It's a homestay. Don't use the hotel standard as a guide. If needed, three meals can be provided. The chefs and receptionists are all Chinese. It's very convenient for people in China to go there, and the Chinese food they cook is very suitable for Chinese tastes. The most important point: The address on Ctrip is wrong. You must ask the owner for the correct address in advance before you go. The address on Ctrip is wrong. You must ask the owner for the correct address in advance before you go. Great location, it just costs 40 pounds to Go Bus station and 170 pounds to airport. There are Chinese restaurants surrounded. The check in service is quick and smooth. The boss is very kind and allows us to check in even at 6:00am. Highly recommended

The room is spacious and the accommodation is clean and hygienic. There is also billiards and table tennis. The boss is very nice and answers all your questions. The Chinese food cooked by the black man is also very good. You can also buy and cook your own food. I recommend everyone to come.

The environment is very good. The boss is also very easy to talk to. The ceiling of Chinese people. The food is even more delicious. The facilities are also complete. There is also a washing machine. The washing machine is very clean. The food is nutritious and healthy. You can eat whatever you want. You can also order food in the middle of the night. The beef noodles are superb. They are better than some restaurants in China. I highly recommend friends to come here. I am not a drag.

My stay at the Victoria Hotel was a great experience! The hotel is perfect for modern facilities and a very comfortable stay. Advantages: Location: The hotel is located in a bustling city, with convenient attractions and restaurants. Service: The staff was very friendly and helpful. Patiently answer my questions and recommended many good places for local niche. Environment: The room is clean and tidy, the decoration is very distinctive, retro and exquisite, especially the wooden furniture in the room, which makes people feel warm. Breakfast: Breakfast is rich in choices, traditional Chinese cuisine, it is worth a try! Overall, this stay exceeded my expectations! Whether it is to learn more about Egyptian culture or find a quiet place to rest, this is a great choice. I will definitely recommend it to my friends and hope to have a chance to come again next time!

The hotel is in New Cairo. The boss lady is from Fujian. The food is good and satisfies everyone's Chinese appetite. The room has clean bedding, comfortable bed, quiet, and you can rest well, unlike the noisy night in Old Cairo. No matter how late it is, the boss's own driver provides free airport pick-up. The hotel is also close to the airport. You can exchange Egyptian pounds. After placing an order, the boss lady will take the initiative to contact and add WeChat, which makes communication convenient.

Located in New Cairo, there are big shopping malls and supermarkets 6 minutes walk away. There is a row of ATMs in the mall, and the first one can withdraw money with UnionPay, but there is no UnionPay logo on the machine. The room is large and fully equipped, with a stove, microwave, and refrigerator, but I didn't use them much. The room is clean, but the surrounding environment is dusty. It takes half an hour to take a taxi to the attractions in the old city, which costs more than 20 yuan, so if you think the old city is too dirty, it is better to stay in the new city as much as possible.

I stayed with my family at this hotel, but they left a little earlier than me. My friend wanted to stay there so that we can go out late , come back to the hotel and he would be able to take me to that airport the next day but the hotel rejected him because he is from Ciaro. I tried to apply for a refund but was rejected. I would like to withdraw the previous review, which was written under peer pressure on the( 2nd day) from one of the hotel staff members named : Hindu. The hotel was fine, but some things weren't for 1) discrimination against guests. 2) denying a refund 3) things went missing from the hotel room 4) the shower wasn't always working well 5) the carpet was very damp when I first arrived 5) my other family members had problems with the restroom, dirty water was coming up 6) my aircon wasnt working, i asked several times for help but to no avail 7) the keys were moved from one reception to another without informing guests. 8) pushy staff members are always asking for us to write reviews ( not all the staff members were like this. They were kind, helpful and present) 9) the hotel offers airport transfer but it's really expensive. Uber is much cheaper. * I wouldn't have written, I would've let it just go but but since the hotel refuses to give a refund, I think it's only fair that other know what my REAL experience was like .

DDean MauriceThis hostel has a good location and I would say that it is pretty walkable in the early morning and very late at night but the walking infrastructure is not the best in Cairo. Mid day the traffic makes it very tricky to walk around even though there are many good restaurants and attractions nearby. Finding it is a little tricky but it is down an alley that doesn't allow cards and it is located on floor 2 of an older building. There is an elevator but all doors and gates need to be closed in order for it to work and we found guests at the hostel weren't good at closing after themselves. The staff are very kind and welcoming but we got a bit hung up on the payment. We booked on Trip with the ”Pay at the Hotel” option for 3100 Egyptian pounds for three nights in a private room but they were asking for 3600 when we were checking in. After a little back and forth they let us check in and gave us the keys so we could rest and wait for the manager's answer. The manager said no to our booked rate, we were told we booked on ******* and we now had to pay 3900 Egyptian pounds. I'm at a loss of words for this discrepancy between Trip and the hostel but there weren't better deals in the area we wanted to stay and we very reluctantly paid. The room was just a place to sleep with a box to the side where our shower and toilet were. The box had no ceiling or ventilation so there were smells throughout the room from the drains. The beds were comfy but were not completely clean when we arrived - there was hairs in the bed sheets. The room cleanliness overall could have been better. The area is quiet at night and we got a good night's rest to spend our days exploring Cairo. The breakfast was ok but there wasn't much room to eat in the common areas during our stay so we asked for breakfast in our room during our stay. We had a simple breakfast with a fried egg, cucumbers, tomatoes, cheese, banana, tea/coffee and Arabic bread. It is enough to get you through until lunch and is served starting at 8 pm. There is a convenience store close by that offers fairly priced snacks and drinks which you might want to seek out because they do not provide water at this hostel. We hope this property improves because it seems like it used to be really good and the location is good as well.

GGuest UserWe stayed in a renovated room so bathroom was newly done and the walls were freshly painted. Nice light options to relax with softer light. Curtain and carpet were also new and inviting. Bedding was clean. Bathroom was clean. We enjoyed our stay. It seems that rooms are being updated since other reviews were written. Many reviews seem harsh considering the price you pay. It's a higher end budget stay after all. We got soap, toilet paper and towel. You can't expect everything for a budget price. Reception area was nicely decorated for Ramadan and staff were friendly. Location is great and a fun part of Cairo to explore. Nice night markets! Typical city noises but not too loud to sleep considering its the centre of the city. Balcony sliding doors are new and close but there is no view to mention. Other guests we saw seemed content as they socialised in public area. I prepaid with ********* to avoid payment issues. Public areas do need some more renovation and some repairs but again, it did not reduce the comfort of my stay and it was acceptable being dusted and clean. It's good for Cairo. We enjoyed using the quaint art nouveau gilded style lift! A good experience overall.

GGuest UserWhen we arrived, it was a little difficult to find the building, because there was no sign of Lucky Hostel in the lobby. However a very persistent man outside, insisted that the building with sign “El otel”, is the correct building. We trust him and we entered. Another problem, it looked like to use the elevator to 4th floor, we must have access card. We wait for about 5 minutes and fortunately there was a man came down, and we asked his help to tap on the elevator using his card. Other than that, my husband & I were happy to stay in this hostel. Our room was so big and with sofa too!! Staff were very kind and helpful. Breakfast was good. Hot shower was very pleasant in cold morning. And we were very happy that the staff allow us to put our luggage while we were away to Luxor. We stay for total of 4 nights and we were allowed again to put our luggage while we went shopping, because our flight was in the middle of the night.

MMoh MhfI had an acceptable stay at the Montana Hotel in Cairo. The overall experience was average, especially considering the price point. The service was friendly and helpful—staff were polite and responsive, always willing to assist with any requests. The facilities were basic need to keep an eye on cleaning and functionality of WiFi. The room was tidy and had the essentials, though not particularly luxurious. It’s a good choice for travelers looking for a simple place to stay in a convenient location. As for the food, it was average—breakfast with a small variety of local and continental options. It’s probably not the hotel’s highlight, but it does the job if you’re not expecting gourmet meals. Overall, it’s a budget-friendly option in Cairo with decent service. Great for short stays or if you plan to spend most of your time exploring the city.

GGuest UserThe hotel is quite close to the Egyptian museum, The facility is okay - The place is quite old but clean. The hotel staff here are very nice especially Mr Anas he was quite energetic and really looking forward to service + friendly I didn't expect that he was invites me to the lunch together with them ** note** for someone who cannot sleep with the noise - the hotel is quite close to the Egyptian Street which is always honking the horn. Solution ** ust bring an earplug ( The one that you would receive on in airplane ) and everything's gonna be fine In conclusion this hotel is reasonably priced for this quality. if you don't expect for something luxury but friendly , This hotel could be your choice

GGuest UserRoom is in a good location close to Tahrir Square and Egyptian Museum. You will need to carry your luggage up the stairs for one floor after taking the lift (goes up to the sixth floor) which is something to note if you have heavy luggage. Room is basic but comfortable enough, would like to suggest putting more hooks in the toilet and more electrical outlets.

JJoshDBWThe location is really central, right opposite the Egypt Museum and can be found easily on Uber. The best thing about this hotel is definitely the hospitality of the owners who were always willing to help and chat with us about what we needed or where we wanted to go. Very appreciative of them for that! The room is comfortable enough with working AC and good size bathroom, but be prepared for the noise of traffic from outside as it’s close to a main road. Wifi also didn’t connect well in our room but maybe better for others. Breakfast is simple and more Egyptian/Arabic in style with pita, falafel, cheese and eggs + juice box.

BBorisThe hotel itself is basic. The room and other areas need a little work, but for the price that you pay, it’s worth it. And anyway, you just sleep there. What impressed me was the staff. I don’t have words how amazing the staff there is. I arrived with a toothache and they helped me schedule an appointment and I even got a discount. Every tour I wanted to do , they arranged it for me. The prices were affordable. Thanks to the staff, my before #1 ranked trip just got dethroned by this one. Very thankful to Kimo, Dr. Ahmed and Carlos for taking amazing care of me. Thank you for everything.
