4-Star Hotels in Alberta, Canada

It was a very neat and cozy hostel. I went alone and used the room, but it was wider than I thought and the amenities were good. There is also a shuttle bus to the airport, so it's very comfortable. ㅎㅎ

Front desk were kind enough to loan me an iphone charger while I was there which was very much appreciated. The room was comfortable, nice view. I don't normally stay in the hilton hotels so I'm not a member of their little club that gives you access to ”basic” wifi, and I just don't like dishing out all my details so without much of a phone charge to tether off, I resigned myself to reading a book on an evening.

The rooms are spacious and clean, but unfortunately, the air conditioner is a bit noisy. Fortunately, Calgary isn't hot, so there's no need to use the air conditioner. 😜

Great central location with friendly staff. Room upgraded for free due to Marriott membership. Beds are very comfortable. TV has chromecast (took some time setting up). Shower water pressure a tad on the low side w/ water saving shower head. Parked at surface parking right beside the building ($35/night, underground parking available as well).

Very good hotel, you can order omelettes for breakfast, which are also free. I spent a night here, and I was generally satisfied. I highly recommend it, and it is cost-effective. It is a quick drive to the largest West Edmonton Mall in the past. The mall is worth visiting. In addition, you can go to the River Valley Park, where there is an iron bridge that is more than 100 years old.

The hotel is a legendary hotel that opened in 1913 and has been 110 years ago. It is the same hotel where Queen Elizabeth stayed. The front desk upgraded the room type to a top floor room. The room has a large usable space, the bathroom is large, and the equipment is LeLabo. The gym and swimming pool are on the B1 floor of the hotel. The swimming pool is not large, but the temperature of the pool is very comfortable. What impressed me most about this hotel is the Hawthorn Lounge on the first floor of the hotel. Breakfast is served a la carte, with dedicated service. At the end of the meal, a postcard from the hotel is given to you. The location of the hotel is very convenient, just one step away from Calgary Tower and Wonderland Sculpture; the room service is fast.

The receptionist was very cheerful and the room was very clean! It is also located conveniently in Downtown Calgary. However, the temperature of the shower can be a bit tricky to adjust as it will either be too hot or too cold. But I was very satisfied overall and would recommend this hotel to fellow solo travellers!

A great hotel with wonderful service. I spent the full day working from the room and then enjoyed the amenities after. Incredible staff at the front desk and were able to check me in early.

We love the location (next to great Asian food in malls) and a short walk to a river side. The room was also comfy! The breakfast here was also good with hearty serving. You can select a main with adds-on from the breakfast menu. Unfortunately, there was a hiccup during our stay. We obtained approval to shift one morning's inclusive breakfast to another morning due to early morning tour departure. However, this was not conveyed to the restaurant. We disputed the charges when the bill was presented to us. Though the reception officers assured us that no charges would be imposed during our check-out, the hotel still charged the breakfast against our pre-authorised deposit. It took some efforts of liaising with my credit card company and emailing to a generic email (only telephone number listed on their webpage) before I obtained a refund.
