Find Designer Hotel in Hangzhou

Overall a great hotel, have stayed here before covid. But currently the restaurant is closed, so there is no on site food nor room service available. Breakfast is basic but ok. Rooms are great and to a very high standard. Some staff speak English, so booking taxi etc was painless. Plenty of local restaurant very nearby 20 mins to east station in morning

Environment: The first and only Indigo in Hangzhou, right next to the West Lake Scenic Area, quiet in the bustling city, and a five-minute walk from Metro Line 4, it is convenient for travel and very suitable for travel and living Facilities: Restaurant, bar, gym, basically everything you need. Hygiene: The internal facilities and rooms of the hotel are very clean and tidy. Basically, as long as you go out, there will be someone to clean the room. Service: The hotel staff is very enthusiastic and the service is in place. This time I bought a two-night package, which includes two days of double breakfast + free mini bar + one dinner experience, which can be said to be very cost-effective. Here I want to praise the hotel's catering products. The dinner mainly serves Hangzhou cuisine, which tastes sweet, but the taste is really good. The breakfast variety is very rich, and local snacks and noodles are also provided. Everyone must try the hotel's breakfast fried dumplings and Katagawa! Finally, the hotel also gave a small gift when checking out, which is full of sincerity!

We experienced a premium hospitality stay here during our trip in Hangzhou. The staff are very accommodating and welcoming as they promptly provide our requests. The room is spacious and tidy . Kudos to the bed, it’s very comfortable to sleep on. We also love the fusion of the Western and Chinese breakfast style The location is also accessible to go around West Lake . Highly commendable for Hangzhou travelers. We will surely come back!

Lucy was excellent at reception. She helped us in every way possible . Very pleasant and always smiling . Our stay was very comfortable but the first room we got was see through bathrooms and we were family of three but they changed our room for private bathroom so please as for it. The reception area needs more light . It's very dark .

An excellent hotel with a very good breakfast. Good location and close to west lake and subway station. Will be back to stay again definitely.

I personally prefer Chinese-style hotels. This hotel is tailor-made for me. From the moment I entered the door, it was like walking into a Jiangnan garden. In terms of service, the waiters are friendly and enthusiastic, like friends, which makes people feel happy. The guest rooms are awesome! The space is super large, the decoration is ancient, and the furniture is solid wood. The bedding is soft and comfortable. I can sleep until dawn and feel refreshed. If it weren't too big, I would buy one to take home. The bathroom is clean and hygienic, and the hot water in the shower comes out quickly and gently, as if giving a SPA to the tired body. In terms of catering, the breakfast is rich, with mostly local Chinese dim sum, which is very local. The hotel's service is even more meticulous, and almost any need can be met in the first time. I sincerely recommend it to everyone. You will never go wrong if you stay here! In general, it is quiet and comfortable, and the scenery is quite good. Autumn scenery, garden hotel.

Had a great stay here, staff is incredible and you can ask them anything anytime on wechat and get a reply immediately. Room is very clean and they are not stingy with towels or amenities. Usually hotels have awful hairdryers, Mercure had a good one. It’s a small detail but appreciated. Will stay again in the future! 😁

This hotel surprised me. The lobby is also very beautiful. The rooms are spacious, bright, clean and tidy. The beds are super comfortable and fully equipped. The rooms are soundproofed and the environment is also very elegant. The decoration is exquisite and beautiful. The staff are warm, polite and reasonable. The service is super easy to talk to and gentle. I will stay here again. The location of the hotel for one night is also very convenient. This is a good hotel worth recommending.

This was by far the nicest looking hotel and hotel room in our trip to China. Our hotel room was really nice with all the highest range amenities. I personally loved pop culture decorations around the room. But, I have two areas of concerns that specifically revolves around the service of the reception hall: 1) The reception hall is an open lobby area where the staff will service you by a station rather than behind a desk, which is modern and pleasant. However, this allowed some ignorant guests to just waltz right next to the receptionists, essentially pushing into the front of the queue. I witnessed this several times and the receptionists just served these ignorant guests and did nothing to manage the situation. Not sure if this is due to being acceptable in Chinese culture to interrupt people or push infront of queues but the staff need to do a better job of managing this. Currently they just look like they are too busy to notice or care. 2) Due to how busy they appear to be, I felt like our service was rushed, both during check-in and check-out. Our receptionists lacked the welcoming smile that would be fitting to such an awesome hotel and failed to take a small moment to correctly identify the specifications of our booking - including the availability of breakfast and afternoon tea. It wasn't that bad or rude... just didn't feel like some of the awesome welcoming experience we had in lesser hotels. Anyway, aside from this, we did enjoy our stay at Pagoda, Hangzhou for everything else.

Ele Jane is in a very good and convenient location. Very close to the Longjing Tea village and in a natural environment. It is like staying in the forest within the city, which is a short DiDi ride away. DiDi’s were easy to hail and we never had to wait long. Our room was upgraded at no cost on arrival. We arrived early and left our luggage at the hotel to go explore the area. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful and gave us very good advice on what the area offers. We connected on WeChat and they were fairly eager to try to communicate in English too despite the language barrier, we appreciate their efforts. They provided us with an English tourist map of the area and advised us on the bus routes etc. As can be seen in the photos the room was comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was healthy and enjoyable. Limited options but nice. Two suggestions. Provide your foreign guests with the hotel’s location pin and DiDi address. We found it challenging to find the hotel’s address in the DiDi app when we arrived at Hangzhoudong railway station (about 15km away from the hotel.) Once my husband’s DiDi got lost and he was dropped off at an entirely different address. Another suggestion. We stayed two nights and the room was not made up the second day. We were a bit disappointed as it is the first hotel we stayed at that did not provide this cleaning service. We were also disappointed that the swimming pool and hot tub was under maintenance because that was one of the reasons why we booked the hotel in Trip.com. Apart from that we enjoyed our stay. Another bonus was that the beds were comfortable and soft. The hotel is also pet friendly. Not a lot of activities offered for families with small kids, but is is close enough to many other attractions.
