Great value and super convenient location
We had a really good stay at Kings Inn! The room was clean and comfortable, and the whole place had a fun retro vibe that made it feel unique.
The location is super convenient — just a short drive to all the major attractions in San Diego. Parking was easy, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
Definitely a great value for the price. We’d gladly stay here again!
Beware of the staircase with no elevator. Well located and nice communal area. Breakfast was simple but could do with a juice being offered. Started on the low side as the room wasn’t cleaned from previous people when I checked in. The person at the reception quickly changed the sheets and towels but I had to wait until the next day for the room to be properly cleaned so didn’t feel great. Ok but nothing great
This is a stopover on the way back from Yosemite. I booked it on the spur of the moment. The counter staff kindly assisted in providing hot water for instant noodles. There is a supermarket nearby where you can buy food. The room is clean and comfortable. I slept very comfortably. I will come again next time! The breakfast is delicious!
Hotel was clean for the most part, except under the bed which was absolutely disgusting; but who goes under there anyway? The front desk staff were nice, so no complaints there, or anywhere except for parking!! Apparently there is a customer there that is “VIP” (which is what the front desk staff told me) and they are allowed to park their trailer and take up 5 spaces, even though the rest of us paid for our rooms too. My family and I were here on vacation to Disneyland, so the second day we arrived later in the evening back at the lodge. I understand we weren’t going to get our original spot, but there was NO parking. My husband drove the entire lot twice and by pure luck someone had just left, otherwise where would my family and I have parked? Location is great and the staff were friendly, but this experience alone would never allow me to book here again.
The hotel's service is very good. The hotel's location is very convenient, very close to the airport. The hotel also provides airport drop-off service, which is suitable for passengers catching early or late flights. There is a 24-hour airport pick-up service, which is particularly praised. The hotel facilities are complete and the bed is very comfortable!
The location is not bad,
Environment: OK. However, the sound insulation of the room is average, and the sound of people walking upstairs can be felt. Others should be said to match the price corresponding to him.
Very close to downtown Monterey and close to various attractions. It's just that the refrigerator in the room is too noisy at night, but everything else is fine.
This trip to the United States lasted 20 days. Except for the Chinese hotel, everything else was pretty good. It was just a motel. It was safe and convenient. It had a refrigerator, microwave, bath products, and two 1.5-sized beds. It was pretty good. .
Everything is very good, the front desk is friendly, the facilities are complete, and there are plenty of parking spaces. The only problem is that the airport is right next to it, and the noise from the planes taking off and landing at night is too loud, and people with poor sleep quality may not be able to stand it
Bbilge_First time, i stayed at hostel and the hostel was acceptable with location and safety in hostel. Bus stops and metro is prettt easy to use. The people was nice to talk and communicate in hostel. Easy check in-out. The breakfast is not breakfast, just bread, nutella, peanut butter and pancake mix.
Every morning, a lady cleaned the bathroom. Everyone was respectful to be quiet for others in my room; i was lucky✨🤞🏻
LLaurent ZhengTransition hotel, very recommended, the price is too high.
5 minutes drive from the airport, inform the flight in advance, 11 o'clock to pick up the plane on time, very convenient. Hotel room facilities are basically the same as domestic home, very clean, no disposable toothbrush, remember to bring your own. Breakfast is very good, the top floor infinity pool is also very good, think about 200/yuan one night hotel, domestic should not find such a supporting facilities, suitable for the first day and the last day of transition, close your eyes
GGuest UserI like the bedroom everything look clean and comfortable to sleep. I was able to sleep well. Thank you! Would recommend this place I hope to come back again!..
AANASJOI recently stayed at morel 6 and was thoroughly impressed! The **location couldn’t be better**—just minutes away from Hollywood attractions like the Walk of Fame, TCL Chinese Theatre. Whether you’re here for sightseeing or entertainment, everything is easily accessible.
A major plus was how **clean and well-maintained** the rooms and common areas were. Housekeeping did an outstanding job.
Another highlight? **Easy access to public transportation** (metro and buses), making it a breeze to explore LA without needing a car. Whether you’re in town for business or leisure, this hotel offers convenience, comfort, and value.
GGuest UserLocation, cleanliness & facility good/clean. Property description (at the time we booked in April 2025 for July 2025 stay) ”valley view.” No valley view that we could see from our room or anywhere on the property. There is no front desk or live check-in, you have to know to check a chalkboard on the side of what looks like the office. Communication w/the property is to be by text only. We reserved a cabin with 1 queen / 2 twin beds, what we got was 1 queen & a sofa bed (horrible sleep as expected which is why we wanted the two twins). We questioned the reservation (via text) and were told we got what was reserved. After sending a screenshot of our reservation the reply text was ”you can stop by the office if you want”). As we got out of the car the daughter was heard saying ”WELL, I guess we have to DEAL WITH THIS now.” It went downhill from there. We were told it was Trip.com fault (it was not, we confirmed w/Trip.com). Then the manager wanted to argue about why we wouldn't want to sleep on a sofa bed (does it matter? it's not what we reserved) and called one guest ”Hon” repeatedly / condescendingly until asked not to - the daughter jumped in at that point with an escalated attitude. The Manager insisted it was trip.com fault and then said ”we don't even offer twin beds.” So, room was misrepresented to begin with. UNFORTUNATELY, and they knew it, ALL rooms in the area were sold out & we were there for a scheduled event, we had no choice but to stay. AGAIN THIS IS NOT TRIP.COM FAULT, this is the property fault. BE AWARE that all the restaurants have posted hours on their website but may no be accurate, plan to check the location early as they post handwritten signs indicating the current day hours. On a weekend they were closed up before 5pm (some at 3pm), had to travel several towns over to eat. Good idea to bring dinner type food with you just in case. BASSETT'S a good place to eat, cafe w/good food/good prices, small store & gas pump. Dos Hermanos in Sierraville also good. Both several miles away from Yuba River Inn but worth the drive.
PPeterPlus: This is a good, clean, classic highway motel. Check-in went smoothly and the desk clerk was very pleasant. The room was comfortable, of good size. The bed was super-comfortable, so I had a good night's sleep!
The hotel is in Victorville a small city in California's ”High Desert”, which is known as a way-point on the famous ”Route 66” which many decades ago was the major road connecting America's mid-west to its far west. Victorville is also the home town of Roy Rogers and Dale Evans who had a famous cowboy TV show long ago.
Minus: Lots of highway noise. But the most negative thing about the motel is that it is impossible to contact the hotel itself by telephone to confirm issues such as late arrival. Booking companies deliberately hide the true contact information, redirecting customers to an overseas call center that knows nothing about the hotel and is heavily accented to the point that communication was virtually impossible. Although an internet search brings up a phone number from several different sources, that phone number is no longer for the hotel, and gets answered by someone who is clearly tired of telling people that the phone number is NOT for the motel.
In the end a family member who lives in a nearby town had to stop by and talk to the front desk in person.
To add further confusion, the hotel goes by various names: ”Hotel Avenida”, ”Quality Inn”, and ”Oyo Rooms”. (This last name appears to be the result of its recent acquisition by the notorious south Asian Hotel group. Sadly this probably means service degradation will follow)
Good customer service is all about ”the people”. It is dependent on positive contact between a business's staff and customers. The policies of companies like Oyo that work to destroy human contact help ensure bad customer service.
HheesThe hotel owner was friendly! And the facilities were better than I expected. The bathroom was cleaned every two days, which was nice. I was a little surprised by the lighting, but there were no bugs and it was usable. However, I saw a cockroach in the common area early in the morning. I think it came in from outside because the front door is right outside... but I haven't seen it since that day. The soundproofing isn't very good. There's not much information, but shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and a hair dryer are provided, and I think they provide at least one towel per person. It's not a hotel, but a B&B, so it's worth checking out if you're looking to save money.
