Popular Hangzhou 4-star Hotels

Great customer service attitude from the front desk and house keeping staff. Special mention to Miss 袁巧花 of the house keeping team for being proactive in assisting our needs. That is why I took a picture of her name tag so I can mention her here in this review Location: Great 👍! Walking distance to shopping malls, pedestrian shopping streets, and the west lake. 7/11, restaurants beside the hotel. Buffet breakfast included, well worth it at 59yuan because of the numerous selections. Also had buffet seafood dinner that has unlimited famous hairy crab, a wide selection of food at 150 yuan only, shockingly cheap. Enjoyed taking videos of the robot delivering our food ordered from outside the hotel also picture attached

The hotel is located in a quite strategic location and it was at Exit B on Ding an road station. There was an upward escalator only but none downward escalator. Therefore, if you have big luggage then please be informed. The hotel lobby seems very stuffy. Feeling breathless if it stays there for a longer period. During registration, there was constant interruption from the travel agent promoting their package which is truly annoying. I was a bit disappointed as I came here to celebrate my birthday during my stay. No upgrade or special or compliment offered by the hotel which is truly disappointing despite the fact that I did mention it on my booking. However, the room was spacious. Strong aircon with a good strong shower. The room was equipped with an air purifier and even disinfectant machine. Disposable toothbrushes and indoor shoes were given as complimentary. A comfortable bed with two big pillows per bed. My room doesn't come with breakfast. In house guests will only need to pay 36 RMB to dine in. However to me, the food was simple and there was not much variety. You can actually check the foods before deciding to dine in. Overall the stay with Merchant Marco Edgelake hotel is still considered pleasant. Front counter staff needs to improve their services. Travel agent staff should not interrupt the guest while during registration. Be professional.

A marvelous experience and I was extremely impressed by the high-quality services this hotel could provide! Location must be 100 full credits, so close to the West Lake Plaza! Very satisfied with the top roof garden views.

This hotel is located next to Chengzhan Metro Station which is very convenient for us to travel around. The buffet breakfast is very nice. It has variety of choices. The room itself is quite spacious, clean and comfortable. All the staff especially Alan & Zero helped us a lot during our stay. Will definitely come back here again in the future. ❤️

I’m so happy to stay in mercure! The staff was so friendly especially Cathy who helped me a lot! The amenities was also good including laundry self services. Definitely will stay here when I comeback to hangzhou next year! Thank you so much I had a great time🙆🏻♀️

A very nicely located hotel near Hangzhou East. I would say the few problems I noted is a poor air conditioning, but the worst was the elevator which you could wait several minutes. There’s a problem with the programming.

Excellent location, easy to get around. It takes about 10mins to get to the shopping malls, about 5mins to the metro station, a bus stop in front, really convenient! Room was not big but cozy and clean. Service was great. Breakfast had a variety and was enjoyable. Breakfast service could be improved; fruits, some foods, and drinks were not replenished so those who came in the last hour had a few choices.

It was very nice and clean hotel. There are kitchen, kitchen staff, and clean bed linen. They do cleaning service every day. They also have laundry machines and individually packaged laundry detergent for single use in common area. It is very good for travelers. If I’m allowed to say two things, it would be better to have a sponge for washing dishes in the room. And shower water pressure was a little weak compared to Japan though it’s still fine. All staff are very kind. Thank you very much.

I extended my stay by a day to see more of Hangzhou. The hotel is in an ideal location close to Hubin pedestrian mall, the lake and Wulin Market. I went to those places at all times of the day. There is one treadmill, one exercise bicycle, and a laundry. There was water, kettle, fridge and a coffee machine in the room. Good shower pressure. No problems with air conditioning. Television worked well. The counter staff were helpful. Breakfast was just OK; the coffee was good. There are ample food outlets down the subway entrance.

Lovely stay, as always, for the Citigo chain. Hotel location is close to Kerry Center and a short drive from West Lake. Staff is friendly and accomodating. Our room was located very close to the street and there was a lot of traffic noise. We were able to use the ear outside provided. Our room did not have the black out curtins that some Citigo locations have. But otherwise, the room layout was nice and the hotel was just as expected. We always choose to stay with Citigo, regardless of what city in China we visit!
