The hotel's location is fantastic, really close to the second parking lot, making it super convenient for getting in and out. The room decor is modern and comfortable, and the hygiene is excellent. Opening the balcony door, you can watch the bustling crowds on the Misty Rain Corridor directly across. You can enjoy tea, chat, relax, and take in the beautiful scenery of Xitang all at once. Because we booked two nights, the owner even gave us complimentary Xitang tickets. This meant we could enter and exit the scenic area freely for several days and visit all the small attractions within Xitang. If we ever got tired from exploring, we could just pop back to the hotel for a quick rest – it couldn't have been more relaxing! It was so much better than the usual rush of a one-day tour. Xitang is definitely a worthwhile place to visit, and staying here is an absolutely perfect choice for your trip to Xitang.

You truly understand what a five-star hotel experience should be like only after staying in a five-star hotel in Zhejiang. In short: Absolutely recommend it! If you're coming to Shaoxing, you *must* stay at the Shaoxing Hotel at least once! **Ambiance**: As Shaoxing's traditional state guesthouse, it's beautiful and grand, a tranquil oasis tucked away at a bustling street corner. From the moment you drive into the hotel lobby, there's just one feeling – this money was well spent. **Facilities**: We booked a loft in Building 8, which is perfect for traveling with parents. Three adults in one family don't need to book two rooms; you can be together while still maintaining relatively independent spaces. The independent bathroom upstairs was a pleasant surprise. **Parking**: Although the hotel is large, there's ample parking, thoughtfully accommodating the needs of each building. Both ground-level and underground parking are available in front of Building 8, complete with charging piles. You can park your car and take the elevator directly upstairs, completely avoiding the hassle of dragging luggage through the massive hotel. **Service**: It boasts the kind of service you'd expect from a five-star hotel. From the moment our car pulled up to the lobby, someone was there to guide us, help with luggage, and assist with check-in. The shuttle bus continuously transports guests between the various buildings, which is very convenient. Especially in the morning, as soon as you step downstairs, there are staff members directing you to the breakfast area, and the shuttle bus is already waiting. In short, any time I felt the need for service, it was readily provided – excellent! **Breakfast**: I *must* commend the breakfast! In an era where pre-made dishes are everywhere, it's truly rare to find such a rich and varied breakfast that clearly isn't pre-made! Many specialty pastries are being freshly prepared by chefs right before your eyes. The 68 RMB per person buffet breakfast is highly recommended! Also, during holidays, it can get crowded, but several hotel managers were on-site, guiding guests to tables, instructing servers to clear tables promptly, and responding to various customer requests. I haven't seen this level of service in a long time; it felt very reassuring and comfortable. **Final Thoughts**: In recent years, while my parents are still active, I've been taking them to explore different cities across the country. Along the way, I've had disappointing experiences at various so-called ”old-brand five-star” hotels, which made me distrustful of five-star establishments, preferring instead to choose Huazhu or Atour. This time, our New Year's Day trip was primarily for leisure, and we chose Shaoxing Hotel because we wanted a loft-style room. It turned out to be the highlight of our entire trip. The hotel's配套 seasonal Cantonese restaurant is also delicious and equally recommended!

The hotel room was very clean and tidy. It's located right next to Jianguo North Road, very close to the Wulin Pier of the Grand Canal, where you can take a water bus for just a few yuan to tour Hangzhou. The front desk service was excellent; they allowed early check-in, and we could store our luggage after check-out. Highly recommended!

Choosing this hotel for our trip was absolutely the right decision! The location is fantastic – just a ten-minute walk to the scenic spots, so no need to rush for transportation early in the morning. It was super convenient to pop back to the hotel for a rest when we got tired. Plus, there are several local eateries nearby, making evening food hunts incredibly easy. When we checked in, the front desk even proactively recommended some less-known sightseeing routes, which was a really thoughtful touch. Our room on the fourth floor had an amazing view; we could pull back the curtains and see the Southern Song Imperial Street right outside, perfect for photos. The room's cleanliness was impeccable; the sheets and duvet covers were spotless, and the bathroom's wet/dry separation was well-done, so the floor wasn't soaking wet after a shower. There was plenty of hot water and excellent water pressure, which was wonderful for a relaxing hot shower after a full day of exploring. The hotel's breakfast selection wasn't huge, but it was fresh. The freshly cooked noodles and wontons were delicious and very authentic with the toppings – we really enjoyed them. The soundproofing was also good; with the windows closed at night, we barely heard any street noise, allowing us to sleep soundly until we naturally woke up. For this price point, the experience was incredible – truly excellent value for money. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit to the area!

I had a great stay at the Sheraton in Huzhou, which sits right on the beautiful Taihu Lake. The hotel itself is a major attraction, and every room comes with amazing views and excellent facilities. The villas are especially impressive, each one has its own hot spring and a private swimming pool, which makes the experience even more relaxing. The hot spring area at the hotel is super comfortable, and the night light show is absolutely spectacular. Walking around the lake and around the hotel feels peaceful and enjoyable. A special thanks to Ms. Lucy Liu from the front office. She speaks good English and acted almost like a personal butler during my stay. She helped with everything, planning the hot spring visit, suggesting nearby boating options, and offering support whenever needed. Her kindness really made my stay even better. This hotel is great for solo travelers, couples, and families. Highly recommended!

This hotel boasts an excellent location and environment, perfect for family trips with seniors and children. We stayed for two days over the weekend, and there was no need to venture out; we simply ate, lived, and explored within the hotel's beautiful grounds. I've previously stayed at hotels on three sides of West Lake, including the West Lake State Guesthouse, but I won't choose this area again. The transportation access is quite inconvenient. Most rooms likely don't offer lake views, though it's not a far walk to the lakeside. The hotel facilities are decent and well-maintained, with all the essentials. The toiletries are Guerlain. In my room, the toilet lid would cover the flush button when lifted, which was quite annoying. The room's door lock was also temperamental; the deadbolt wouldn't engage. I'm unsure if the air conditioning is centrally controlled, as I could only adjust the fan speed, which led to me sweating indoors in the middle of winter, unable to even use the duvet. Because the room was so hot, there were also mosquitoes in winter, more than one buzzing around. The hotel service was convenient, with golf carts available for transport around the grounds. The room cleaning was also well done. However, it seemed they were reluctant to provide extra slippers during a multi-day stay, which wasn't ideal. We arrived on Sunday morning, and the hotel was extremely busy. They wouldn't allow early check-in, and we waited a long time. Even after an expensive and unappetizing lunch at the hotel's Peony Pavilion, we still couldn't check in. The customer service representative who assisted me added me on WeChat but then didn't reply to messages or answer calls, citing busyness. I then wondered, why add on WeChat if they're not going to respond? Is it just for a good review? Are customer needs and privacy not important? When booking this hotel, several services were bundled, such as travel photography, and upon arrival, we received several vouchers for the buffet dinner, café, and lunch. In reality, the hotel's dining is mediocre and primarily expensive. If you want to savor Hangzhou's local cuisine, I suggest finding an old reputable restaurant outside. The hotel also offers boat tours starting at 10 AM, which are ridiculously expensive; over 200 yuan plus a service charge, and require a reservation, while the most luxurious painted boats at the lakeside dock only cost a few dozen yuan. There are also afternoon garden tours and options like ordering fruit pillows. I recommend the hotel reduce these scattered extra activities and offer more competitive pricing!

Giraffe Manor in winter offers a unique kind of healing! We stayed in a private wooden cabin surrounded by a bamboo forest. With three floor-to-ceiling windows, we could push them open to a view of green bamboo and snowy scenery. The room was wonderfully warm, and the mini-bar thoughtfully stocked with snacks. The shuttle service was incredibly convenient, always available on call. Even though it was the depths of winter, the interactive experiences weren't compromised at all. When the temperature rose a bit around noon, we could go outside to feed the giraffes. For just 30 yuan, you get a portion of carrots, unlocking the chance for a close-up photo. Their soft breath mixed with the sunshine, creating incredibly heartwarming photos. The manor's long corridors and the poolside area are perfect for travel photography; with the afternoon sun shining down, light-colored outfits against the bamboo background make for stunning, nature-inspired shots effortlessly. Besides the giraffes, the cute raccoons and giant tortoises at the petting zoo were adorable. The indoor children's play area and archery activities were great for occupying time on chilly days. The evening bonfire party had an amazing atmosphere, gathering around the fire to warm up and chat instantly chased away the cold. The service was excellent throughout. Staff members proactively gave warm-up tips and even recommended scenic photo spots. The travel photographer was fantastic, capturing amazing candid shots. The manor in winter, with less hustle and bustle, offered more tranquility. Whether it's a family trip or an outing with friends, you're sure to make wonderful memories. It's definitely worth revisiting many times!

What a fantastic stay! From the moment I drove in and was greeted by the gate attendant, I could feel the warmth of a state guesthouse. The garden-view king room offered expansive views, and the private courtyard was perfect for enjoying tea and sunshine. The electric curtains and shower curtain were a nice convenience. The TV could use an upgrade in size, but what I didn't expect was underfloor heating in the marble areas – a pleasant surprise! The bedding was incredibly comfortable, and the thin duvet was surprisingly warm. After going out for photos and dinner in the afternoon, I returned to find that Auntie Liu had prepared turndown service and left some biscuits, which made me very happy. The 'First Garden of West Lake' is incredibly picturesque, with fewer crowds, and even on an overcast day, it's great for photos, offering private garden and lake views. The breakfast selection was incredibly rich, even featuring Hangzhou specialties like Pian'er Chuan noodles and Cong Bao Hui (fried spring onion pancakes). The only downside was how hot the restaurant was. I dressed warmly when leaving my room, but started sweating as soon as I got some food. The table next to me was also complaining about the heat – I wonder if it was an isolated incident. The guesthouse's south gate offers a shuttle service, so even without a car, public transportation is convenient, and taxis can drive right in. All in all, the entire experience was excellent and up to the standards of a state guesthouse! If you want an immersive experience of West Lake, this is definitely the place to be!

This is my first time writing a positive review, folks. I'm usually too lazy to bother, but the service and environment here were so exceptional that I had to take the time to share it and recommend this guesthouse to anyone looking for a place to stay! We spent a long time choosing, and this place offered the best value for money. First off, the service was truly outstanding. The owner was incredibly welcoming. My friend and I suffer from motion sickness and were quite disoriented when we arrived at the hotel entrance. The front desk attendant, who I believe was the owner, immediately helped us by opening the door and carrying our luggage to our room. Later, even though check-out was at 12 PM, they didn't rush us at all. When we were finally leaving, they even carried our luggage to the front door and waited with us for a taxi. Truly exceptional! The environment was also great. Our room was spotless, the bed was incredibly soft, and to my surprise, the toilet was even smart! The hotel's interior is very photogenic! I took a few pictures, and on a sunny day, it looked absolutely beautiful! The breakfast was also incredibly rich and varied. And you don't have to worry about oversleeping because breakfast is served until after 10 AM. The breakfast itself was delicious. As soon as you arrive at the restaurant, your food is brought out quickly. My absolute favorite was the diced radish with congee – it was out of this world! The soy milk was also very good. I'm not usually a big fan of soy milk, but this one was light and not too sweet. They even deliver takeout right to your room, so you don't have to climb stairs. It's also very close to the scenic spots, just a leisurely ten-minute walk away. Another touching detail: when we were checking out and moving our suitcases downstairs, the front desk attendant heard us and immediately rushed up to help us carry them down! I was genuinely touched 🥹

MM335447****The hotel I chose when traveling with friends to Hangzhou is surrounded by a well-developed subway and bus network, and it is easy to reach popular attractions such as the West Lake and Hefang Street. Whether it is a business trip or a leisure trip, it can save a lot of commuting time. The hotel has its own parking lot, and parking is also very convenient. From the moment you step into the hotel, you can feel the enthusiasm and professionalism of the staff. The receptionist at the front desk is friendly with a smile, and the check-in process is efficient and smooth; the room service is meticulous, whether it is midnight snack delivery or luggage storage, it can respond to needs quickly, and truly make ”guests feel at home”. The overall hygiene of the room is excellent, the bedding is as white as new, and it is changed for each guest, which makes people feel at ease; the bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas, without water stains and odors, and the quality is reflected in the details. The service attitude of the front desk guy Xiao Cai is very friendly. When checking in, he took the initiative to ask about the room arrangement requirements, and introduced the surrounding travel and midnight snacks. I forgot to bring the charger when I went out, and he took the initiative to lend me his charger. If there is a need, he will help solve the problem as soon as possible, and I will recommend friends and family to stay

__WeChat54958****Before arriving, I read quite a few reviews and honestly had some concerns. I had initially planned to book two rooms, but due to a mix-up and booking late, I only managed to secure one. With a 'what-the-heck' attitude, I called, and Ms. Shao Linfang from the reservations department answered. She said she'd help me confirm. Although I couldn't get the second room, she was incredibly responsive, upgraded my existing room, and even arranged for a fruit platter. She also proactively asked if I needed children's amenities, which were prepared and ready in the room, along with a mini-bar. It truly lives up to its reputation as a seasoned five-star hotel; the overall service standard is consistently excellent. Crucially, the hotel's location is superb. Wulin Night Market is right downstairs, and West Lake is just a 10-minute walk away. This was incredibly convenient, especially when West Lake's traffic restrictions made it impossible to get a taxi. The buffet breakfast also offered a good variety. I was very satisfied with the accommodation on this trip. A special thanks to Ms. Shao!

AAnthony PhillipThis place is absolutely amazing! The hotel is extremely relaxing and peaceful, the food is delicious, with the breakfast being exceptional, and the spa area (sauna, steam, jacuzzi) is an absolute delight after a round of golf. As for the golf course, set amongst a tea plantation, it is stunning! For both hotel and golf course team, nothing was too much trouble, and a special mention goes to Lucy, front of house manager, who was attentive from first to last, and ensured my stay was very memorable. Wwd900428What an unforgettable trip! I participated in the Kailas Moganshan Trail Race, and afterward, I wanted to take my mom on a short vacation. Originally, I thought about staying at Naked Castle, but after some research, I realized Naked Valley was a better fit with more hotel activities. My choice certainly proved to be wise! When I arrived, the lovely young lady who checked me in, Nancy, became my personal butler. I truly have to thank my wonderful butler; her dedicated service made my trip absolutely perfect! They don't just provide service; they treat you like family, a close friend, always thinking of your needs. This heartfelt and genuine service made my mom incredibly happy during our three-day, two-night stay. The hotel activities were also incredibly rich and varied. We made lipstick, baked cookies, painted handmade canvas bags, and crafted twisty stick flowers. Each activity was explained patiently and thoughtfully, providing a wonderful experience. On the afternoon of check-in, we booked a spa massage and had a hot stone massage. After just finishing the race, it was truly heavenly! The management was also beyond excellent. In the evening, we booked a table at Kikaboni restaurant, and the hotel even gifted us a bottle of red wine. The food was really delicious, and the service was fantastic. The hotel breakfast was also very abundant. The environment is beautiful, and Naked Valley's small cakes definitely live up to their reputation – they taste amazing! My mom was truly overjoyed. A huge thank you to my butler, Nancy, I will definitely be back to stay again. I still want to try horse riding and archery! Oh, and it's worth mentioning that this is a pet-friendly hotel! The adorable little dog at the entrance is a super cute, well-behaved dog! The joy of petting dogs! They are incredibly thoughtful towards dogs here, offering pet-specific strollers and even pet menus. Honestly, there are just too many good things to list; everyone really needs to experience it for themselves!

AAnonymous UserFirstly, the location of the hotel is fantastic! The MRT station is just outside the hotel and the hotel is walking distance to wulin night market and west lake! In addition, the hotel provides transportation service to tour west lake and to Suzhou/Shanghai. Housekeeping is also done daily. Breakfast is really a good spread! Service from the staffs were great too! A few down side is that the wifi in the room is super bad. I had 4 rooms booked together and the wifi in all rooms were bad. Called front desk to assist but was still not fixed. Washer pressure from shower isnt fantastic and the temperature of the water is not easy to adjust (slight tilt and its either too hot or too cold).

__M1303350****The hotel's location is excellent, and the entire decor has a Republican China-era style, which is very elegant and full of atmosphere. The hotel offers a buffet breakfast with a good variety of options. Makabaka was also very thoughtful and attentive, giving us guidance on touring the scenic area. Overall, we felt very much at home, and I'd definitely recommend it to friends.

DDafeigeのlvxingji🌿 **Ambiance & Environment** This might be one of the hotels with the most breathtaking views I've ever stayed in! Our room offered an unparalleled vista – truly a 'living painting' the moment you open the window. From the moment we drove through the hotel gates, the meticulous and thoughtful service was evident; staff guided us all the way, so we never worried about getting lost. After parking, the hotel provided dedicated internal shuttles for pick-up and drop-off, making it completely hassle-free and elevating the whole experience. Waking up in the morning, gently drawing back the curtains, and watching the mist drift through the mountains, changing with the light – it was truly a sight so beautiful I couldn't tear my eyes away 🤩. Even doing nothing but lying in the room and soaking in the view brought immense joy. 🍴 **Dining Experience** The cliffside restaurant is an absolute must-visit! Perched right on the edge of the cliff, it features floor-to-ceiling windows that offer panoramic views of the entire valley the moment you sit down. We were incredibly fortunate to secure a table with the best view; the expansive vista was simply stunning. Eating breakfast while watching the clouds and mist dance through the valley was profoundly therapeutic. Breakfast offered a rich and diverse selection, a perfect blend of Chinese and Western options, ensuring you'd never get tired of it. I must especially commend the rice noodles – with three distinct toppings, each bursting with fresh, savory flavor that left me craving more! I ordered them two days in a row; the more I ate, the more I loved them 😋. 😄 **Overall Experience** If you're looking for a romantic getaway for an anniversary, or a relaxing weekend road trip within the Jiangsu-Zhejiang-Shanghai region, this place is absolutely perfect! There's no need to meticulously plan an itinerary; the hotel itself is a 'self-contained holiday haven'. The complimentary activities alone are enough to fill a day: archery, billiards, craft-making... each one was engaging and fun. The paid activities were also reasonably priced. We tried both pottery and the spa, and highly recommend them. The entire experience was both relaxing and engaging, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves and truly 'slow down and savor the moment'. ✨ **Special Thanks** **Butler Xiao Chen**: The person who touched me the most throughout our stay! Not only were they professional and efficient, perfectly arranging all our small requests, but they were also incredibly thoughtful, often anticipating details we hadn't even considered. For instance, reminders for shuttle times, activity bookings, and little surprises in the room... they truly elevated the joy of our wedding anniversary trip. It genuinely felt less like staying at a hotel and more like being cared for by an old friend – incredibly heartwarming 💖. **Spa Therapist Sijia Celia**: Her professional and skillful techniques combined with gentle service truly healed my soul and left me completely relaxed. Afterwards, I felt light in body and mind, and utterly refreshed. **Craft Class Teachers Dina & Fern**: They were incredibly patient while guiding us through making fragrance sachets, providing step-by-step instructions and even encouraging us to add our own creative touches. The final products were not only beautiful but also imbued with wonderful memories. **Pottery & Painting Instructor Deng Chensi Sam**: Very professional, explained everything in detail, and gave us lots of inspiration and suggestions. He even thoughtfully added us on WeChat so we could track the firing and delivery progress of our pieces at any time. He truly embodies 'delivering peace of mind'! **Archery Instructor 🏹**: He was absolutely fantastic! His instruction was very professional, and the atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable. We even participated in an archery competition and surprisingly won a prize! He called immediately to inform us and personally delivered the prize to our room. That moment truly warmed our hearts~

MM300526****I was a bit surprised by the price at first, and curious to see what kind of service I'd get for it! 1: We arrived at 1 AM, and the owner, who usually finishes at 10:30 PM, waited up for us until 1 AM, and even helped us carry our luggage upstairs! 2: Whenever the owner sees you coming in or going out, they'll open the door for you! Service is top-notch. 3: If you want to eat breakfast in your room, that's fine too; the owner will even bring it up for you! And the breakfast is incredibly generous! 4: The whole room was very clean and hygienic, and we had a very comfortable stay. The underfloor heating was just turned on a bit too early, haha. It was too hot at night, and we had to turn it off before we could sleep. 5: There are two very cute cats that aren't afraid of people. 6: Also, I drove here, and parking fees in this area are very expensive. The owner waived the parking fee for me, which saved me over 200 yuan. I almost felt bad about it! In short, it was an excellent value! I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit West Lake.

The hotel's Chinese restaurant for dinner is not expensive, there is a small zoo and horse riding 😀. The lawn is very large and suitable for outdoor. The hotel is very large, and there are many places such as the wine cellar that I don't have time to visit because I have a baby. I will come again next time.

AAmanda DeBoerThe location was beautiful - beautiful views and lots of tea around! Everyone was helpful and it was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very traditional Chinese. The location was difficult to get or from via Didi during peak times. We were able to make it work though. The A/C wasn't turned on yet so it was warm in the room if windows were closed. If windows were open, it was very noisy starting at about 5:00 am. All-in-all, it was a nice trip in a beautiful location.
