"Staying one night in Wunongding was absolutely worth it! We got incredibly lucky and woke up to the most stunning 'Golden Mountain in the Sunlight' view the next morning. Watching the sun slowly illuminate the Meili Snow Mountain was a truly breathtaking experience that you have to see to believe. In that moment, all the travel fatigue just melted away, making the journey completely worthwhile! The hotel's location is fantastic; you can see the snow-capped mountains right from your window, no need to fight for a spot with crowds. The room was clean and comfortable, and it was very quiet at night. In the morning, you can even catch the sunrise right near the hotel. The owner and staff were exceptionally warm and helpful, advising us on the best viewing times and even arranging thoughtful little details. It was a perfect experience. Witnessing the full 'Golden Mountain in the Sunlight' in Wunongding is truly the most unforgettable memory of our Yunnan trip. Five stars, highly recommended!"

"This is a newly opened hotel, and the owner was incredibly welcoming. They helped us with our luggage and recommended some delicious local dishes that weren't expensive. There are so many orchids around the hotel; I bet it'll look and smell amazing when they all bloom, haha! 😄😄 The room was huge, and all the facilities were brand new and complimentary. There was even an oxygen machine and a massage chair. The shower pressure was excellent too. I was very satisfied with my stay. I'll definitely come back when the weather is good enough to likely catch the sunrise! 😋😋"

"My friends and I drove from Dali to Feilai Temple to see the sunrise over the snow-capped mountains. After comparing several hotels around Meili Snow Mountain, we finally chose the newly opened Konggu Snow Mountain Hotel, which turned out to be the most surprising hotel of the entire trip. The location was easy to find and parking was convenient. The room was exceptionally clean, with nooks and crannies, even in the bathroom. The bedding was very comfortable, and despite the cold nights at high altitude, the entire room had underfloor heating, making for a sound and restful sleep. The front desk butler was incredibly helpful, assisting us with our luggage upon arrival and thoughtfully recommending less-traveled viewpoints to avoid crowded areas. The value for money was outstanding. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and made with high-quality ingredients. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Meili Snow Mountain soon. I hope this hotel continues to thrive and is definitely worth recommending!"

"What you see is what you get - or even more! This place is truly a sanctuary designed and curated with great intention. We rested well after coming back from our yubeng hike. we arrived late at 930pm, however I managed to order my dinner with the hotel via WeChat, and they heated it up for us after we arrived even though the kitchen closed at 730. we had the chicken mushroom hotpot, a Yunnan classic and very well done there. The staff offered us hot milk for the night too :) The room is beautiful and comfortable and spacious. there is a tub which we could have a good soak after hiking. Breakfast was great too with options for coffee and butter yak milk. we stayed through the morning in the lobby area, browsing their books and merchandise. The staff also patiently introduced us to the various linden centre projects, various wines that is produced in the region and let us try some before we left. Knowing that we were taking a train to lijiang, she even checked if we arrived safely. Highly highly recommend. So value for money :) can't wait to return!"

"The hotel sent a comfortable car to pick us up from the bus stop. When we checked in, they helped us with our luggage and told us afternoon tea was served on the rooftop, offering yogurt, drinks, and a choice of tea or coffee. Our room had plenty of oxygen and was well-heated, so we didn't experience any discomfort. The bathroom heater could be adjusted to be very warm, preventing any chills. The hotel views were also excellent; we could see snow-capped mountains right from our bed. Fresh fruit was provided in the room. Dinner was à la carte and absolutely delicious. The highland barley pancake was unique, and I meant to get it to go but forgot. The stir-fried dishes were also very tasty, and the butter tea was fragrant. I was genuinely surprised by how good the hotel chef's cooking was. After dinner, a staff member even knocked on our door to bring us two bowls of sweet soup. It was incredibly pleasant to enjoy the scenery from the floor-to-ceiling window while sipping tea, eating fruit, and having sweet soup. For breakfast, I chose rice noodles, and there were also many well-balanced side dishes. My husband had two large bowls of rice noodles! Milk, coffee, and butter tea were also available. In the morning, while watching the 'golden mountain' sunrise from the rooftop, a staff member offered hot drinks, shawls, ******* clothing, and phone stands. When we checked out in the morning, they gave us a small gift. We left some clothes behind, and they even mailed them back to us free of charge. The hotel's service was truly thoughtful. We'll definitely come again!"
