Had a good stay at this property. Building looked historic but inside the rooms, the renovation and equipment were modern and clean. I stayed at room 15, which was one of the smaller rooms and found it to be a bit of a squeeze. Having stayed at so many properties that required £10 to £15 parking fee a night, I really appreciated that there is free street parking right in front of the property until 8am, or off-site parking (which isn’t too far away) till 11:30am.

The hotel was very comfortable and beds were great and clean. Not enough milk and teabags. Room was facing the main road so quite noisy

I’ve been staying at this hotel on and off for 6 years. It needs a facelift. It’s tired, it’s got nothing out of the ordinary. Better is available at the same price. The only redeeming feature is the pool!

We had a great time at the Holiday Inn in Rochester. Tamia, the receptionist, provided excellent customer service and recommended a fantastic Indian restaurant when we requested after hours. The room was basic but clean and equipped with everything we needed. Although we didn't have time to use the pool due to our late arrival, we thoroughly enjoyed the delicious breakfast prepared by the chef. We look forward to staying here again. Thank you!

Lovely hotel, stayed for a long weekend and used the spa facilities - they gave us a free upgrade which was a nice touch! Beautiful grounds, restaurant was lovely and only a short scenic walk to the town Only critique was the pool was quite small without much seating available and the sauna was male or female only - but the rest of the stay and amenities more than made up for it! Also recommend the afternoon tea :)

I loved everything about the hotel,from the ambience to the neatness and polite staff,but I think there should be at least some bottles of water for guests.

I really admire Alex as a hotel practitioner so perfect for taking care of the family hotel! This comment is not to write a simple clean and tidy, good service, good location to express my feelings! I want to say that the layout is very special, very artistic, fully utilized all resources but not crowded, everywhere reflects the high taste and intention of the operator! At the time of the tourism industry has not yet recovered, Alex provides guests with a variety of food and beverage experience. He has great kindness! So this is a highly recommended family hotel! From the White Cliff back to London, a place to stop, the hotel is very quiet, the environment is very good, parking is convenient and free, the hotel restaurant is also good, breakfast is OK, or the price is relatively high

Disappointed with the pool , dirty, no cups available for water, locks broken on doors . Floor slimmy. Room ok but dusty at the bottom of the tea station, fan not working in bathroom, Breakfast was terrible, orange juice was really watery and tasteless , plates too hot and no serviettes provided to hold , cereals were ok , no pastries very poor selection for the price , bread was cheap and soggy and when toasted burnt...yuk ! Too much pepper on the tomatoes , baked beans cheap and nasty , sausages were nice, bacon horrible and cooked in clumps so some were under cooked and some extremely crispy and salty. For the price of £17 a head , I think the breakfast was 1/5. lady staff member was very nice, polite and helpful 5/5. Sorry to say but we won't be back 😞
