a trip. The hotel is just a few steps from the subway station. You need to transfer to get to the Olympic Sports Center, but it's very convenient, only about three stops in total. The three-bedroom suite we booked this time was perfect for a large family like ours. It also has three bathrooms and a large double-door refrigerator. However, someone had put durian in the fridge before, and it smelled awful, making it unusable for us. I hope the hotel can do a better job with cleaning and deodorizing! There's an oven, microwave, and induction hob, but no pots or pans were provided. Does that mean they expect guests to cook or not? We didn't need to cook, but it just felt a bit confusing. There are restaurants and convenience stores right across from the hotel.

1110153****A clean and affordable hot spring hotel with few guests. The service attitude was genuinely excellent – friendly, attentive, and patient. The hot springs were also good; the key is that there weren't many people, making for a very relaxing soak. Soaking in the winter is truly comfortable. We were warm and toasty, and it wasn't cold at all walking back from the outdoor pools.
The breakfast was abundant with plenty of choices.
However, a few complaints: The family room was advertised to have a sofa bed, but it was very small, only suitable for a child. Once unfolded, half was a hardboard and half a soft cushion, making it very uncomfortable to sleep on. The shampoo and body wash provided for showering at the hot springs were quite low-quality, and there was no conditioner. Also, the changing room air conditioning was insufficient, so it was quite cold while changing clothes.

It was amazing to have the room’s windowoverlook Pingjiang street and the canal. There are plenty of food and drinks options right outside the hotel and a short walk away. Great hotel to stay if you enjoy the traditional atmosphere of Suzhou.
