Hangzhou Hostels

Roommates are OK, smoking is prohibited in the house, everyone can abide by it, this is great, the room is basically very quiet, few people are loud and outside the mobile phone, just two points basically kill 70% of the youth travel; Let’s talk about the shortcomings. The network is a bit too bad. The indoors are basically not connected to WiFi at all. There is no network speed. Even if you go to the living room in the public area, there will be occasional no network speed. I really hope to improve the network situation and the experience will be better. The sanitary condition is average, the toilets for men and women are too close, and the girls' toilets are facing the sink, which is a bit too embarrassing.

Very good, the price/performance ratio is unmatched, with an independent bathroom and cleanliness, but the only drawback is that the girls' dormitory has iron beds like those in factory dormitories, which are shaky and will cause an earthquake if the upper bunk turns over; they are not the wooden beds like those in the pictures. And there is no privacy curtain, it is recommended to bring your own

The environment of the youth hostel is amazing! The decoration style is fresh and fresh, the bedding is comfortable, the bed is large, and the bathroom is clean. The service is even more thoughtful. The front desk lady is warm and friendly, and also provides travel consultation. There is also a fat cat in the lobby, which is very cute. You can feel the warmth of home here, which is a good place to stay during the trip.

I forgot to take pictures of the room, it was very nice! After going upstairs, I changed into slippers first. Everyone who checked in wore slippers. The room was very tidy and the quilt cover was made by oneself. Although the bathroom was public, it was very spacious and very clean. The check-in experience was very good. There were snacks around. It was close to The 1314 bus stop is also not far away, the first choice for visiting West Lake!

It's a youth hostel, so I guess you get what you pay for-- general pros and cons of a general hostel/capsule hotel applies. ' However, I must say that the service is exceptional. Initially, I didn't quite enjoy my stay there due to the corridors smelling abit weird, (plus Hangzhou having a general issue of cigarette smoke being almost everywhere) plus all the other cons of a typical capsule hotel, plus other miscellaneous issues such as the laundry machine also relying on having an alipay WALLET, (which, as a foreigner, I did not have) or my locker having issues, but, the staff at the hostel were exceptionally friendly and helpful, helping me find a way to get my laundry done, my locker fixed. I felt that they knew what they were doing and I didn't feel too worried my entire time there. The staff also were very helpful in giving directions, recommending food, and even with parcel collection. I am not really quite sure what else to say here, I just felt that they were super friendly and sweet, and willing to help with any queries I had. (Once again, thank you so much, if you guys are reading this, I literally cannot stress this enough, thank you, thank you for helping me, thank you for making my stay so enjoyable) Additionally, the vibe there is amazing. Although I came with low expectations and no intention to make friends, I somehow (credit to my travel buddy) made many new friends and I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know them, speaking with them, overall interaction. The whole place just has this nice chill vibe and they've also got lots of games there, and a nice pool table. The concert night was quite fun too, got to see a nice rendition of 后来 (刘若英/Rene Liu) by one of the performers. Perhaps I'd do it again.

On the one hand, I think their house is super clean, because like aunts will come to clean in the afternoon? The aunt cleans the floor on the one hand, and mopping the floor on the other hand, so there is almost no dust on the ground, and like the aunt in the hall, she will clean the trash can. Auntie Tian said many times, so there is no need to worry about the garbage. Can't put it down, and their home also provides four trash cans, This is super super assured. It’s almost Christmas recently. I don’t know what activities their family will do. Their winter solstice will also make dumplings. It’s very atmospheric. I like the atmosphere. It’s really blessed. Come out and try it. They have all kinds of things in their house.  The music in the hall is also very good. If you like quietness, you can let the front desk set the music to lower the brightness or say that it will be much more convenient for him to play some folk songs or lyrical music. If there are any other needs, you can directly say it. They can fit as well as they can.

This place was recommended to me by a friend. She said that the room experience was great. I was going to Hangzhou for a budget trip, so I chose this place. I didn't expect that it would be so comfortable and cozy. I highly recommend it to everyone. The first thing that catches my eye is the lobby environment. The first impression is that it is so clean. The decoration is very good hahahaha, very high-end, simple and high-end style. There are also free slippers, which is great. There are also toiletries, which is a toiletry bag. Although the toiletry bag is provided for a fee, it only costs ten cents a day, which is equivalent to free. There are too many things in it, and there is also laundry detergent. Basically, everyone doesn't bring laundry detergent when they go out, but he has so much here, which is great. I highly recommend it. The room is also very clean. It is really quiet when you sleep at night. You can sleep until you wake up naturally. There is really no sound. It is really great. The service attitude is also very good, especially the handsome brother at the front desk. He is very good and responsive. I really recommend everyone to come.

We visited the Daisy Youth Hostel, on our most recent trip to Hangzhou. The owner and front of house, were friendly and we were well received. The check in service was prompt. Unfortunately, the room was not made up, when we were taken to our room. Regardless, ”It was however dealt with, and it was cleaned while we waited”. Sadly, we still noticed embedded dirt, this needs to be addressed by the management. As no visitor would like a filthy environment. The location is prime, especially for visitors whom wish to visit the scenic areas. We extended our stay with another day, as we were still exploring the area. Unfortunately, our room was not serviced, even though we paid for another night. Overall, the Daisy Youth Hostel has lots of potential, and could be ideal for visitors to the area.

Very good location; friendly front desk staff. This hostel has been around for a long time and is showing its age. I was surprised to be told I had to pay for hand soap given that I was staying in one of the single rooms and was paying over $40 a night. I don't think that's ever happened to me while traveling in China. Toilet paper and towels were also very threadbare. The hostel is probably best for solo travelers looking for super cheap bunks - at the single-room price point, there are many options in Hangzhou that are more modern and provide more amenities.

The hotel is very clean, no one makes noise when sleeping at night, there is a subway nearby, and the transportation is convenient!
