Family Hotels in Hong Kong

When choosing a hotel, I always check the bedding first because I have sensitive skin. I also prioritize transportation, location, and room cleanliness, and the Four Seasons Hotel satisfied all my expectations. The staff were friendly, the hotel pool had a great view, and the in-hotel restaurants and bar were also top-notch! The view from the room was also incredibly beautiful, making for a delightful trip. I was worried about the heat or typhoons since it was a July trip, but the weather was fantastic, and the fact that the IFC Mall is connected to the hotel made getting around easy, which made the trip even better. I highly recommend the Four Seasons Hotel! 👍👍👍

We chose the family room at Royal Plaza Hotel in Hong Kong for our trip, and the experience was a pleasant surprise! The room was much more spacious than a standard room, with two large beds and plenty of room to move around without feeling cramped. It was spotlessly clean, the bedding was soft, and the bathroom had a separate shower and toilet. All the facilities were well-maintained. The hotel is connected to Mong Kok East Station, making it super convenient for getting around and exploring. There's a shopping mall downstairs, and it's very close to Mong Kok and Tsim Sha Tsui. The room was quiet, so we had an undisturbed night's rest. There was ample space for our luggage without feeling cluttered. The hotel service was thoughtful, and check-in was efficient. Overall, the quality was excellent. If couples visiting Hong Kong want a more spacious stay, I highly recommend this room. I'd definitely consider staying here again next time!

We chose this hotel for a short break before our tour of mainland China. The room was spacious with an excellent sea view. The toiletries in the bathroom were good, all necessary amenities were provided, and cleaning was thorough. The large pool offered a beautiful view. The grounds were well-maintained and clean. The staff were attentive, and the concierges were helpful with calling taxis. We had dinner in the lobby and enjoyed the food. The only relative downside was breakfast. While there was a large selection, there weren't many European options, and what was available didn't seem very tasty.

This time, I came to Hong Kong with friends, and staying here was incredibly convenient. The MTR station is right outside, and the hotel is in a very bustling central Tsim Sha Tsui location. It's also a short walk from the West Kowloon High-Speed Rail Station. The room matched the pictures perfectly; it was just a bit small, but the decor was new, and everything was clean and well-equipped. No adapter was needed to charge devices. The service was excellent; the front desk staff, both the gentleman and the lady, were very gentle and patient when speaking, and they were always helpful with any questions. On our last day, since we had a late flight, they kindly stored our luggage. When we came back to pick it up, they even thoughtfully asked if we knew how to get to the airport, which was really heartwarming.

Having stayed at many hotels in Hong Kong, this one offers excellent value for money. It's easy to find, located right next to V City mall and about 100 meters from Tuen Mun MTR station. The breakfast is also very reasonably priced. The room is spacious, with two double beds that can easily accommodate four people. Absolutely recommended!

The room is quite spacious, and the front desk service was excellent. The shuttle bus was also very convenient. I would definitely stay here again next time I visit Hong Kong. There's a beach right next to the hotel, perfect for a quiet stroll. The sea view is beautiful.

Dorsett is a good chain hotel that I’ve stayed at before many times in Hong Kong, but I have to say this is probably my least favourite of the several locations they have. The hotel does offer good facilities and good sized rooms with comfortable bedding, bathroom. The hotel also has a gym, and restaurant. However, the location isn’t too good and despite saying it’s only a few hundred meters away from two metro stations it’s quite a long and inconvenient walk from either. In addition, one side of the hotel overlooks a huge cemetery and grave yard - so if you are particular about this kinda of thing it would be an issue and it would be your entire view so something you can’t avoid. This isn’t mentioned anywhere else from what I can find. The only way you can avoid this is to pay to upgrade to a premium room (I feel this is a little unfair way of marketing). Staff are generally friendly however I did find one of the concierge a little rude and abrupt.

I really think this place offers great value for money. It wasn't much more expensive than hotels near the Shenzhen border, and the room was much bigger than I expected and looked quite proper. Before coming here, I had actually lowered my expectations, wondering what kind of hotel you could get for just over 300 (excluding tax) during the summer holiday. After all, the night before, I paid over 200 near the Shenzhen border for a room with a tiny window, no soundproofing, and even mold. So, I was genuinely surprised when I arrived! It's a standalone hotel building with a spacious lobby on the ground floor. The staff were also very friendly. I'm from a remote part of Chongqing and only speak Mandarin, not Cantonese, but I didn't feel discriminated against at all. They have a free shuttle service, which I didn't know about at first. You can take the shuttle from Tsuen Wan MTR station (exit E) – the pickup point is next to Metroplaza on the opposite side. You don't need anything to board the shuttle to the hotel, but you do need to book in advance with the front desk for the return trip. One minor drawback is that check-in isn't until 3 PM, and check-out is at 11 AM the next day, which is different from mainland China, so you'll need to plan your time accordingly.

If you're visiting Lantau Island, Mui Wo, or Silvermine Bay, I highly recommend this hotel. I came here after a day at Disneyland, and it took about 80 minutes to get here (the MTR is fast, but waiting for the bus at night can be tricky). First off, the hotel's location is excellent. It's far from the city's hustle and bustle, with its eastern side facing the sea. From a sea view room, you can open your eyes and watch the sunrise, enjoying the sun and beach. Silvermine Bay Beach is right outside, and Lantau Island is behind you, offering BBQ, fishing, and various water activities – you can play however you like! It's a 10-minute walk to Mui Wo Pier, where a 30-40 minute ferry ride takes you directly to Central and the Observation Wheel, essentially like taking the Star Ferry for a tour of Victoria Harbour. Secondly, the price is very friendly. Just make sure to book a room type that includes tax and breakfast. The value for money is clearly far superior to those crowded, noisy hotels with small beds and no breakfast in Tsim Sha Tsui or Central. And yes, the breakfast is quite good too. The only slight drawback is the charging situation. There are USB ports, but they can be unstable. However, even though there isn't an adapter, there's a vending machine that sells them. Special tip: Remember to bring a deposit (or a credit card for pre-authorization).

The environment here is fantastic, and the facilities are all very well-equipped. The service is also excellent; every day, the staff greeted us with a smile and were very attentive. It's not too far from Disney, which is very convenient. And especially the hotel's view!!! It's absolutely stunning.
