"Our experience at Capella Sanya was simply amazing, with incredibly thoughtful and attentive service. A special thanks goes to Fiona, our 'Culturalist,' who went above and beyond by delivering drinks and desserts to our room daily – a truly heartwarming gesture. The breakfast was a definite highlight, offering authentic Baoluo noodles, a wide variety of steamed dim sum, and freshly squeezed juices to kickstart our day. However, a minor drawback was the weak air conditioning in the breakfast restaurant. Dining in Sanya's intense heat meant sweating quite a bit, and we hope the hotel addresses this soon. The guest rooms, starting at 88 square meters, were spacious and airy, with powerful air conditioning that quickly provided a refreshing escape from the outdoor heat. The buggy service was prompt and responsive, always available when called. The in-room mini-bar, stocked with complimentary drinks and snacks, was a generous touch. The daily complimentary afternoon tea from 3 to 4 PM, as well as the free-flow white wine, red wine, sparkling wine, and peanuts served at the bar from 8 to 9 PM, added to the overall vacation enjoyment. I have two suggestions for improvement: First, the breakfast restaurant urgently needs stronger air conditioning. Second, the disposable beach slippers provided in the rooms were not very comfortable; I hope they can be replaced with more durable and comfortable options. These minor issues aside, the overall experience was nearly perfect, and I'm confident that with these details refined, the hotel will reach even greater heights."

"1. The room is definitely the highlight of this hotel. It features a modern Italian design, and the blue luxury stone tabletop is particularly unique. The room comes with excellent amenities and facilities. The toiletries seem to be the hotel's own brand. Additionally, extras like a Dyson hairdryer, a built-in bidet toilet (rather than just an add-on seat), and extra mouthwash ensure that even a standard room offers some of the best hardware experiences in all of Hainan right now. 2. The hotel's breakfast was decent. There was a good variety of Western options, but fewer Chinese dishes. We all agreed that the special blend drink, 'Coconut Grove Fragrance,' and the Baoluo noodles with fermented vinegar were the best items. The fact that breakfast is served until 12 PM is a must-have for a resort hotel and definitely deserves praise. However, many of the pastries and breads became soft and unappetizing after 11 AM. 3. The hotel offers a butler service who contacts you in advance. If you answer the secret code correctly, you get a complimentary gift. They're good at fulfilling personalized requests, which was a big plus. Our butler, Winnie, met all our personalized needs, providing great convenience and emotional value. Furthermore, about 70% of the staff I encountered actively greeted guests, and roughly 20% were warm and smiling. It would be a significant improvement if service could shift from reactive to proactive. Of course, these issues aren't exclusive to Kimpton; they're common in many five-star and ultra-luxury hotels in China, and there's still much room for improvement compared to neighboring Southeast Asian countries. 4. The public areas aren't particularly large overall, but they have everything you need. The lawn is well-maintained, and the pool is relatively clean. There's also a gym, experiential activities, a children's play area, travel photography services, an internet café, and more. I tried a few of the experiences, like the luxurious internet café, which was quite good, but the prices were significantly higher than outside, making them not very cost-effective. 5. The hotel is about a 5-minute drive from the county town and approximately a 27-30 minute drive from Sanya Haitang Bay Duty-Free City. 6. Compared to other hotels in Hainan in the 2000+ price range, this hotel achieves a good overall balance in terms of rooms, service, dining, public area design, maintenance,配套 experiential offerings, and price. Versus many hotels that have been open for over ten years, its newness is a major advantage, not just in hardware, but also in its aesthetic, experience, and ambiance that align with current trends. I believe it's a hotel worth revisiting."

"Our Raffles Clearwater Bay experience was absolutely perfect! Our dedicated butler, Zoe, was incredibly thoughtful and meticulous. She proactively coordinated our itinerary beforehand, responded promptly to all our requests, and handled everything flawlessly. The 'singing' white sand was fine and soft, and the tropical gardens created a wonderful atmosphere. Our room was spacious and airy, and the multi-zone pools were clean and comfortable. There were plenty of activities for families, the food quality was excellent, and the spa offered a serene and relaxing experience. The resort also had many picturesque spots perfect for photos. All the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. With 24-hour on-call butler service, our entire trip was stress-free and rejuvenating. Highly recommend!"

"I stayed here last year on June 22nd. It was a brand new hotel then, and while the hardware and facilities were indeed excellent, the service was noticeably lacking, leaving me with a mediocre impression. My son, however, couldn't stop thinking about Sanyue zheng, so at his strong insistence, I 'reluctantly' booked two nights again this year, just for him. The day before check-in (I missed the call) and on the day of arrival, the hotel called to confirm our arrival time, number of guests, room type, and to arrange a butler service beforehand. This time, our assigned butler, Tiantian, was incredibly attentive. She messaged us at noon (afternoon) and in the evening to inquire about our plans, needs, and to offer warm reminders. She was always responsive to our requests, incredibly quick, and had a wonderful attitude. My son absolutely adored Auntie Tiantian! Upon check-in, we received heart-shaped rabbit cookies, and upon check-out, we even got a heart-shaped rabbit plushie as a souvenir. This stay truly showed me that the hotel is genuinely dedicated to providing a great experience. The door from the G floor to the fountain, which was manual last year, is now a sensor door. The path to the go-karts, which was there last year, has been replaced with a newly built wooden boardwalk. New additions this year include a reptile park, a fun animal farm, equestrian activities, and a sports park – all things that weren't there last year. This gave us a different experience and kept things from feeling stale or boring. The sky glass pool is beautiful, and the scenery is fantastic. Two large screens on either side were showing the World Cup football matches, bringing joy to a dad who was 'reluctantly' accompanying his son for a swim. Before, I was hesitant to stay at Sanyue zheng again, but now I'm already looking forward to booking a full sea-view room and a family room for our next stay. On this Sanya trip, I chose three hotels: a 270-degree sea-view room, a villa with a pool, and the Sanyue zheng landscape two-bedroom suite. My son's favorite was still Sanyue zheng! A wonderful trip also requires an attentive butler. I even received a warm greeting from 'Tiantian' after landing in Shanghai. You were the most beautiful 'surprise' of my trip!"

"The room layout is well-designed, and the bed is large and comfortable for sleeping. The public areas are clean and safe. Butler Taozi provided attentive and detailed service, making this a great choice for family travel. It's very suitable for family and parent-child trips, and the hotel beach is particularly good. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for a vacation... Just be sure to avoid the complimentary 5-shot photo session. If you only stick to the free shots, the photos are incredibly bad and very perfunctory – worse than what you could take with your own phone. If you want something a bit better, sorry, you'll have to pay extra. Makeup costs extra, clothes cost extra. In short, it's a huge rip-off. Just steer clear of that pitfall and you'll be fine."

"Our first stop for the holiday was the Indigo Sanya Clearwater Bay, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. Before we even checked in, our butler, Summer, sent us an introduction to the hotel and recommendations for local food, which really built up our excitement. I have to give a huge shout-out to my butler! First, she upgraded our room, then, knowing I was on my period, she brought me brown sugar ginger tea. On our last night, she surprised me with cake and red wine. Oh my goodness, how can someone be so wonderful? My chat history with her is just full of 'thank yous' 🥹. The rafting was super fun, the pool was great for a dip, the gym was perfect for a run, and the public areas were beautiful for photos, no matter where you shot. Lying in bed and looking out at the sea was incredibly relaxing! Oh, and I also fell in love with the hotel's umbrellas – they're super cute. I asked for the purchase details and plan to have one shipped home."

"I wouldn't recommend staying here. The location is too remote, there's absolutely nothing around. For food, it's either the hotel restaurant or ordering takeout! Although the room wasn't newly renovated, it still had that new house smell, probably because it's rarely occupied and hasn't been aired out much. The amusement park isn't fun either; all the oceanariums across the country are pretty much the same, and the prices aren't cheap. I thought the Ferris wheel looked fun, but unfortunately, it was under maintenance when we went, so we couldn't ride it – a bit disappointing! The mini-train costs over a hundred for just one loop, which is really overpriced! The hotel's private beach has decent views, but it was too hot to enjoy during the day. There weren't even any beach chairs, just a few swings good for photos. Breakfast was terrible; after looking around, there were hardly any options I liked. There were no local specialties like Lingshui sour noodles or Baoluo noodles. The restaurant was also very small, so if you went late, you'd be stuck sitting outside in the sun! The hotel doesn't even have a kids' club, and all the family-friendly activities cost extra! If you're visiting Lingshui, definitely avoid this place. Not only is it far, but it's also a rip-off. Qingshui Bay is much more fun! Avoid at all costs!"

"This will be my top choice for future vacations. I initially booked for two nights, but it was so comfortable that I couldn't resist extending my stay by another night, even pushing back my other travel plans. The room pool is very clean; someone comes daily to scoop out debris, though it's normal to find some natural plant matter since it's outdoors. The room itself is also spotless, and it's incredibly quiet at night. I thought such a spacious room might feel a bit eerie at night, but these past few days have given me some of the best sleep I've had in a long time. I haven't naturally fallen asleep and woken up like this in ages. Moreover, I felt a natural release of accumulated fatigue and anxiety while at the hotel. It's been a long time since I've felt so relaxed and free from stress. Some might not like it, but I personally love this kind of old-school luxury hotel."

"Finally made it to the legendary Aloha Hotel, touted as Lingshui's ultimate family-friendly accommodation, and it certainly lives up to its reputation. The oceanfront room offered breathtaking, pristine sea views with the sun glistening on the water – photos truly don't do it justice. The room itself was well-equipped, and the bedding was incredibly comfortable; I slept so well I felt completely refreshed. My little one didn't want to leave the bathtub, so I joined in for a bit too, enjoying the sea breeze – it was truly relaxing. We initially planned to stay just one night before moving on, but we spontaneously decided to extend our stay for two more days. We'll definitely be back to this hotel on our next visit to Lingshui."

"Excellent stay! This 11-year-old hotel is well-maintained. The room was spacious with a huge balcony and very clean. The mattress was super comfortable, and the towels and bathrobes were clean and soft. The blackout curtains worked perfectly, and the soundproofing was great. Our butler, Kelly, contacted me in advance via WeChat. She was very responsive whenever I had questions during our stay. There were a few minor issues that I initially wanted to highlight as warnings for others, but Kelly's exceptional service truly impressed me. She patiently resolved all our problems and anticipated our needs. I'll definitely look for Kelly again on my next visit to Lingshui!"
