The hotel's location is fantastic, really close to the second parking lot, making it super convenient for getting in and out. The room decor is modern and comfortable, and the hygiene is excellent. Opening the balcony door, you can watch the bustling crowds on the Misty Rain Corridor directly across. You can enjoy tea, chat, relax, and take in the beautiful scenery of Xitang all at once. Because we booked two nights, the owner even gave us complimentary Xitang tickets. This meant we could enter and exit the scenic area freely for several days and visit all the small attractions within Xitang. If we ever got tired from exploring, we could just pop back to the hotel for a quick rest – it couldn't have been more relaxing! It was so much better than the usual rush of a one-day tour. Xitang is definitely a worthwhile place to visit, and staying here is an absolutely perfect choice for your trip to Xitang.

You truly understand what a five-star hotel experience should be like only after staying in a five-star hotel in Zhejiang. In short: Absolutely recommend it! If you're coming to Shaoxing, you *must* stay at the Shaoxing Hotel at least once! **Ambiance**: As Shaoxing's traditional state guesthouse, it's beautiful and grand, a tranquil oasis tucked away at a bustling street corner. From the moment you drive into the hotel lobby, there's just one feeling – this money was well spent. **Facilities**: We booked a loft in Building 8, which is perfect for traveling with parents. Three adults in one family don't need to book two rooms; you can be together while still maintaining relatively independent spaces. The independent bathroom upstairs was a pleasant surprise. **Parking**: Although the hotel is large, there's ample parking, thoughtfully accommodating the needs of each building. Both ground-level and underground parking are available in front of Building 8, complete with charging piles. You can park your car and take the elevator directly upstairs, completely avoiding the hassle of dragging luggage through the massive hotel. **Service**: It boasts the kind of service you'd expect from a five-star hotel. From the moment our car pulled up to the lobby, someone was there to guide us, help with luggage, and assist with check-in. The shuttle bus continuously transports guests between the various buildings, which is very convenient. Especially in the morning, as soon as you step downstairs, there are staff members directing you to the breakfast area, and the shuttle bus is already waiting. In short, any time I felt the need for service, it was readily provided – excellent! **Breakfast**: I *must* commend the breakfast! In an era where pre-made dishes are everywhere, it's truly rare to find such a rich and varied breakfast that clearly isn't pre-made! Many specialty pastries are being freshly prepared by chefs right before your eyes. The 68 RMB per person buffet breakfast is highly recommended! Also, during holidays, it can get crowded, but several hotel managers were on-site, guiding guests to tables, instructing servers to clear tables promptly, and responding to various customer requests. I haven't seen this level of service in a long time; it felt very reassuring and comfortable. **Final Thoughts**: In recent years, while my parents are still active, I've been taking them to explore different cities across the country. Along the way, I've had disappointing experiences at various so-called ”old-brand five-star” hotels, which made me distrustful of five-star establishments, preferring instead to choose Huazhu or Atour. This time, our New Year's Day trip was primarily for leisure, and we chose Shaoxing Hotel because we wanted a loft-style room. It turned out to be the highlight of our entire trip. The hotel's配套 seasonal Cantonese restaurant is also delicious and equally recommended!

Choosing this hotel for our trip was absolutely the right decision! The location is fantastic – just a ten-minute walk to the scenic spots, so no need to rush for transportation early in the morning. It was super convenient to pop back to the hotel for a rest when we got tired. Plus, there are several local eateries nearby, making evening food hunts incredibly easy. When we checked in, the front desk even proactively recommended some less-known sightseeing routes, which was a really thoughtful touch. Our room on the fourth floor had an amazing view; we could pull back the curtains and see the Southern Song Imperial Street right outside, perfect for photos. The room's cleanliness was impeccable; the sheets and duvet covers were spotless, and the bathroom's wet/dry separation was well-done, so the floor wasn't soaking wet after a shower. There was plenty of hot water and excellent water pressure, which was wonderful for a relaxing hot shower after a full day of exploring. The hotel's breakfast selection wasn't huge, but it was fresh. The freshly cooked noodles and wontons were delicious and very authentic with the toppings – we really enjoyed them. The soundproofing was also good; with the windows closed at night, we barely heard any street noise, allowing us to sleep soundly until we naturally woke up. For this price point, the experience was incredible – truly excellent value for money. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit to the area!

I had a great stay at the Sheraton in Huzhou, which sits right on the beautiful Taihu Lake. The hotel itself is a major attraction, and every room comes with amazing views and excellent facilities. The villas are especially impressive, each one has its own hot spring and a private swimming pool, which makes the experience even more relaxing. The hot spring area at the hotel is super comfortable, and the night light show is absolutely spectacular. Walking around the lake and around the hotel feels peaceful and enjoyable. A special thanks to Ms. Lucy Liu from the front office. She speaks good English and acted almost like a personal butler during my stay. She helped with everything, planning the hot spring visit, suggesting nearby boating options, and offering support whenever needed. Her kindness really made my stay even better. This hotel is great for solo travelers, couples, and families. Highly recommended!

I saw a great deal for a package on Double 11 and quickly booked it to spend New Year's Day at Wang Zhuang. The renovated Building 6 has excellent hardware – the heating is ample, facilities are comprehensive, and it's spotlessly clean. It's also not far from the Peony Hall, Yaoyuan, and the front desk, offering a great environment and convenience. New Year's Day was peak check-in time, and we didn't get our room until 3 PM. The lobby was packed, but the staff handling luggage storage and check-in were incredibly friendly. I asked about the progress several times, and each time they patiently helped me check, and the room we eventually got was very satisfying. The lady at the lobby's rest area kept refilling our tea and bringing snacks. The bellhops and shuttle drivers were very enthusiastic, opening car doors and helping with luggage. We are all very grateful for their service. During our stay, we wanted to visit Orioles Singing in the Willows but were deterred by the crowds, so we just walked around the hotel instead. The hotel's lakeside offers expansive views, directly facing Three Ponds Mirroring the Moon and Mid-Lake Pavilion. To the left is Su Causeway, and to the right, you can see Chenghuang Pavilion. It's quiet with few people. Compared to squeezing through crowds to see the sights outside, here you essentially have a private stretch of West Lake. Taking a stroll after dinner or an early morning walk are both excellent choices, with fresh air and birdsong and fragrant flowers. The package also included a buffet, which I didn't have high hopes for, but it turned out to be surprisingly delicious! There were hairy crabs, shrimp, and seafood, all very fresh. Breakfast was also great; I particularly loved the fluffy fried dough sticks, which were super tasty, along with smoked salmon and freshly squeezed juice – quite a high-end offering. The only minor drawback was the noodle station, which was mediocre, and besides the tiramisu, I didn't find any desserts I particularly liked. The puff pastry was soggy, like it had been exposed to moisture, so I didn't eat much of it later. Peony Hall is my favorite; I personally think it's better than Ziwei Hall 😋. None of the dishes I ordered disappointed; the chicken soup and other dishes were all authentic, and I loved the Osmanthus Nine-Bend Red Plum tea, which I've been buying every year since my last stay. Many leaves have fallen in winter, but I'll definitely come back in autumn to see West Lake in its most beautiful season 🥰

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Giraffe Manor Hotel and truly enjoyed every moment. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The hotel is beautifully located in nature, very peaceful and scenic. Waking up surrounded by bamboo forest and seeing giraffes so close was a unique and unforgettable experience. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with great attention to detail. The service deserves special praise. The staff were extremely kind, attentive, and always ready to help. We would especially like to thank the manager, Xiao Wang, for his professionalism, care, and warm attitude. He made sure everything was perfect and that we felt safe and well taken care of during our stay. Amenities were excellent, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the overall experience felt truly special. This is a place that creates beautiful memories, not just a hotel stay. We highly recommend Giraffe Manor Hotel to anyone looking for a unique, high-quality, and heart-warming experience. We would love to come back again.

What a fantastic stay! From the moment I drove in and was greeted by the gate attendant, I could feel the warmth of a state guesthouse. The garden-view king room offered expansive views, and the private courtyard was perfect for enjoying tea and sunshine. The electric curtains and shower curtain were a nice convenience. The TV could use an upgrade in size, but what I didn't expect was underfloor heating in the marble areas – a pleasant surprise! The bedding was incredibly comfortable, and the thin duvet was surprisingly warm. After going out for photos and dinner in the afternoon, I returned to find that Auntie Liu had prepared turndown service and left some biscuits, which made me very happy. The 'First Garden of West Lake' is incredibly picturesque, with fewer crowds, and even on an overcast day, it's great for photos, offering private garden and lake views. The breakfast selection was incredibly rich, even featuring Hangzhou specialties like Pian'er Chuan noodles and Cong Bao Hui (fried spring onion pancakes). The only downside was how hot the restaurant was. I dressed warmly when leaving my room, but started sweating as soon as I got some food. The table next to me was also complaining about the heat – I wonder if it was an isolated incident. The guesthouse's south gate offers a shuttle service, so even without a car, public transportation is convenient, and taxis can drive right in. All in all, the entire experience was excellent and up to the standards of a state guesthouse! If you want an immersive experience of West Lake, this is definitely the place to be!

This is my first time writing a positive review, folks. I'm usually too lazy to bother, but the service and environment here were so exceptional that I had to take the time to share it and recommend this guesthouse to anyone looking for a place to stay! We spent a long time choosing, and this place offered the best value for money. First off, the service was truly outstanding. The owner was incredibly welcoming. My friend and I suffer from motion sickness and were quite disoriented when we arrived at the hotel entrance. The front desk attendant, who I believe was the owner, immediately helped us by opening the door and carrying our luggage to our room. Later, even though check-out was at 12 PM, they didn't rush us at all. When we were finally leaving, they even carried our luggage to the front door and waited with us for a taxi. Truly exceptional! The environment was also great. Our room was spotless, the bed was incredibly soft, and to my surprise, the toilet was even smart! The hotel's interior is very photogenic! I took a few pictures, and on a sunny day, it looked absolutely beautiful! The breakfast was also incredibly rich and varied. And you don't have to worry about oversleeping because breakfast is served until after 10 AM. The breakfast itself was delicious. As soon as you arrive at the restaurant, your food is brought out quickly. My absolute favorite was the diced radish with congee – it was out of this world! The soy milk was also very good. I'm not usually a big fan of soy milk, but this one was light and not too sweet. They even deliver takeout right to your room, so you don't have to climb stairs. It's also very close to the scenic spots, just a leisurely ten-minute walk away. Another touching detail: when we were checking out and moving our suitcases downstairs, the front desk attendant heard us and immediately rushed up to help us carry them down! I was genuinely touched 🥹

Came to Hangzhou with my family to watch a game, specifically chose to stay at the Intercontinental, and our 3-day experience was great. It was quiet and comfortable. Even though there are many rooms, the service was well-organized. It was very convenient to go to the Olympic Sports Center for the game (later found out the subway was even faster than a taxi). There are also various shopping malls nearby for dining and strolling, which was very convenient. Previously, when I came to Hangzhou, I only stayed near West Lake, so this time, staying in the new urban area was a really good experience!

There are Tremella soup and tea eggs for midnight snacks in the evening. Parking is convenient. The surrounding subway is not very convenient. There is a villa garden next to it where you can take a walk and drink tea and coffee.

MM1435****The breakfast here is a must-try – truly a delightful surprise! They have a huge selection of both Chinese and Western options. The freshly-made noodle station offers very flavorful toppings, and the dessert section is both beautiful to look at and delicious. Plus, there's fresh fruit! The environment is bright and clean, and the service is incredibly warm and thoughtful. I especially want to commend Cindy and Giselle; they were patient and attentive throughout. GGuest UserOur party of 3 adults spent 3 nights at the Fuchun Mountain Golf Resort in early 12/2024.  We came to Fuchun to see the scenaries that had inspired the famous 富春山居圖 painting.  We booked 2 basic rooms (Linyin Garden View), but received free upgrades (Guizhou Lake View) at check in.  I must admit our initial feelings as we arrived was one of creeping doubt, because the Fuyang city streets we had driven through (we drove in from the Hangzhou Xihu area) were very industrial, just giant factories one after another and the immediate area outside the property was just a bunch of small suburban farm homes and shops.  Furthermore, as our car pulled up to the front lobby entrance, no one greeted us.  Not a soul was in sight.  Our driver had to poke his head inside and announce guests are here and service is needed.  From there on, however, things only got better and better.  So, yes, this was a quiet property.  There wasn’t a lot of staff standing about.  But, there was enough personnel to provide all the basic services expected.  And I found they were very friendly, quick to respond, and efficient.  During our 3.5 days here, we explored and enjoyed this beautiful hotel inside and out.  The hotel itself (the main building) was simply grand.  Its design and decor was a perfect balance of East Meets West, modernized traditional, understated elegance.  The layout was a bit of a labyrinth.  There were wings, corridors, and stairs you can go down to find restaurants, spa/gym/pool, conference rooms, sitting nooks, a small boat dock, and even an impressive collection of embroidery art on display.  Our rooms were large and airy, spotless, the ceiling was high, and the windows opened onto the lake.  The bathroom was spacious with a double sink and lots of counter space.  Beds and pillows were very comfortable, definitely in line with 5 star international standards.  Outside, there was a man-made lake with 2 groups of swans (or were they white geese?).  They crisscrossed the lake during the day and slept below our windows at night.  There was also a little children’s playground (with a pair of ducks) and what looked like a small amphitheater.  Several short paths allowed us to walk the sizable grounds.  Early one morning, we followed one across a little brook to the edge of the tea terrace.  Another morning, we strolled down a road flanked by bamboo that led to the beautiful villas that stood apart from the main hotel.  Everywhere, the atmosphere was tranquil and the views spectacular.  We ate most of our meals at the hotel since we were unfamiliar with the area and didn’t really want to go out looking (this was the end of a 2 week trip).  We tried both of the restaurants on-site (the Chinese and the Western/Fusion) and thought they were fine overall, since food/ingredients were fresh and of good quality.  Taste and craft were okay, not great but acceptable.  In truth, we were probably not too demanding at this point, as we had already gorged out during our previous stay in the HZ/Xihu area.  In summary, our family really liked the Fuchun Mountain Golf Resort.  We were very comfortable during our short stay.  We really appreciated the quiet calmness of the place as well as the warm service provided by the entire staff.  We would love to return.  It was an easy car ride from the HZ city area, and it was easy to hire cars to nearby and more distant attractions.  Lastly, for those interested in the 富春山居圖, there is a replica of the painting (both parts and to scale) displayed downstairs in the spa :)

WWutongxiyangThe service here is quite unique. At first, it didn't feel as warmly welcoming as a Four Seasons, Aman, or Banyan Tree. However, after staying for two days, the responsiveness was excellent, and it actually felt more in line with the Naked Stables' vibe, helping us connect more with nature. Keira also upgraded us to a treehouse villa, which had barbecue facilities and a kitchen, making it perfect for families with multiple children. The spacious activity area made our vacation even more relaxing. Room service was good, and the timing was fine. The organic vegetable salad for breakfast was great, and the bread was baked in-house. Compared to other hotels in the same price range, the breakfast at Banyan Tree is quite underwhelming. The hotel offers a wide range of activities, including archery, horseback riding, off-roading, and hiking. We also visited Naked Castle, which was very photogenic and suitable for younger people, and great for escaping the summer heat. All in all, it was a perfect vacation. The only minor issue was the air conditioner noise from under the villa, which is a common problem with this type of product. Hotels like Chuanyu, Shaoxing An, Sanya Banyan Tree, and Yangzhou Slender West Lake Resort all have similar issues. It's difficult to rectify, as the air conditioning units need to be placed in a public area or on a separate foundation during the hotel's construction to avoid vibration and noise problems.

DDarren.ZhangI've stayed here many times, and the front desk agent was Xiao Yan again. I think I've seen her before, but I misheard her name as 'Ye'. I stayed one night and barely slept at all. Yan'an Road is right downstairs, and the New Year's Eve celebrations were incredibly noisy. At 3 AM, I contacted Trip.com, and they kept an eye on my request until they moved me to a quiet room, which was even larger than the previous one. The hotel staff are well-trained and polite. I forgot my toothpaste, so I opened a disposable one, and the next day, the cleaning auntie kindly gave me another small Hakka toothpaste. The hotel offers great value for money, is within walking distance to West Lake, and has two subway lines right outside – it's hard to find a more convenient location!

__M1303350****The hotel's location is excellent, and the entire decor has a Republican China-era style, which is very elegant and full of atmosphere. The hotel offers a buffet breakfast with a good variety of options. The service is exceptional; they contacted us in advance, provided a free room upgrade, offered shuttle service to and from the parking lot, and waived the parking fee. Makabaka was also very thoughtful and attentive, giving us guidance on touring the scenic area. Overall, we felt very much at home, and I'd definitely recommend it to friends.

DDafeigeのlvxingji🌿 **Ambiance & Environment** This might be one of the hotels with the most breathtaking views I've ever stayed in! Our room offered an unparalleled vista – truly a 'living painting' the moment you open the window. From the moment we drove through the hotel gates, the meticulous and thoughtful service was evident; staff guided us all the way, so we never worried about getting lost. After parking, the hotel provided dedicated internal shuttles for pick-up and drop-off, making it completely hassle-free and elevating the whole experience. Waking up in the morning, gently drawing back the curtains, and watching the mist drift through the mountains, changing with the light – it was truly a sight so beautiful I couldn't tear my eyes away 🤩. Even doing nothing but lying in the room and soaking in the view brought immense joy. 🍴 **Dining Experience** The cliffside restaurant is an absolute must-visit! Perched right on the edge of the cliff, it features floor-to-ceiling windows that offer panoramic views of the entire valley the moment you sit down. We were incredibly fortunate to secure a table with the best view; the expansive vista was simply stunning. Eating breakfast while watching the clouds and mist dance through the valley was profoundly therapeutic. Breakfast offered a rich and diverse selection, a perfect blend of Chinese and Western options, ensuring you'd never get tired of it. I must especially commend the rice noodles – with three distinct toppings, each bursting with fresh, savory flavor that left me craving more! I ordered them two days in a row; the more I ate, the more I loved them 😋. 😄 **Overall Experience** If you're looking for a romantic getaway for an anniversary, or a relaxing weekend road trip within the Jiangsu-Zhejiang-Shanghai region, this place is absolutely perfect! There's no need to meticulously plan an itinerary; the hotel itself is a 'self-contained holiday haven'. The complimentary activities alone are enough to fill a day: archery, billiards, craft-making... each one was engaging and fun. The paid activities were also reasonably priced. We tried both pottery and the spa, and highly recommend them. The entire experience was both relaxing and engaging, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves and truly 'slow down and savor the moment'. ✨ **Special Thanks** **Butler Xiao Chen**: The person who touched me the most throughout our stay! Not only were they professional and efficient, perfectly arranging all our small requests, but they were also incredibly thoughtful, often anticipating details we hadn't even considered. For instance, reminders for shuttle times, activity bookings, and little surprises in the room... they truly elevated the joy of our wedding anniversary trip. It genuinely felt less like staying at a hotel and more like being cared for by an old friend – incredibly heartwarming 💖. **Spa Therapist Sijia Celia**: Her professional and skillful techniques combined with gentle service truly healed my soul and left me completely relaxed. Afterwards, I felt light in body and mind, and utterly refreshed. **Craft Class Teachers Dina & Fern**: They were incredibly patient while guiding us through making fragrance sachets, providing step-by-step instructions and even encouraging us to add our own creative touches. The final products were not only beautiful but also imbued with wonderful memories. **Pottery & Painting Instructor Deng Chensi Sam**: Very professional, explained everything in detail, and gave us lots of inspiration and suggestions. He even thoughtfully added us on WeChat so we could track the firing and delivery progress of our pieces at any time. He truly embodies 'delivering peace of mind'! **Archery Instructor 🏹**: He was absolutely fantastic! His instruction was very professional, and the atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable. We even participated in an archery competition and surprisingly won a prize! He called immediately to inform us and personally delivered the prize to our room. That moment truly warmed our hearts~

MM300526****I was a bit surprised by the price at first, and curious to see what kind of service I'd get for it! 1: We arrived at 1 AM, and the owner, who usually finishes at 10:30 PM, waited up for us until 1 AM, and even helped us carry our luggage upstairs! 2: Whenever the owner sees you coming in or going out, they'll open the door for you! Service is top-notch. 3: If you want to eat breakfast in your room, that's fine too; the owner will even bring it up for you! And the breakfast is incredibly generous! 4: The whole room was very clean and hygienic, and we had a very comfortable stay. The underfloor heating was just turned on a bit too early, haha. It was too hot at night, and we had to turn it off before we could sleep. 5: There are two very cute cats that aren't afraid of people. 6: Also, I drove here, and parking fees in this area are very expensive. The owner waived the parking fee for me, which saved me over 200 yuan. I almost felt bad about it! In short, it was an excellent value! I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit West Lake.
