My stay at Raffles Hainan in Lingshui Clear Water Bay was absolutely fantastic, truly a five-star experience that exceeded all expectations! The hotel's Southeast Asian colonial estate style creates an incredible ambiance, surrounded by swaying coconut groves and lush greenery. The private 'singing' beach boasts incredibly soft, fine sand, and the lighthouse sea views are picture-perfect, making every shot Instagram-worthy. It's the ultimate place for a relaxing vacation 🌊.
The room was spacious, spotless, and well-maintained with excellent facilities. The view was absolutely stunning, perfect for watching the sunrise over the ocean in the morning and breathtaking sunsets in the evening – so incredibly therapeutic. The dining options were extensive and diverse, offering a wide array of Chinese, Western, and local specialties. Breakfast quality was top-notch, and the flavors were perfectly to my liking.
I especially want to thank Chloe; her service was attentive, thoughtful, meticulous, and professional throughout my stay. She promptly addressed every request and patiently resolved any issues. Her incredibly warm service truly showed genuine care and dedication.
Overall, my stay was impeccable. This is undoubtedly the top hotel choice for a Clear Water Bay getaway, and it's already on my list for my next visit. I highly recommend it to everyone!
Small suggestion: Some of the hotel facilities have been in use for a while; periodic upgrades and optimization of the details would surely make the experience even more perfect.

Lingshui Narada Resort is absolutely a hidden gem tucked away in Xiangshui Bay, offering an escape from the world.
The hotel consists entirely of private courtyard villas, enveloped by elegant Chinese garden landscapes, ensuring maximum privacy 🌿. All room types come with a private pool and a Jacuzzi, spacious and comfortable, making the vacation vibe truly divine. It boasts its own private ecological beach, which is uncrowded and clean, with crystal-clear waters. The day we were there, we happened to witness the breathtaking scene of 'the moon rising from the sea' – a perfectly round, red moon. The infinity pool directly overlooks the ocean and sky, making for amazing photos with an incredibly atmospheric feel!
The service is incredibly thoughtful. Check-in was efficient and smooth, and there's a dedicated shuttle service available anytime. Upon arrival, we received welcome fruits, and the mini-bar drinks are complimentary daily. Kids' toiletries are provided, and room service is available. The warm and meticulous details truly stand out. They even offer complimentary travel photography to capture the beautiful scenery, including photos at the Sea Castle. The photography experience was quite good; if you're not good at taking pictures, don't worry, you can confidently leave it to them, and the price is reasonable.
The dining is also a huge plus! The breakfast buffet combines Chinese and Western options, with Hainan noodles, freshly made pastries, and fresh fruits all available. You can even make your own Qingbuliang (Hainan dessert soup). The Chinese restaurant's Hangzhou cuisine and local specialties are authentic and flavorful, with fresh ingredients that appeal to all ages. I absolutely loved even a simple stir-fried water spinach! Additionally, there are plenty of activities like kayaking, a kids' club, SPA, and you can also ride bicycles around. In the evening, the hotel even arranged a crabbing activity for the kids on the beach 🦀, and they caught so many! The kids had a fantastic time! It's perfect for family trips and couples' getaways!
The overall experience exceeded expectations. The environment, room types, service, and food are all top-notch. It's already on my 'must-revisit' list and I sincerely recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy a leisurely island getaway in Lingshui! 💯

MmingI chose this hotel because of the wide array of beach and sea activities it offers. The room was incredibly spacious, and the butler service was exceptional. I have no idea how our butler, Linda, managed to be available 24/7; even when I requested a car to the beach early in the morning, someone was always there to respond. The hotel has a high occupancy rate, so I recommend avoiding peak hours for breakfast.
The Thai restaurant felt like neither the chef nor the staff had ever been to Thailand. It served a 'modified' version of Thai food that wasn't very authentic, with very mild spice flavors. However, the grilled fish and grilled chicken were excellent, and the coconut jelly dessert was delicious. The curry chicken and spicy stir-fried morning glory could use some improvement.
The Chinese restaurant, on the other hand, was very good, with tender and flavorful chicken and fish. The breakfast buffet was extensive and delicious, with a 'beef noodle freedom' concept allowing you to add as much beef as you like, and the oatmeal was also great. The staff consistently refilled dishes, ensuring that nothing was empty regardless of how many people were dining. The hotel grounds are vast, with many activities on offer, so much so that I didn't even have time to try them all. It was a shame that we couldn't go sailing due to the strong winds and rough waves near the shore.
I feel that Park Hyatt might offer better beach management and privacy. Overall, the best aspects of the hotel experience were definitely the butler service and the abundant beach activities.

To eat seafood, we have to go to Xincun Pier. It takes nearly 2 hours to drive there and back. We have dinner and go out at 6 o’clock, and come back at 10 o’clock.

If you can eat well, you can't expect it if you stay here. If you don't have enough, you can't eat well. You have to go out for lunch. HHammer88What can I say about this place. The staff were so kind and welcoming. The staff at this location made everything better. The location is a nice break away from the hectic. The beach at your footstep and a nice shaded area by the pool. Did I mention the staff? So wonderful and went beyond what was needed or asked for. I will always remember my short stay there and recommend this hotel.. the only complaint and it’s not about the hotel but on the island is the lack of smoking regulations. People smoke everywhere, restaurants, the washrooms.. everywhere. I really do hope that changes. Again my thanks to the staff at this location

Given that, I won't even bother reviewing the service or the product itself. Pros: If you're coming to Boundary Island, this is a great deal. You can catch both sunrise and sunset, and it only takes about two hours to walk around the entire island without getting tired. It's quiet at night, and the scenery is genuinely beautiful. Cons: The room facilities definitely have issues. The bathroom door wouldn't close, the shower leaked, and the sheets and bedding felt a bit damp.
P.S. I wouldn't recommend any of the recommended activities on the island.

The fruit is really delicious and not expensive. Although the seafood is not cheap, it is fresh. The villa is not far from the beach. It takes about 10 minutes to walk. There is a coconut forest next to it for photography, which is also very beautiful. It is worth mentioning that we agreed to have a safety seat before we went, but we did not communicate with the housekeeper when we delivered the car on the day.
