Carlos made sure that we were okay all the time. The hotel has a great location, right next to the hotel, 1 minute walk from our hotel room. The hotel room is big and spacious, it has a little kitchen and even a washing machine they also provide Laundry detergent everyday. The breakfast is mostly Chinese, western breakfast is non existent at this hotel and that's one thing I feel they should improve on, but Carlos and his team really made us forget about the little troubles we experienced. If you can't speak Chinese, I'd suggest finding Carlos on your check in. Thank you for an unforgettable stay, we will definitely come again.

We had an extremely disappointing experience at this hotel. Despite making a full payment through Trip.com at the time of reservation for 3 rooms, the hotel staff demanded another full payment upon our arrival. Even after checking out of the hotel on November 21st 2024, I have yet to receive a full refund from Trip.com, as the hotel staff had assured us. This lack of professionalism and transparency caused unnecessary stress during our stay. Furthermore, the security guard refused to let us alight at the main driveway in front of the hotel lobby to drop off our luggage, claiming that it would ”block the hotel’s feng shui” as per their boss’s instructions. However, we observed many other cars and guests doing so. This left us scrambling to find an alternative while managing our heavy bags to check into the hotel. Such behaviour is not only inconsiderate but also unacceptable in a service-oriented industry. We will avoid staying at this hotel in the future.

From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warmth and professionalism of every single staff member. Their friendliness and genuine care make you feel right at home. The hotel itself is immaculate, with spotless rooms and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. However, what truly sets this hotel apart is the outstanding service. A special mention to my butler, Chase, who went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. Whether it was recommending places to visit or attending to every little detail in my room, he handled everything with professionalism and care. There was nothing he couldn’t do! I’d also like to thank Mori, the reception duty manager, for her excellent service. She speaks great English and took such good care of us, making everything smooth and effortless. Another person I’d like to praise is 符阿姨 from housekeeping. She cleaned my room so thoroughly—you can tell she takes her job seriously. She mopped the floor, made everything perfectly organised, and ensured the room was spotless every single day. I also have to commend the hotel management for training their staff so well. The level of professionalism and dedication from every team member is truly impressive. I know people sometimes get tired of overly positive reviews that sound too good to be true, but this is a real review from a real guest. We are a family from uk travelling through China with our two sons 10 and 8 years old. The big plus of this hotel is the private and peaceful beach. This hotel has large enough grounds and spaces to feel not crowded and peaceful. Our lady butler spoke english and was super helpful. Food was good quality and nice choice, although we struggled a bit to find a variety of vegetarian dishes for our vegetarian son, having said that this was a bit of an issue everywhere we went. The hotel is situated away from the major tourist agglomeration which is very nice. The only thing we found strange was the music constantly played at the beach buffet. We would have preferred to listen to the waves and the crickets than the man made noise… I guess this maybe a bit of a cultural difference . On that note … the last orders at the bar are at 9:30pm. All in all we all had a great stay and would recommend the hotel without hesitation.

It was a third time staying in Capella. This time with kids and it was great! It’s definitely the best hotel in the Sanya. We have a special requests for baby’s food and baby’s arrangements in the room, stuff was very helpful and nice. Special thanks to culturist manager Andrei, he was doing all the arrangements for us from check in to check out, was replying immediately on the messages. High end service.
