WWaizuixiaodouThe hotel's location is in the core area of Pingjiang Road, and it's also very close to the Couple's Retreat Garden, within walking distance. It's a quiet oasis amidst the bustling crowds; while outside is swarming with people, the hotel itself is incredibly peaceful. The complimentary Pingtan (storytelling and ballad singing) performance was very professional, featuring both performance and commentary, along with tea and small snacks. The atmosphere was fantastic. Right behind the hotel is the Kunqu Opera Museum, but we went to the Zhuangyuan Mansion to listen to Kunqu in the evening, which wasn't far either, just a short walk. A major advantage of this hotel is its incredible convenience for sightseeing. You can truly experience the prosperity and charm of Pingjiang Road, and when you're tired, you can just return to the hotel to rest, then head back out to explore after recharging. There are many delicious eateries downstairs… It's very convenient for traveling with seniors and children.
If I had to point out a downside, it's that the location is too central, making it difficult to get a taxi. We had a lot of luggage and had to push it through the crowds for about 500 meters to the main road before we could hail a taxi. It also felt like taxi drivers were reluctant to come to that area, probably because of the sheer number of people and traffic congestion. However, I noticed that the subway station is about the same distance (we saw the subway station not long after getting a taxi). For those traveling light or with backpacks, taking the subway would be more convenient.

The hotel is very new, with all the facilities in prime condition. The decor is aesthetically pleasing, making both the public areas and the rooms very comfortable and exceptionally well-designed.
The lobby bar is also great, offering a very relaxing atmosphere, and there's a wide selection of welcome drinks.
Breakfast is good too, featuring local specialties and offering excellent value for money.
The service is also top-notch; Suzhou truly excels in this regard.
Definitely a hotel worth revisiting!

HHutongxuehydAbsolutely fantastic! The room completely exceeded our expectations when we walked in. It was very clean, beautifully decorated, and the guesthouse itself had a wonderful ambiance. It's right in the heart of the Pingjiang Historic Block, yet the soundproofing is excellent, so it's not noisy at all. The little terrace was a real highlight! We'll definitely stay here again next time we visit!

YYangloubiI was pleasantly surprised to discover this unique, niche hotel.
The space is incredibly well-designed. The room had a cozy, enveloping feel that made me feel very secure. As for the public areas, they were absolutely stunning – every corner was picture-perfect and exuded a relaxed vibe.
The breakfast was semi-buffet style, and the variety catered to everyone, from children to seniors, and even those with diabetes (they had steamed sweet potatoes and corn). Both Western and Chinese options were available. My favorites were the curry with naan and the Eggs Benedict – truly delicious! The tableware was also exquisite, making it easy to snap great photos.
The coffee was better than what you'd find at many five-star hotels. The only slight downside was that the baristas didn't seem to do latte art (but that's not a big deal).
There was an ample supply of tissues in the room, and their quality was excellent, comparable to high-end brands like Tempo. (+1 point)
The bath amenities had a pleasant scent, almost like a subtle, youthful body fragrance. (+2 points)
The lighting was set to be very warm and inviting, neither harsh nor too dim. (+3 points)
The bedding was excellent, and the pillows were soft. It was very quiet at night. (+4 points)
They provided a Laifen hairdryer, and the toilet seat was heated, with disposable toilet seat covers provided daily. (+5 points)
There were four bottles of water in the room, two of which were Voss. (+6, +7, +8 points)
The hotel has its own laundry room with two washers and two dryers, accessible from the coffee shop. The drinks at this coffee shop were delicious and Instagram-worthy. I didn't try the cakes, but they all looked incredibly tempting.
The staff uniforms were very stylish. They weren't obsequious but full of vitality and youthful energy, which naturally uplifted my mood. There's also a free parking lot within a 5-minute walk to the hotel.
Upon checkout, they gave us bread as a gift. The highlight was that this bread was incredibly tasty, and even the packaging was beautiful, demonstrating great attention to emotional value.
My only minor complaint is that the staff training wasn't entirely polished. They were very cautious and eager to please guests, but they still lacked some practical experience. However, given their pleasant appearances, I'm willing to be understanding.

The service was also incredibly attentive; the owner tried their best to accommodate all our requests. Highly recommend! And since it wasn't peak season, the room rate was quite reasonable too.

Cleanliness: The cleanliness was good.
Environment: There were many people during the holiday exhibition, and parking was not very friendly. Some security personnel outside might have misguided us, making us go in circles just to save themselves trouble, when in fact, we only needed to queue. However, the hotel staff had a very good service attitude and were good at reassuring guests.
Service: The hotel staff provided excellent service, check-in was prompt, procedures were quick, and there were small gifts.
The hotel offers a great view and is conveniently located within walking distance to the scenic area. The scenic area itself has a pleasant environment, and the overall quality of tourists is high.

GGuest UserThe hotel is conveniently located directly across the street from Exit 3 of Nanyuan North Road Metro Station, making it easy to hail a taxi. Food delivery is also convenient, with a robot delivering orders directly to your door. The overall decor is very refreshing.
You can walk to the Master of the Nets Garden through charming alleyways. If you're visiting at night, be aware that some parts of the return route may be unlit and quite secluded.
The front desk upgraded my room, which was spacious and clean. It had a desk, a small sofa, and a coffee table, providing ample space for dining and working. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom had good water pressure.
The hairdryer is a Laifen, and the Bluetooth speaker is a JBL, both brand new. There's also a garment steamer.
The restaurant's offerings are decent, and the prices are reasonable.
Overall, it was a very pleasant stay.

GGuest UserThe hotel is right on Pingjiang Road. The entrance isn't very obvious, making it a bit hard to find. However, the concierge proactively called us beforehand with the hotel's location and even came out to help with our luggage, which was great. The decor is clearly a thoughtfully designed Republican-era style. The room was spotlessly clean. I initially thought it would be noisy since it's by the road, but they've installed double-paned windows, making it incredibly quiet. The staff were always proactive and helpful with anything we needed, which I was very impressed with. The lobby decor is also quite interesting, and the night view is beautiful. We walked to Humble Administrator's Garden and Lion Grove Garden during the day, which was very convenient. If we have the chance to visit again, we'll definitely choose this place. We originally booked a Republican-style king room, but we really wanted a river view, so the concierge temporarily switched us to a standard room overlooking the river since there were no river-view king rooms available. Highly recommended!
