"The ocean view from the room was absolutely breathtaking! The hotel's location is absolutely superb; it offers fantastic accessibility, being incredibly close to the beach and surrounded by numerous attractions. Plus, its proximity to MixC Mall made everything so convenient – it truly couldn't be better. What truly delighted me was the incredibly spacious room, which even included a refrigerator and a washing machine. After a day out, it was wonderful to be able to wash and dry our clothes thoroughly. Having cold drinks pre-chilled in the fridge was perfect for cooling down the moment we stepped back in. It provided all the comforts and convenience of home! I will definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Qingdao."

"For our family trip, we chose the Qingdao Haitian Hotel. The hotel's setting, amenities, and location were all exceptional. But what truly set it apart was the service, which far exceeded our expectations. We stayed for three nights, and Jack on the Executive Floor provided such incredibly thoughtful service that he truly made us feel at home. He even upgraded us to an Executive Floor room. He also thoughtfully considered our travel fatigue and provided steam eye masks to help us unwind. If we ever get the chance to visit Qingdao for a third time, Haitian will undoubtedly be our top choice. It truly offers a home-away-from-home experience."

"The room was standard, but the service was absolutely excellent. It was my birthday during our stay, and they even surprised me with a birthday cake – a truly thoughtful gesture. The hotel's location is fantastic, right next to MixC City, putting all kinds of dining, shopping, and entertainment within easy reach. It's also just a fifteen-minute walk to May Fourth Square and the seaside, making it incredibly convenient for enjoying the sea views, scenic spots, and the nightly light show. The breakfast spread was generous, and the swimming pool was never too busy, so we thoroughly enjoyed our time there."

The facilities possess a unique charm, genuinely transporting you back to the Republican era. The cleanliness was absolutely impeccable; I even used a disposable face towel to wipe down all surfaces myself, confirming that not a speck of dust could be found. When I mentioned I had mosquito bites, a kind, bespectacled lady at the front desk immediately provided me with ointment – truly thoughtful service! The hotel's location is perfect, right on Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street. Zhanqiao Pier, St. Michael's Cathedral, and the train station are all just a few minutes' walk away. The hotel's buffet offered a wide variety of delicious options too. I will definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Qingdao."

"Upon checking in on August 30th, the front desk informed us that breakfast was served from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM. However, when we went for breakfast at 10:00 AM on September 1st, we were told that, effective September 1st, the breakfast hours had been adjusted and it now ended at 10:00 AM. We were completely unaware of this change, and as a result, we missed breakfast that day. Later, we were informed that a refund was not possible, but as an apology, they offered us a small gift. However, upon receiving it, we discovered that the complimentary tea set showed clear signs of prior use, was covered in residue, and its hygiene was highly questionable. As evident from the picture, we absolutely dared not use it. This clearly demonstrates that the hotel's apology was far from genuine, and it left us utterly infuriated. For a business in the service industry, this level of service is completely unacceptable. In short, I strongly advise everyone to steer clear of this hotel."

"We were given a complimentary room upgrade, which was a lovely surprise. The room was very spacious, and the service was excellent. For families traveling with kids, having laundry facilities available was incredibly convenient. The breakfast area was very clean and well-maintained; it would have been even better with a wider variety of options. The hotel's location is also very convenient for getting around, with easy access to Metro Lines 2 and 3, plus various bus routes. One minor issue was the low water pressure in the bathroom and slow drainage, which might be due to ongoing renovations."

"Location is excellent, with an exit to Metro Line 3 just outside the hotel, 2 mins walk away. The street behind the hotel also has lots of local eateries then there's a big mall just across the road. Room is a good size and I'm impressed that everything comes in a sanitized/disinfected sealed packaging, including all the towels! Gives a strong comfort on hygiene. The sockets are all universal, so no need for adaptors. It's also a smart room installed with Xiao Du AI with voice command capability. The shower water pressure is strong. Bed is firm and they've got both the firm foam pillow and soft ones to fit different preferences. The room also came with a free fruit platter and ample complimentary bottled water. I also like that the room doors come with inspiring quotes. Each level has a washing machine and dryer and small microwave. The lobby is huge and staff are friendly and helpful. If I must find fault, it's probably in the security in the sense that the lift does not require key card access so anyone can just come up to the rooms. Though I did not experience anything unsafe during my stay. A truly 5* experience at 4* pricing. Certainly my choice hotel the next time I return to Qingdao."

"## Location: The location is incredibly convenient: just across the traffic light from the Zhongshan Road subway station exit, right on the main street. Taxis are also easy to hail. With public transport (bus and subway) right at the doorstep, getting anywhere is effortless. Zhanqiao Pier is also within walking distance, and the stroll there is quite pleasant, allowing you to admire the architecture and browse the small shops along the way. Just a heads-up, during hot weather, it's wise to stay cool. ## Environment: The courtyard itself is very quiet. Surrounding it are many small shops, accessible through a back gate from the courtyard – just knock and you can step right in to explore them, which was a fantastic feature. We'd read reviews suggesting ground-floor rooms are more convenient, so we booked one. However, the garden-style courtyard made it a bit challenging to wheel our luggage. But the front desk staff (the young gentlemen, in particular) were incredibly helpful, always carrying our bags in and out. Our suitcases were quite heavy, so we were truly grateful for their assistance! ## Stay Experience: The bedding was quite comfortable, although the pillows were a bit too soft. It would be ideal to have both a soft and a slightly firmer pillow option to cater to different preferences. The air conditioning kept the room refreshingly cool, but it seemed to lack a dehumidifier function (or we couldn't find it), making the room feel a bit too damp. Clothes hung out in the courtyard took a while to dry, but having a washing machine to pre-spin them helped a bit. Each room has its own private courtyard perfect for tea and conversation; on hot days, we simply moved our tea setup just outside our door, which was equally pleasant. We did notice a slight odor in the bathroom, but after mentioning it to the front desk, they promptly cleaned it again for us. Overall, our stay was very enjoyable, and we would definitely choose this place again on our next visit to Qingdao. The people of Shandong are genuinely warm, friendly, and talkative – they never showed any signs of annoyance, which we truly appreciated!"

"After finally getting a long-awaited holiday, my girlfriend and I spent a lot of time comparing hotels and ultimately chose this one. We weren't disappointed; in fact, it was quite a pleasant surprise! The hotel is conveniently located right next to The MixC shopping mall and very close to the subway station, making it super convenient for exploring the city. Our room was very clean, and the large floor-to-ceiling windows offered a bright and open view. The staff member at the front desk was also incredibly friendly. If we ever visit Qingdao again, we'd definitely stay here."

"The hotel is perfectly situated right inside the ancient town, making it super convenient for evening strolls. Despite being in the old town, it was surprisingly quiet. The hotel staff were absolutely wonderful; I couldn't find a single fault. They even surprised my boyfriend and me with a complimentary cake when they learned we were there to register our marriage. The cake itself was delicious and clearly made with a lot of thought and care. The only minor point was that the showerhead in the bathroom was a bit old; updating it and enhancing a few other small details would make the experience absolutely perfect. All in all, it was a really great experience. Huge praise for the hotel staff! While other aspects might be a 3 or 4 out of 5, the front desk staff definitely deserve a perfect score!"
