The location of Han Hsien is very convenient. It’s only twenty minutes from the airport. There are coffee shops, bakeries, and markets, fruit stalls and flower shops in the neighbourhood. The Birthday Park is just around the corner. There is a pool, a spa and a Cantonese dim sum restaurant in the hotel which are all of good standard. The hotel is not new but it is well-maintained.

It's in a great location, within walking distance of public transportation and pretty much all Xinbeitou places of interest. The staff were very kind and friendly. Our room was very large and the bed was big and comfortable too. The free snacks, tea and coffee were a nice touch. I read other reviews complaining that the rooms are old and in need of renovation. The curtains were old and had holes in them, but other than that our room was in good condition. We made good use of the hot spring bath, which was our main reason for coming up to Beitou. I was surprised that bathrobes were not provided, which would have been appreciated. The bathroom stayed damp after using the steamy hot bath on the first day, but the cleaning staff wiped it down on the second day. If it hadn't been quite so cold outside we could have opened the bathroom window to let it dry out more quickly. Breakfast was typical buffet style, maybe not enough variety for typical Westerners, but we were satisfied with the selection. All in all, it's a nice hotel for visiting Xinbeitou area and having your own large hot spring bath.

Second time here. The 1st time was more than 10 years ago. Friendly staff and good private hot spring bath tub. The room is clean. The shuttle bus is on time. However, the hotel needs some renovation to keep it a 5 star hotel standards, as the room is quite old and the lift only had one side buttons working (the disabled side buttons don’t work).

Easy to catch taxi, Uber or taking the bus as bus stop is just right in front of the hotel. The hotel also offers complimentary happy hour with a variety of wines and spirits to choose from, or can always go for a coffee, tea or juice. A complimentary mini-bar is also offered! Breakfast selection is great too.

The greater the expectations, the greater the disappointment. It’s been a while since I’ve written such a long comment. No malicious comments, just sincerely disappointed. Facilities: At this price, the room facilities are a bit disappointing. 1. There are not many TVs to watch. 2. The bathroom decoration is not very good; the bathtub is small...the toilet water pressure is not enough... 3. The elevator…it took a long time… 4. The slippers in the room are too cheap... You can refer to Just Sleep or Jingquan next door. Serve: 1. The front desk service is just like that. There is no enthusiastic introduction to hotel services and facilities. Although breakfast is included with the room rate, at least tell the customer the time and place of the meal. (It makes me feel like I have lived there) 2. When I have breakfast alone, I don’t bring guests to the side to eat. It feels very uncomfortable and makes me want to be autistic. 3. WIFI should be mentioned when handing over the room card to the customer, instead of asking the customer to call the front desk to ask, and then the front desk will inform the room that there is an A4 paper with writing on it.

The hotel room is very tidy. The mountain view room has floor-to-ceiling glass on both sides, which is very beautiful when the sun shines. Only the bathroom is supplied with hot spring water, so there has been scale on the faucet for a long time. This is not a big problem. The biggest shortcoming is that the bathtub was not cleaned enough, leaving some old mud stains from previous residents on the bottom of the bathtub. I hope it can be improved! Breakfast was served in the lobby on the ground floor. The food quality and selection were satisfactory. I appreciated that vegetarian options were available and other food was also delicious. The hotel has a hollow design, and the natural light from the roof falls into the restaurant. The restaurant area itself is spacious enough, making it feel as comfortable as being in an open-air place.

Before we arrived, I emailed the hotel to require assistance from hotel to check for private charter car service for YiLan and the staff was very responsive and helpful. Upon arrival, front desk staff was a little cold (unlike what people mentioned in the reviews). We were swiftly checked in and could go up to the room. Hotel lobby is very cosy and welcoming, but the rooms are starting to look a little old with moulding and wear and tear. Very large, spacious and clean room. If I'm not wrong, the water to fill up the tub is not hot spring water but just normal tap/shower water. If you're looking for a hotel with with hot spring water, do take note. Location of the hotel is great though. We were very near Jiaoxi bus transfer station and managed to walk to our hotel within 5 mins. There are restaurants and fast food, bar, and a shopping area nearby. Jiaoxi hot spring night market (only open on Sundays) is 4mins drive away and Yilan train station was 10mins on foot. Breakfast service was great! Staff were quick to clear and set up tables without making us feel like we were being chased out. They were also very sweet. On our 3rd morning, we needed to leave to rush for our bus to Taoyuan, we were holding our luggages and they directed us to store our luggages with the front desk first. They saw that we were in a rush and told us that we could let them know if we're would like to take along some snacks or drink to accompany us on our trip. They even bid us good bye. Check out process was smooth with an aloof staff. Felt like he couldn't be bothered.

This is an excellent hotel! It looks clean and posh; both interior and exterior and there is a hot spring tub in the room! Room is not that extremely big but is good enough for the 3 of us! Hotel staff lady warned us of big group during our stay and prealerted us in advance to come early for breakfast in order to avoid the massive jam. What a good gesture! Breakfast spread is good and I like the overall hotel vibe. Regretted that we should have stayed for another night if time permits! Nothing else to fault, all almost perfect!

Snacks that are down to earth: Samsung green onion-flavored biscuits and tongue biscuits The bed is not soft. Very satisfied. The air conditioning is strong enough, the water volume of the bathtub in the room is large, and you don't have to wait long to take a bath We provide tea seed hall bath products and hair conditioner The hair dryer is small but has plenty of airflow, even for long hair. The second floor has a reading area, a gym, and a snack bar. Two types of tea and four types of snacks are provided (no duplication with those in the room) There is a late-night snack at 9-10pm on weekends. It is hot food (it was meatball rice noodle soup on that day) There is also a small garden on the eighth floor with tables and chairs provided If you want to use the public pool, please remember to bring your swimsuit. You can also buy it on site. Just roll up your trouser legs for the foot bath in the fish pond There are water dispensers on each floor, but hot water is only available on the first floor. A kettle is provided in the room. As soon as I entered the room, I found hair on the quilt and the room smelled a bit damp. It is recommended to open the small door next to the bathtub to create a small gap for ventilation The exhaust fan in the bathroom is connected to the light, and even if the curtains are closed, it is impossible to completely block out the light. The soundproofing is average. In the morning, you can hear the sound of the staff pushing the spare parts cart (´･_･`)

Best hotel I've went to so far in Yilan! Loved the spacious room and bathroom - was surprised to see two televisions in the room haha. Everything felt luxurious and clean! What's most important is the super King bed - had a really good sleep :) Pretty convenient located nearby restaurants and shops!

This new hot springs hotel is marvellous! The room is very spacious, with hot springs bath and very nice amenities too! There’s a mini bar with drinks, snacks and even face masks! Beds are comfy with long sofa to relax! Their hot pot buffet is very good too!

The location is convenient, yet quiet and prosperous. The geothermal valley and the museum are within walking distance. The breakfast is very delicious, with both Chinese and Western options. The hot springs are clean and the price/performance ratio is very high. It’s worth staying again.

The hotel is a bit old. When I arrived, I was given room 201. I found that the bathtub was not the one I requested. In the end, the hotel gave me room 305. The room was much larger than 201. The bathtub was not very big, so my friend who was taller had to hug his legs to soak. . The hotel provides a shuttle bus, and it only costs NTD100 from Xinbeitou Station to the hotel via Uber. Even if you walk, it’s not too far, but you should pay attention to safety when the road is dark at night. It only takes 10 to 15 minutes to walk to various attractions. I stayed here for 2 nights.

hotel food for breakfast is typical japanese style and the option is sufficient for small eater like me. Services from the butler is perfect and personalised. Facilities like Onsen bath and SPA and restaurants are also excellent (but come with a premium price though)

They don’t serve buffet for breakfast. They only served western or ********* style. It was bored if keep on eating the same food every morning.

I specially brought my children to play, but the game room is very simple and requires a fee. The opening hours of the parent-child fitness center are very short and the space is not big. The hotel hardware is good although it is older, but it is still clean. There are really few service staff. All services are required. It’s really hard to wait and wait for breakfast. Many things are not replenished. The cafe on the first floor is also very hard to eat. It’s hard to believe that the food in this hotel is of this level. I was full of expectations for this hotel. Now I can only say that I probably won’t visit again.

Room is quite large than expect, the hotel has onsen and fitness room but it open at 2 pm which is a little bit weird for people who want to exercise in the morning, some amenities have to ask in the front desk. But over all is ok. The price for new year period is ridiculous expensive even the hotel is very far from the city, anyway you can get the bus in front the hotel and there is 7-11 next to.

Yun Estate Hotel is one of the best hotel that i stayed during my family trip to Taiwan. The personal Hot spring catered in the room. Spacious Apartment style unit with a grand living room and a tatami style room for meditation or some sort. Not to mention the great wardrobe area and a seat in the toilet for automatic shower. Its a shame that we only stayed for 1 night in this hotel. Special gratitude to the staff in the hotel that provided us an extra blanket because our one year old baby spilled his milk on the blanket. Thank you. I would stay longer to enjoy the facilities more on our next stay.

I booked a hotel more than a month in advance and contacted the hotel counter to request a room on a high floor. However, I was later told that the restaurant company was having a wedding event and was overcrowded that day. It only took 1 minute to check in. The receptionist was impatient and arranged a room on a lower floor. I asked I was impatient even though I had no time. The parking lot was completely full and we circled around a few times. Fortunately, the security guard provided good service and gave us his private parking space. This is the only part worth thanking.

We loved our stay here. It’s the perfect hot spring for all kind of trips. Amazing for families too with perfect spots for youngest to enjoy. There is only one thing to complain: the quality of the food, we had breakfast (pretty decent), but lunch options are really limited, not much veggies to add in your plate and not very healthy options. Also, the cut of the meats weren’t the best, so the meat we tried was really hard to chew. The staff, specially in the main building are really helpful and kind. I

Conveniently located on the beach, a five minute walk from the train station. The room was large and clean. Bed were very comfortable. Lots of amenities. I like that the room had two toilets. The breakfast was copious, so much choice, mostly Chinese foods but delicious. The only thing I would say is the down side of this hotel is that the façade looks run down. It desperately needs a new paint job to look like a luxury hotel. The inside is really nice but the outside looks abandoned. But I noticed this is often the case with many buildings in Taiwan. The upkeep of the façade doesn’t seem important to them.

The overall design is beautiful, the room is very clean, very close to Wulai Old Street, the hot spring bathtub is very large and very comfortable to soak in, but the water output of the shower head is too small, the sound insulation of the room is a bit poor, and you can hear the voices of the neighbors. I have long hair and feel that the shampoo replenishment is a bit insufficient. The room does not provide body lotion, and there is no place to charge the bedside table, which is a bit troublesome, but the breakfast is not bad, there is a parking lot, and parking is very convenient!

The hotel has all the facilities that the hotel should have, but the only regret is that there are less choices in the morning meal, and the drinks only have milk and soy milk. Other than that, the facilities in the hotel are not bad and the atmosphere is good! ! There is also a bathtub for taking a bath, the water is clear and perfect for relaxing!
