Family Hotels in Macau, China

Booked a three-day, two-night luxurious Royal Suite through Ctrip. Upon arriving at the hotel lobby, we were greeted by a young and lovely Ms. Wen. She warmly and thoughtfully inquired about our check-in preferences and then specifically arranged a room for us on a non-smoking floor. To allow us more time for activities, she even permitted us to go directly to our room to rest and drop off our luggage before noon. Her efficient and excellent service added a lot of pleasant surprises and joy to our trip. We are truly grateful for that!

Arrived in Macau after 9 PM. The 701X bus from Hengqin Port took us directly to the hotel lobby entrance, which was super convenient. Every staff member was polite and helpful when answering questions. We arrived too late to ride the Ferris wheel, though. They told us the room had free snacks and drinks and also pointed out places for kids to play. There's food, drinks, and a Don Quijote on the first floor, great for a browse. The night view was beautiful, with the Eiffel Tower and MGM visible across the way.

I do not know why it took me so long to truly discover this side of Macau. First off, this hotel is located within walking distance from Senado Square/Ruins of St Paul. It is located on a street where there are many Filipinos. There are two Filipino supermarkets and a Filipino takeaway store. It is also close to the main road where a bus stop for the route going to the airport. There are several stores nearby. You can even walk to the terminal where you can catch a ferry to Zhuhai (mainland China). I would definitely stay here again. Front desk people are warm and helpful. The room itself has two bottles of water, toiletries, water kettle, phone, safety deposit box, hangers, TV, slippers. Love it! The only thing I wish is for the toilet to have a bidet. Otherwise, it's perfect!

Sweating it out while running with a view of the Grand Lisboa & Almeida Ribeiro Street is truly refreshing. 🪧 The location is superb, right on the peninsula. It's only a 15-minute walk to the Ruins of St. Paul's. Guests get free parking upon check-in, plus 3 hours of free parking for all guests, with additional free hours for spending! This is super friendly for those who drive!!! Dining, a supermarket 🛒, and a cinema 🎬 are all downstairs in the YOHO Treasure Island Mall. The Jellycat tennis 🎾 charm and the small bear soft necklace 🧸 are so cute!!! For lunch, I had a Five Guys burger 🍔 – I absolutely love their bacon cheeseburger; the beef patty is so juicy. In the afternoon, I went to CAFÉ KITSUNE for coffee ☕️. The coffee art had the brand's classic little fox design. The dessert display had a wide variety of beautiful pastries. In the evening, I had an authentic Chaoshan beef hotpot at Hoi Wan Hoi Kei, then went to Bona International Cinema to watch the latest Zootopia 2. It was so chill ✨. Cleanliness: Very clean. Environment: The room was spacious enough and directly overlooked the garden, starting the day off right! 💚💚💚 Spent two leisurely days in Macau, enjoying the Grand Lisboa Palace~~ The French garden here is absolutely stunning! This dreamlike sky garden feels like a secret garden from a European palace. The Baroque architecture beautifully contrasts with the lush green lawns and exquisite gardens surrounding it. It transports you back in time to old movie scenes of aristocratic weddings. Every corner is a fantastic backdrop for photos, and it's definitely become a popular spot for influencers. #GrandLisboaPalace

This hotel is located on Beijing Road, with a bus stop right downstairs. It's incredibly convenient for shopping, with Xinmiao and Laolai supermarkets nearby, and a wide variety of restaurants to choose from. The front desk staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was neat and clean, and the mattress and bedding were comfortable. The breakfast selection was also rich and varied. I'm already looking forward to my next stay!

Our stay at Sofitel Macau at Ponte 16 was absolutely delightful and exceeded our expectations in every way. The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of the historic district, just steps away from Senado Square, Ruins of St. Paul’s, and many cultural landmarks. It offers the perfect balance between luxury comfort and easy access to Macau’s heritage attractions. The room was spacious, beautifully designed, and extremely comfortable. The bed was plush, the bathroom was spotless with premium amenities, and the view of the Inner Harbour added a special touch to our mornings.

This hotel is situated on a small hill and is quite large with many rooms. It offers a tranquil environment and is conveniently close to attractions like the Grand Lisboa and Lisboa Hotel, Senado Square, and the Ruins of St. Paul's. The rooms are spacious (around 27㎡), well-equipped, and very new. They are also spotlessly clean with bright lighting. A great feature is that you can directly charge your phone at the bedside without needing an adapter. Overall, it provided a very comfortable stay and offers excellent value for money in Macau. The staff were exceptionally friendly and enthusiastic, even providing extra bottles of mineral water, toiletries, and disposable slippers, which was a thoughtful touch. This will definitely be my top choice for future visits to Macau.

The location is not really very convenient and it’s not directly connected to most casino so you’ll have to expect to pay for public transportation mostly. For other hotels, u can usually travel between Macau and Taipa with their shuttle buses for free. For this hotel, the shuttle bus system isn’t very good, the frequency of departure is low and the operating time is limited. The walking route that shows on google maps isn’t quite accurate so be prepared.

We requested a smoking room, but there was hardly any lingering smell, which was great. We stayed on the 17th floor, and the breakfast included a fantastic lobster buffet – truly all-you-can-eat! Downstairs, you can go shopping, and it's quite close to Wynn Palace. To get to Senado Square, there's no shuttle, so you'll need to take a taxi or other transportation. We paid 80 MOP for a taxi there. On the way back, we took a shuttle to another hotel and then walked the rest of the way. Overall, the breakfast offers much better value for money than the local cha chaan tengs, so it's definitely worth trying.
