Our stay with The James Rotterdam was honestly amazing, front desk was always friendly and helpful and of course the location of the hotel was great as well!
Everything was perfect up until the night before we checked out. Thankfully we were up a little late as we were packing our luggages to leave the next day, when suddenly we heard our door opened, and a man came in, there seemed to be another one waiting by the door. They didn’t seemed “shock” as if like “hey why were we assigned a room with guests still in it”. They said something in their language and they left the room. Next morning we checked with the front desk, she said she was also handling the night shift and had no one came down to report anything about wrong room assignment. Afterwards we left as we were rushing for the train to the airport and the matter was left like that.
We checked out on 11th May around 620-630am, our room number was 703.
If the hotel could kindly look into this matter, we would much appreciate this. Thank you.

I was a bit unsure abiut staying here once I booked as the reviews were mixed. We arrived and the hotel is basic, has a communal area with free tea/coffee and charging sockets.
The room we were given was not the one i booked, but after talking to reception, she showed ne an alternative room (which was the one I booked) but said it needed cleaning if we wouldn't mind waiting.
We agreed to wait.
It was basic, but had beds, a good rainfall shower, towels and tea/kettle. It was all we needed for the one night and it was as pictured met my expectations for the price we paid. I didnt expect the hiltib paying youth hostel prices.
The breakfast was good and the staff were friendly.
I wouldn't say this is the hotel Id pick for a long stay with a young family, but for price and location to central station for 1 night it was ideal and did the job.
The location is really convenient, it is about six minutes walk from Rotterdam Central Station. The staff members are really helpful and kind as well. The view is really good as well.
location is great, just 3 minutes walk from Central Station, hotel itself is clean and staff are friendly, B'fast is simple but very good enough with cold cut, bakery,.....etc
The breakfast is super!! Despite a 15 EUR extra, it is a good strategy for hotel to separate it from room fee, otherwise it is too expensive.
But the floor height is low and room kinda small, if you add breakfast fee together, the value for price is not as high as the business hotel nearby called Bilderberg Parkhotel Rotterdam.
Nice little garden. Good to stay a night or so, but not much of a resort stay.
24/7 check in/out not a problem.
The staff are warm.
5-10 stairs to carry the suitcase by yourself to the elevator and front door.

GGeneralChaosIbis Styles Delft is a no-nonsense basic business hotel located in the main plaza next to the railway station. It's clean and comfortable and well managed and has a funky space related reception area and lobby.
It's a little thin on extra services that you might normally find in a business hotel however.. for example cannot borrow an umbrella, have to buy one for €15. No bottled water in the room, have to drink from the toilet tap or buy water from the hotel. The lower floors (odd numbered rooms) are dark and a bit gloomy as they face into an enclosed area surrounded by the rest of the hotel, however if you're only sleeping then it's got everything you need. My room was a weird shape and not ideal for business. There was a low sofa and table not the usual desk making laptop work a bit of an effort. The room furniture wasn't very well thought through.
Location is great on the canals and just 2mins from the train station. There's a nice coffee shop on the ground floor and lots of restaurants nearby. There's a small convenience store in the station.
Expensive compared globally, but in line with other local hotels around Delft. Would recommend for business travellers in Delft.

AAnonymous UserIt was hot during the summer so had the window open and it let mosquitoes in the room. Otherwise good clean rooms and good amenities. Comfortable beds.

GGuest UserNice place close to The Hague’s city center, just 2,5km. Clean and friendly staff. Also it has its own dedicated design for each floor. I’ve loved the popcorn machine at the front desk.
GGuest UserDon’t book the rooms in hot summer days. The air conditioner only provides breeze. Not enough to feel cool in the room. The sink is blocked and water goes down slowly.
Especially, we found the receptionists worked super slow and inefficiently. There was so hot in the reception area without air conditioners. The guests complained waited there over 1 hours to line in the queue and checked in. The receptionist just worked in their own time no matter how long the queue was. The receptionist just repeated same thing to different guests slowly. It took us over 45 mins to check in and no body could do a bit early check-in.
The room is clean and good for students but no for professionals. We would never come back again. W
SShatha Al-HmoudI was traveling for personal trip and the hotel was a good choice as I was looking for a low cost stay with reasonable and decent place to stay .. my booking was a single private room and with a private toilet and amenities .. compared to the location and price it was super .. just walking distance from the train station and easy to access services around the city .. the employees were nice and helpful and the neighborhood is quiet and nice .. thank you for a nice stay

GGuest UserBeautiful hotel. Very convenient, 2 mins to Delft Station. Friendly staff. Good cafe. Good security. Free Laundry. I will definitely repeat!
