XXuguangrongjingThe first time I stayed in a backpacking hotel for ten years, this store is near Shilu subway station and the location is easy to find. After entering, the lobby is very open, the style is trendy and cool, and the window view is amazing! You can see the Beisi Tower Oriental Gate Suzhou Railway Station in the lobby, and my room can even see Tiger Hill, which is great! The location of the lobby rest area is also very good (friendly reminder, there is also a small window view table for resting near the room area, which I didn’t find when I went there on the first day).
After checking in, the young lady guided carefully, the appearance of the room area was clean and tidy, and the decoration was comfortable. It felt good after entering my room. First of all, I don’t have to put on a three-piece suit here! It saves a lot of effort and time. Secondly, the bed space is large enough for me, and there are four hooks to hang things. Moreover, there is no squeaking sound when stepping on the stairs to the upper bunk, which is great, thumbs up!
The toilet here is also very good, not only providing seat paper, but also disinfectant alcohol in it! Very careful. I think the boss really considers the various needs of all residents. The shower room is spacious enough. It is worth mentioning that there is a small plastic curtain on the side of the hook on the door that can be pulled up to protect the hanging clothes from getting wet. There are separate washing and drying spaces for washing and drying clothes. The front desk provides laundry beads (it should be free, I didn't ask)
There are some other details that make me feel great
For example, the front desk provides earplugs,
For example, there are photographs of all over the world hanging in the corridor of the room, and you can see a small art exhibition when walking in the corridor,
For example, this youth hostel provides four hair dryers (the two youth hostels I stayed in before only had one or two),
For example, the corridors of the accommodation area are all carpeted, and there will be no sound when someone passes by (I could clearly hear people walking outside in other youth hostels before),
For example, there is an activity group here (the two youth hostels I stayed in before didn't have one),
For example, I saw an older aunt living here (some youth hostels don't allow people over 40 to stay, I think youth hostels that can accommodate people of all ages are more inclusive)
For example, I don't know why I feel that the doors of the rooms here (including the bathroom 🚾) are of good quality
……
From such details, you can feel the unity of the tone of this youth hostel and the attentiveness of the owner.
In summary, although the price of this youth hostel is a bit expensive, I personally think it is worth it and it is great. I hope that such service can continue, and the backpacker has been getting better and better for ten years (but I may not stay there next time because I feel that the style here is trendy and cool, I like the simpler ones, and I am not a social expert, so I don’t need that much activities).
Ps: On the first night, I accidentally saw the red book posted by the backpacker owner! This red book also shows that the owner empathizes with our youth hostel guests, especially the first to fifth points in the content, which are really my pain points (the latter points are also great, but I care more about the first five points)! I feel that staying here is also a process of learning how to work and be a person more attentively, thank you 😊
Finally, a small suggestion: It would be better if there were sockets for charging mobile phones on the seats by the window in the lobby (I didn’t pay attention to whether there were sockets in other places), so that guests waiting in the store can have a place to charge, and tourists coming back from outside can also charge for a while when they rest.
