This trip coincided with my wedding anniversary with my husband, and we chose the Capella in Sanya, which I'd been wanting to visit for a long time. I was quite worried because I'd seen a lot of mixed reviews online, but the experience here far exceeded my expectations! The thoughtful Daisy from the culture and tourism department even brought us coconuts 🥥 for an energy boost, and an anniversary cake too~ The hotel offers a ton of activities, keeping us busy at every moment – afternoon tea, cocktail hour, evening free-flow drinks, clam digging, sailing, and many more! Among luxury hotels, the room facilities are exceptionally new. And I absolutely, absolutely love the garden view – even more than the sea view! The large windows fulfilled all my fantasies about a garden view, and the bedding is worth mentioning; it's unique and very comfortable. There's a Chinese restaurant and a Thai restaurant to choose from. The Thai food was delicious, and we even got to see a stunning pink sunset while dining. The hotel's public areas are very well-maintained, and since we visited during the off-season, the experience was truly fantastic. Complimentary mini-bar — a rich selection of snacks and soft drinks (replenished daily), including sodas, potato chips, dried fruit, etc.~ And the hotel breakfast offers a wide variety too!"

"Although it's an older hotel in Lingshui, the service and vacation atmosphere are still top-notch. The hotel strictly controls guest traffic, only allowing registered guests inside, making it very private and orderly. Even during peak season, it never feels crowded. Rooms: The rooms are incredibly spacious, starting from 80sqm, with elegant and grand Southeast Asian tropical decor. The standard pool room offers a great location, fantastic views, and plenty of fun. Double vanities, Dyson hairdryers, and coffee machines truly elevate the quality. Beach: The hotel's private beach is just a few minutes' walk away. It's wide, flat, and features a beach buffet available every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. The white sand is fine and soft, making it child-friendly. There's also the famous lighthouse and a seaside chapel, perfect for photos and creating a wonderful ambiance. It's an excellent spot to watch the sunset. Breakfast: The buffet breakfast at Disha Village Restaurant offers a rich variety, balancing both Chinese and Western options. You can also order à la carte. They have signature lobster wontons, local Hainan noodles, smoked salmon, seafood congee, freshly squeezed juices, desserts, and a noodle station. Open until 11 am, it's perfect for a relaxed brunch after sleeping in. The food pickup is well-organized. Butler Service: Raffles' signature butler service truly lives up to its reputation. My family and I experienced warm and personalized butler service, not just generic WeChat group messages. Since we were celebrating an anniversary, our butler, Chloe, arranged a full set of ceremonial touches and a hand-drawn card. Throughout our three-day stay, she provided thoughtful updates on weather changes and hotel activities. Overall, the hotel service is gentle and courteous, especially the excellent service. It's particularly suitable for family vacations, offering a quiet and orderly environment. Highly recommended!"

"The entire hotel's design aesthetic is on point – modern, minimalist, and full of artistic flair. You can snap great photos anywhere, from the common areas to the guest rooms. The lush, tranquil gardens face the Clearwater Bay ocean, creating an immersive resort vibe. I have to commend Vicky, our butler, for her meticulous and thoughtful service throughout our stay. She proactively confirmed our needs before check-in and was incredibly responsive to any requests regarding transportation, supplies, or room changes. Many thoughtful details made us feel truly cared for. The breakfast was the biggest surprise of our trip! It's served until noon, which is perfect for late risers like us. They offer a comprehensive selection of Chinese and Western dishes, local Hainan snacks, freshly made noodles, desserts, and drinks. The variety is extensive, fresh, and there are so many choices. Just a side note about a dining incident: one evening, we dined at the hotel's Western restaurant, and the kitchen was a bit slow that day. The staff proactively apologized throughout our meal and then specifically offered two exquisite desserts plus a large fresh fruit platter as compensation after our dinner. Their attitude was sincere, and their handling of the situation was very thoughtful. This minor hiccup didn't diminish our overall positive impression at all. Overall, the experience was flawless, with both excellent soft and hard amenities. I will definitely choose this place again on my next visit to Lingshui!"

"I stayed here last year on June 22nd. It was a brand new hotel then, and while the hardware and facilities were indeed excellent, the service was noticeably lacking, leaving me with a mediocre impression. My son, however, couldn't stop thinking about Sanyue zheng, so at his strong insistence, I 'reluctantly' booked two nights again this year, just for him. The day before check-in (I missed the call) and on the day of arrival, the hotel called to confirm our arrival time, number of guests, room type, and to arrange a butler service beforehand. This time, our assigned butler, Tiantian, was incredibly attentive. She messaged us at noon (afternoon) and in the evening to inquire about our plans, needs, and to offer warm reminders. She was always responsive to our requests, incredibly quick, and had a wonderful attitude. My son absolutely adored Auntie Tiantian! Upon check-in, we received heart-shaped rabbit cookies, and upon check-out, we even got a heart-shaped rabbit plushie as a souvenir. This stay truly showed me that the hotel is genuinely dedicated to providing a great experience. The door from the G floor to the fountain, which was manual last year, is now a sensor door. The path to the go-karts, which was there last year, has been replaced with a newly built wooden boardwalk. New additions this year include a reptile park, a fun animal farm, equestrian activities, and a sports park – all things that weren't there last year. This gave us a different experience and kept things from feeling stale or boring. The sky glass pool is beautiful, and the scenery is fantastic. Two large screens on either side were showing the World Cup football matches, bringing joy to a dad who was 'reluctantly' accompanying his son for a swim. Before, I was hesitant to stay at Sanyue zheng again, but now I'm already looking forward to booking a full sea-view room and a family room for our next stay. On this Sanya trip, I chose three hotels: a 270-degree sea-view room, a villa with a pool, and the Sanyue zheng landscape two-bedroom suite. My son's favorite was still Sanyue zheng! A wonderful trip also requires an attentive butler. I even received a warm greeting from 'Tiantian' after landing in Shanghai. You were the most beautiful 'surprise' of my trip!"

"First off, the hotel is brand new, with modern facilities and a fresh style that makes it very comfortable. I booked a king room and was upgraded for free to a sea-view family room with a separate small bed for a child – my little one absolutely loved it! It was full of playful charm. Also, the tickets I bought included admission to the Ocean World, and after visiting, I can honestly say this Ocean World is in no way inferior to Zhuhai Chimelong, and even surpasses it. The polar bears here are fatter than those at Zhuhai Chimelong, and the design of the glass aquariums and the escalator through them are far superior to Zhuhai Chimelong's. I have to say, this is my genuine experience, not a paid endorsement. Finally, the travel photography session was absolutely stunning! For 1000 yuan, they gave all the refined photos, a 25-page album, and two display frames, which is much better value than what you'd get in Guangzhou. I highly recommend coming here; the experience in Lingshui is far better than Yalong Bay. "This hotel offers great value for money. It's super convenient, within a half-hour drive to attractions like Dadai Island and Atlantis. The staff are very polite; the bellboy who helped with our luggage even recommended Coconut Chicken Hotpot, which was indeed delicious! This hotel is really popular in the summer. After checking out, I thought I'd left something behind, and they helped me search everywhere, inside and out, only for me to find it in my own car. I'd definitely choose to stay here again, perhaps in winter or during the off-peak season."

"Facilities: The facilities are a bit dated, but overall I'm quite satisfied. The room is spacious, and each room comes with its own private pool. You can ask the hotel to turn on the circulation system. Hygiene: The hygiene is generally good. There are mosquito coils and repellent in the room, as there tend to be more mosquitoes. Environment: The overall environment is very private and has a resort-like feel. There are many trees, and it's quite tranquil. The overall decor is very exquisite. Service: The overall service level is decent. The first day's service was the best, but in the subsequent two days, the wait time for the buggy was quite long."

"Our first stop for the holiday was the Indigo Sanya Clearwater Bay, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. Before we even checked in, our butler, Summer, sent us an introduction to the hotel and recommendations for local food, which really built up our excitement. I have to give a huge shout-out to my butler! First, she upgraded our room, then, knowing I was on my period, she brought me brown sugar ginger tea. On our last night, she surprised me with cake and red wine. Oh my goodness, how can someone be so wonderful? My chat history with her is just full of 'thank yous' 🥹. The rafting was super fun, the pool was great for a dip, the gym was perfect for a run, and the public areas were beautiful for photos, no matter where you shot. Lying in bed and looking out at the sea was incredibly relaxing! Oh, and I also fell in love with the hotel's umbrellas – they're super cute. I asked for the purchase details and plan to have one shipped home."

"The location is great, very close to Xincun Night Market, and there's a nice fruit market nearby. The hotel environment is beautiful, with a large and well-maintained pool. It's a shame we didn't try the wave pool, but the slides and grotto pool were good. The views from the room are amazing; I recommend staying on a higher floor. Breakfast is decent. The facilities for kids aren't the best; the bathroom door is too stiff and closes too quickly, which could pinch little ones. The balcony door is also very tight and hard to open. It would be great if the kids' play area (Taoqi Bao) stayed open until 8 or 9 PM. Part of the beach is clean, but another part has black ash-like stuff, which is a real shame for such a beautiful beach if it's not cleaned up properly. Also, it seems like something happened at the hotel ** – my daughter's sunglasses and my brand new sanitary pads were gone when we left, which is really strange. Professional Photoshoot: We paid an extra 1000 for the photos, which was too expensive. Service: Very attentive, always available when called. Facilities: Aside from the slightly lacking kids' facilities, everything else is great. Providing a bed rail was a big plus. Hygiene: Very good. Ctrip provided a free ice cream, and the hotel gave us two large coconuts every day, which was a nice touch."

"The hotel boasts a tranquil and serene environment 👍. The lawn is thick and clean, free of branches or dead leaves, and is constantly being tidied up. There's an outdoor pool and a kids' water park, both with very clean water. The hot spring pools, built into the mountainside (like the Baicao Pool and natural sulfuric mineral hot springs) are fantastic 👍 – it's incredibly relaxing to soak in them after a tiring day. The kids' play area is a bit small, better suited for younger children, but it offers a rich variety of activities; older kids can enjoy crafts and other options. The specialty Qingbuliang for breakfast is better than takeout 👍, and dishes like sour noodles and Hainanese fried noodles are also very distinctive. Even after staying for several days, I didn't get tired of the food. I'll definitely be back to stay again."
