Romantic Hotels in Changsha

Traveling with elderly family members can be challenging, so we were incredibly grateful that the hotel was so understanding and allowed us a late check-out. It really saved us a lot of hassle! The room was spotless, the environment comfortable, and the staff were patient and friendly. The service had a really personal touch, which made our trip much more relaxed. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and we'll definitely choose this hotel again next time we're in the area. Highly recommend! 👍

The hotel's location is excellent, with many restaurants and supermarkets nearby, and it's right next to Chaozong Street. There are also multiple bus routes in the vicinity that go directly to various attractions. The hotel is about a 15-minute walk from both Metro Line 2 and Line 1. The room facilities match the pictures on the official website. The staff were polite and enthusiastic, and check-in and check-out were quick. The recommended restaurants were also delicious. The breakfast was plentiful, and the fish noodle soup was incredibly fresh and tasty. However, due to the National Day holiday, there was a queue for dining, which might have been due to an underestimation of the guest flow. Upgrading the room type requires an additional fee, but the river view room truly offers a great view and is worth experiencing. The hotel pool has long opening hours, but it seems to be open to the public, not just hotel guests. It gets very crowded in the evenings, so those who enjoy swimming might want to go in the morning.

Right inside Taiping Street, turn right for Mixue Bingcheng and left for many attractions. You can walk to May Day Square, no need for a taxi. I stayed for several days, and don't let the small entrance fool you. The bed is comfortable and the people are nice. Important: The washing machine is only for clothes, no socks or underwear. That's excellent! And it's convenient for hanging clothes too. It has an ancient style, and I'm really not sure where those bad reviews came from. I stayed for about 4 days. Believe it or not, that's up to you. At night, you can walk back to the hotel from Orange Isle. This is the most satisfying hotel I've stayed at since my trip began at the start of the month.

Every time I come to Changsha, I choose the Grand Hyatt. Thanks to the staff at the Grand Club for helping arrange my usual room. It's on a high floor, with panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows directly overlooking the Xiang River, and a clear view of Orange Isle. The room was also set up in advance according to our usual preferences, showing the hotel's thoughtfulness and respect for its guests. Due to the large number of guests, the Grand Club's happy hour has removed the chef-served dishes and added one more dish to the buffet. The food tastes good and has a strong Hunan flavor. Compared to before, they've also added Changsha's local snacks. Most of the staff at the Grand Club are new hires, but they are very enthusiastic and eager to help. It would be even better if they were more proactive in clearing plates. Room service was also very thoughtful and prompt, though I hope the cleaning could be a bit more meticulous. Breakfast at the buffet restaurant on the first floor is very rich, with many Changsha local specialties: fried pork with chili noodles, stinky tofu, sugar oil粑粑 (a sweet fried dough), chuanyan粑粑 (another local snack)... everything you could want. My favorite before was the handmade fresh meat buns, but this time, the quality seemed to have declined. Some buns weren't hot enough, and some had very little meat filling, which was a pity. The mini steamed buns, however, were quite good. We also tried the buffet dinner. It happened to be the monthly birthday party on the first of the month. The restaurant was decorated for birthdays, had a singer, and prepared a large cake that all guests could share. There was also a lucky draw, and birthday celebrants for the current month received a 50% discount. All arrangements were very thoughtful. The buffet dishes were very rich. The salmon was fresh and tender, and the female chef was very generous with thick cuts. There was also a wide variety of seafood. The live seafood tank had abalones and various shellfish. There were steamed swimming crabs served at the table, chilled king crab legs, Arctic sweet shrimp, large shrimp, mussels, as well as spicy stir-fried seafood, grilled oysters, and pan-fried foie gras. Restaurant staff also used a cart to serve parma ham with melon and sparkling wine, adding to the sense of occasion. The restaurant's desserts were also delicious. The durian egg custard was served in a cute eggshell-shaped container. The black truffle flavor in the black truffle Basque cheesecake was very rich. Even the tiramisu came in both matcha and coffee flavors. They were sweet but not cloying, and very delicious. Hyatt Group's dining standards are indeed consistently high and did not disappoint. The restaurant service staff were very proactive in clearing plates and always attentive to guests' needs. In short, our trip to Changsha Grand Hyatt left us very satisfied, and we will choose it again next time we come to Changsha.

I booked this hotel to take my child to a concert, and it's very close to the exhibition center, which was super convenient. The environment is also great, and the staff were all very nice. Rooms were tight during the summer holiday. When I checked in, the room was ready, but the cleaning wasn't finished yet. Since Changsha was incredibly hot, I decided to wait in the room for the cleaning to be done. While unpacking, I realized I forgot my phone charger. The staff overheard me and proactively offered to bring one over. So thoughtful! 👍

The hotel I chose this time was really good. I arrived quite early, but the front desk staff quickly arranged my check-in. The room was spacious and the environment was nice and clean, with a desk and chair. It's been raining in Changsha these past two days, and I wanted to do laundry in my premium king room. The staff readily agreed to help, so the service was excellent. The breakfast was delicious. Although it didn't have as much variety as a star-rated hotel, the taste was quite good, and they had everything you'd expect. The freshly ground coffee was especially nice. Overall, it's good value for money, and I would definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Changsha.

The room was very spacious. We booked a twin room, and I apologize for this, but the three of us moved the beds together. My apologies to the housekeeping staff who had to tidy up afterward. The service was excellent. They readily replenished water bottles and quickly brought up extra toiletries when requested. It was also very convenient that they could provide an extra key card for my friend who came back later at night. The view from the window was decent; you could see a partial river view through the floor-to-ceiling windows, and the night scenery was beautiful. The only downside is that the facilities are a bit old and not very smart, but that's it. Most importantly, there was a dead praying mantis in the room that looked like it had been there for a while, as its body had already turned yellow.

Exceptional stay with friends! Perfect location and views in Changsha! This was my first time booking a 3 bedroom suite for a group of 5 friends, and Wandai Hotel exceeded all our expectations. The suite was absolutely incredible, featuring stunning panoramic views from every single bedroom. The room quality was top-notch with cold A/C and warm, cozy blankets, making it incredibly great value for the price when sharing with a group. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. A special thank you to Xiaofang, who assisted us with check-in and was genuinely lovely. Our stay also included a daily complimentary Chinese-style breakfast, which was a nice authentic touch to start the morning. The location is simply unbeatable. It is situated right next to a mall, making it super easy to find great food, and the IFS building is just a short walk away.

This is a great choice for traveling. It's very close to the train station with convenient transportation, so there's no need to rush. The front desk service was attentive and friendly, and they gave us a free room upgrade upon check-in, which was a pleasant surprise. The room was comfortable, and we had a great rest. Overall, the service is top-notch, the environment is quiet, and it's perfect for a short one-night stay.

This is my second time staying here in Changsha, and I'm very grateful the hotel upgraded me to a larger room! The toilet flush didn't work every time, and the bathroom walls and window sills looked a bit old; I'd suggest they be updated. The breakfast was plentiful, but finishing by 10 AM felt a bit rushed. It's great that there's a pool, though I recommend bringing your own swimming cap. It's a bit of a distance from the subway station, so taking a taxi is more convenient.
