CCabbiehkI recently stayed here and was thoroughly impressed by the overall experience. This hostel strikes a perfect balance between functionality, cleanliness, and location. Location & Accessibility The location is a major highlight. It is exceptionally well-connected to the city’s transport network, with trams, metro lines, and buses all within easy reach. Getting around the city was seamless. Additionally, the surrounding area is vibrant and packed with dining options, especially if you are a fan of brunch spots. Facilities & Room Features The hostel is incredibly well-organized. One of the best features is the storage Big Lockers:There is more than enough space to securely store large suitcases, which is often a rarity in hostels. Cleanliness:The shared bathrooms were consistently clean. Amenities: I appreciated the inclusion of shower gel and the availability of hair dryers, making the stay much more comfortable They also provide ear plugs at the corridor to ensure a good sleep. . Food & Social Atmosphere There is an on-site bar that serves as a great social hub. They provide a solid breakfast to start your day and offer a good selection of beer in the evenings. It’s a convenient spot to relax without having to head back out after a long day of sightseeing. This hostel is definitely value for money.. If you're looking for an organized, clean, and perfectly situated base for your travels, I highly recommend it.

Hhyyyy_kaThe rooms and common areas were really clean! The staff were also very kind! The area around the hotel isn't too dark at night, so it feels safe enough to walk around alone if you're careful, and tourist spots are within walking distance, which is super convenient! There aren't curtains on the beds, but it didn't bother me much. The lockers are secured with your room key!

@@travel_with_the_sunVery chaotic and confusing check-in process. Arrived before check-in and got registered, just needed to get my key at check-in time. So far so good. At check-in time I am directed to an iPad terminal to register with with my name and my booking number from the accommodation, not then one on the booking portal, which I've no clue which it is. After me struggling to look-up this number out of countless CRM-emails I received from the Hostel the friendly staff member, looked up my name in the guest list, went back to the receptionist desk to check my check-in amd got my key card to my room. Arrived in the room it didn't matched with the category and pictures I booked. Went back down to the reception, who fixed it. All this took a lot of time and not to mention all the Welcoming and Info-e-mails you receive from Maverick's at any occasion of the ”customer journey” process. To the management and marketing folks there: Keep your check-in process simple. Your visitors are offered to pre-check-in online or at an iPad terminal in the lobby, just to end up queuing again at the reception to identify yourself again, pay the tourist tax or get their key card. It's nonsense. Have a vending machine spitting out the keycard for those cases. Just keep the regular check-in process as anywhere else directly at the reception with showing your passport etc... Stop these insane amount of email at every step of the customer journey, no-one needs this ot also makes it difficult to find one's relevant booking information. Let's come to the positive part. Staff is friendly and helpful. My room was very nice, clean and comfortable, it was a good deal to. Good internet. The kitchen is great, well equipped and a nice place to connect with people. Free coffee and tea, also a water dispenser in the lobby - great! There are many free activities organized by the hostel, we had a wine tasting for free and it was nice to talk to other guest there. Location is central, where you'll find all you need, even mini marts open 24/7. Free locker before and after check-in.

GGuest UserVery welcoming hostel. Clean and family friendly. I have issue to climb up to my bunk bed because the ladder don’t have side handle to pull myself up. Good for younger people but for a 45 years old woman I found it a little bit challenging to get up and down properly. Have public sitting area and toilet after checkout , just need to ask the reception for access code for toilet. There is a pay luggage storage with a small fees. We paid a large storage and manage to leave 3 rucksack in there for 12 hours cost 5 Euro which it is very affordable.

GGuest UserHey Out there, I was there as a solo traveler however I believe the hotel room size can easily accommodate a couple as well. The location is exquisite just within a few hundred meters from the tramway and the metro and bus stops (Oktogon M station)!!! And from and to the airport, you don't even have to take a cab. Just use tramway or metro and then connect to blue bus # 100E (an express bus service to the airport). The receptionist lady, amazing 👏 Her name is Sofia and she's very helpful. She can even suggest you places to visit. If you arrive earlier than official check in time, I can promise you you will enjoy the luggage drop off service and be walking around (or even take a metro or tramway and go have fun somwhere) till you check in. Given that this is a budget hotel, why not stay there? The ball's in your court now...

Overall a value for money option with smart design, ready-to-assist employees at a very nice central location where you can get the Budapest vibes in an affordable economically - and more sociable - way. It is very convenient also that it has box locks inside the bed cabin. It is particular useful for professionals with devices n paperwork so as not to stress over the security of your personal items. GGuest UserThe location of the hotel is very good, with bus and subway stations just outside, and a fast food supermarket downstairs. The service at the front desk was very good, thanks to Adam and Khalil, who were very friendly and tried their best to meet my needs. Especially Adam, when I couldn't find the entrance, he left the front desk to find me and take me into the hotel; I didn't bring a lock, so I put my luggage in the luggage room, and I went to get my belongings many times to ask him to help open the door, and he was not impatient at all.

JJoe0412Not a hostel to get any sleep in. But excellent for the airport bus. Hostel is on a busy main road, lots of traffic noise. Privacy curtains aren't well attached and don't block enough light. The beds are incredibly noisy and the room was hot and stuffy. Sheets not cleaned Service was excellent. The man was so so friendly and kind. Kitchen well equipped. Free tea & coffee. Shower very basic and toilet was good. Just 2 showers and toilets for many people. ... 100E bus is 2 mins away. Metro, tram and bus all nearby. Tone of food options. Wifi was ok Towel is 3 euros to rent. Bring your own padlock
