It would be better if the guests could be provided with a simple breakfast to take with them, such as bread, boiled eggs, corn, etc. It would not be expensive, but the experience would be better.

It's not easy to go to Meili Snow Mountain. The hotel is just opposite Feilai Temple. The front desk lady is very enthusiastic. Because we wanted to see Meili Snow Mountain, we adjusted the view room type. The lady upgraded the room type at a discount and gave us a breakfast, which was very heartwarming. The hotel's restaurant has rich breakfast and dinner, good environment, and good taste. I was fortunate to see the Rizhao Jinshan Mountain, which was very happy.

After leaving Yubeng Village two days later, I wanted to stay at the winery for a few days, but time did not allow and I regretfully gave up. There are welcome drinks upon check-in, free snacks at the mini bar, afternoon tea every day (flower cakes, yak meat, etc.), and small sweet water in the evening. Very sincere.
The oxygen concentrator in the room relieved our altitude sickness very well, and the humidifier relieved the dryness very well.
The most attractive thing should be the public area on the fourth floor, where the Meili Snow Mountain can be seen at a glance when the weather is good. We didn't see it this time, but it was very quiet because there were few people.

You can see that it is an old hotel and can't really compare with other 5 star hotels on many aspects. But it is probably understandable considering the very remote location. Nevertheless, we were extremely satisfied with their service, especially from Ms Angel. Firstly, they gave us a free room upgrade and even decorated our room nicely after knowing that we were on our honeymoon. Angel also contacted us beforehand to make sure everything was ok, she was so friendly and helpful throughout, and when we were leaving, she even went out of her way to make multiple phone calls to make sure our bus seats back to Shangri-la was secured. Would highly recommend for the hospitality alone.

Since only the most expensive room types were left in Xiashan and Bodu, I couldn't make up my mind so I chose Guanyun. In fact, it was enough. The location and scenery were similar, so there was no need to pursue luxury here. The homestay was warmly decorated, clean and sanitary, and the service was thoughtful. The oxygen supply, floor heating, and projection facilities were all very useful. The rooftop terrace was beautiful to see the snow-capped mountains and the stars.
The floating bathtub in our room was very unique, and the children liked the small tea break area very much. However, from the perspective of viewing, the balcony room would be better, because the glass was very steamy in the morning and it was difficult to see clearly.
The stir-fried dishes for dinner were not bad and the price was affordable. The breakfast was just beautiful for taking pictures. A pretty good red wine was given when checking in, and tea from their own tea house was given before leaving. The overall experience was very good.

We didn’t want to go out at all and could lie in the hotel for a day. On the first day, we were given a cup of warm ginger tea, which warmed our hearts and stomachs and drove away the fatigue of four hours of hiking. We happened to meet Peng Peng, the housekeeper, and Su Yang, the store manager, who went hiking together. They thoughtfully prepared crampons, electrolyte water, and mountain climbing supplies for us. Su Yang, the store manager, helped us carry them throughout the easy hiking, and thoughtfully prepared drones and cameras for us to take photos of life! ! ! ! Professional and thoughtful help was given when we were exhausted on the way. After returning, the boss prepared a humidifier and a fascia gun for us. He prepared headache powder and Rhodiola rosea oral liquid for me. It was so thoughtful!
Secondly, they prepared a delicious breakfast and latte art for us, prepared hiking equipment and professional hiking guidance for us to climb the ice lake, and let us eat the taste of hometown (Changde Jinshi beef noodles) when we came back at night, and felt the warmth from home. Although the drinks are placed in the public area, it always feels a bit strange. Most people who come to Yubeng come to hike. I heard the foot bath bucket from the table next to me when I was having dinner. I clearly told the housekeeper that I had walked for nine hours that day, but I didn’t see it mentioned. Of course, it was delivered quickly after I asked. The hotel provides cleaning and shoe brushing services, and provides a lot of hiking equipment rental.
The lack of service lies in how to serve guests at this price, whether the smile is from the heart, and whether to think about the problem from the customer's perspective.
During the meal in the restaurant, the guests at the next table wanted to add a dish of hot sauce. The waiter directly replied that the kitchen was off work. There was no way. I was stunned. As long as the guests are still in the restaurant, they don’t have to cook a new dish. Praise the service staff of the bar on the third floor, they are still very enthusiastic. I really recommend learning about the service of the company. Design and hardware are important, but service is the real soft power. It is irreplaceable.

I did not receive a call from the hotel before checking in to ask about the check-in time. The front desk explained that it was because the mobile phone number was hidden when booking through Ctrip, but I booked through Ctrip at the end of September. I can only say that this time the booking is not allowed to be cancelled, and the occupancy rate this time is much higher than that at the end of September (the occupancy rate can be compared in the breakfast room in the morning), so I can't take care of it.
