Harbour Plaza 8 degrees hotel was definitely value for money and convenient with their free shuttle bus from Kowloon West Station to the hotel and another drop-off location near the pier and Nathan road.
The hotel was very clean, staff friendly, and helpful. The 8 degrees Café' s charming seafood dinner buffet was a feast and had not only the best tasting seafood dishes but many more dishes, and it was delicious from start to finish! Would stay there again, any time!

Location is great. Most malls and MTR are connected by overpasses, making it very easy to get around even during rainy weather.
Standard amenities are provided, hair conditioner not included. Only one sandblasted window in our room, so there wasn't really a view. Room was small compared to two other hotels in which we stayed during our trip. AC was sufficient, however air circulation was not for some reason. Even with a dehumidifier on (provided by the hotel) my hand-washed clothes would take longer than usual to dry.
Aside from all of this, my biggest complaint was actually the room service. We forgot to put the DND tag on our door, which was partly our fault, but when they knocked on the door we insisted that we did not want room service. The lady was adamant about coming in and barged in when I was still in bed! On previous nights, we were also woken up several times by either the neighbours or the cleaning ladies, as the rooms were not very soundproof.
Overall, unless I really want the convenience of everything nearby and within walking distance, I probably won't come here again.

My stay was simply excellent. The staff at the Regal Kowloon Hotel were consummate professionals, working quickly and efficiently, especially during busy check in and check out times. I received a room upgrade during my stay, which was a pleasant surprise.
The room, although being a bit old, was clean and spacious with a spectacular view.
The hotel breakfast was fresh, with plentiful options for multiple dietary requirements.

The location is extremely convenient, I couldn’t imagine the best area to stay in Hong Kong for my first experience here! The hotel is close to bus and subway stations. My hotel room view was 10 out of 10. Unfortunately, there was an incident with my personal belongings when a cleaning lady threw away my water bottles and tripod plastic bag. These items weren’t in the trash bin, I’ve never had such experience with any cleaning service that they take responsibility for throwing away their guests’ things. That incident worsened my impression of the hotel. I didn’t feel like my stuff would be safe and sound inside my hotel room. In general, the hotel is nice to stay in Hong Kong.

Brought many friends to stay at the Mira but never got to the chance to have a stay ourselves with the family
The hotel is really good equip with good facilities and attention to service. Thats really good.
Less good are the elevator management, you feel like a reaction game to take the elevator when you stay to close to the doors but have to to run if you stay a bit away from it. Doors are annoyingly fast closing and you have to wait for the next.
Also the room lighting management drove us crazy. There is a master button to kill the lights but it's big puzzle to just open the side bed lights without disturbing the sleeping kids
But the kids loved the stay and that's what counts

Our stay at the Disneyland Hollywood Hotel was nothing short of enchanting! From the moment we stepped into the room, we were greeted by a vibrant mural of classic Disney characters Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, and Pluto. All smiling down on us like old friends. The cheerful decor instantly transported us into the world of Disney magic. 🐭✨
The room was cozy, spotless, and filled with charming touches, like the adorable Mickey-themed pillows and the playful “Now Showing” bedside table that made us feel like stars in our own fairytale. Every little detail was thoughtfully designed to celebrate the joy and nostalgia of Disney.

Pros: great location, on the main red metro line. The bus to the airport is also a 5-minute walk away, comfortable beds, clean linen. Cons: the bathroom is old, cleanliness is 3+, the hose was leaking, once the water in the toilet stopped draining, but the hotel staff fixed it quickly within half an hour and the cleaning lady quickly cleaned up.

This hotel is linked to a few malls and the MTR Shatin station is linked to one of the malls. Instead of taking train from the airport (needed to change at various interchange) there is a direct public bus from the airport to hotel which was superb since we were travelling with children and old folks.
Rooms are spacious. Standing shower which is great for older folks and younger children.
Self service laundry is available at this hotel. Excellent service from the staff as mentioned by my mum. She did not have sufficient stored value in her octopus card to proceed with her washing of laundry. Since it was already late into the night, the hotel staff was kind enough to use her own octopus card to help get the machines working while my mum paid the staff in cash. Thumbs up for the initiative by the staff. :)
Would definitely recommend this hotel to those who are looking for spacious rooms and less packed vicinity.

MMahendra GrgRoom is Spacious with good sea view. We are upgraded to Deluxe suite in same floor cause we are 2 families. Location is bit far from the center but its in a peace environment. Swimming pool is ok for the kids. I am not satisfied with the Restaurant food. It will be good if the Vending machine has more food options so we will have more choices to eat. Overall ok to stay.

SSilverHawk81Dorsett Tsuen Wan is a modern, budget-friendly hotel in Hong Kong, offering convenience and comfort at an affordable price. Located just a short walk from Tsuen Wan MTR Station, it provides easy access to central Hong Kong, making it ideal for both business and leisure travelers.
Close to Tai Wo Kou station
Competitive pricing for Hong Kong, with regular promotions.
Compact but well-designed with cozy beds, good Wi-Fi, and smart TVs.
Friendly and efficient service, with English-speaking receptionists.
Dorsett Tsuen Wan delivers excellent value for money. While rooms are small, they’re clean and functional, and the location is unbeatable for exploring Hong Kong. A solid choice for budget-conscious travelers who prioritize convenience.
AAnthonyyyChanIt’s a hidden gem in the city! I stay at Royal View Hotel for 3 weeks, staff are so nice and helpful. Especially the overnight front desk staff really help me a lot! The best thing is the shuttle bus, every 15 minutes from 7am to 11pm, no need to worry about no convenience store nearby! The room was upgraded and the view is stunning. Definitely will stay here again!

GGuest UserThe YMCA Salisbury has many flaws - but for the price it's just about worth it for a location second to none.
Positives: you get an unbelievably great location right in front of the harbour with hundreds of the cities shops and restaurants on your doorstep.
They are flexible in allowing outside food, food Panda deliveries etc and generally leave you alone.
Great views over the harbour - from our room we could see the light show and the ships floating along all day.
Check in and check out were quick and the whole stay was uncomplicated.
Flaws: the hotel is not particularly clean and overall the facilities are a little tired.
There are no real comforts - no tea/coffee facilities in room - though a kettle and cups are provided. Even drinking water had to be collected in your own bottle from a specific place on the 7nd floor.
Service is courteous but not very warm - it may be just just professionalism but feels a little strange when you've arrived after a long flight to a matter-of-fact welcome.
I was with kids so we booked a larger room. It was a decent size not huge but this is probably large for HK - it had huge windows and a separate bedroom. However, the children were set up on the sofa bed and this was very thin and uncomfortable.
All in all, if you want an unfussy, convenient spot in the heart of HK for a quick stay this is perfect. Minimise your expectations and enjoy the town and you will be happy.

CCarlMLess than 1 minute from the beach. There is a semi-private balcony. I wish checkout was later than 11am. Noisy when they are cleaning the rooms in the morning, around 9-10am.
This island is very relaxing. Bus to HK airport in about 30 minutes is less than a 10 minute walk from the hotel and cost about USD8. Buses to subway take about the same time and cost around the same.
ZZwebenLocation is at the ferry terminals for Northpoint and Central. Love this.. No highway in bay view.. Hunghom has just about everything one needs with 2 or 3 blocks. Short list, restaurant mall, Aeon,Park and Shop.Paper Stone Bakery. Don Ding.. missing fast food venues, Fortress Electronics
Lovely rooms.. but virtually no drawers.. no desk in the suites! No butler l, hooks closet for coats by the door. And someone is lecturing like bge managers, housekeeping the flowers mean bugs.. no it doesn't, and yes there should be bouquets .
Great Red Sugar bar , currently for Tea and Happy Hours. Very good buffet and reasonably priced!
Staff all wonderful and helpful.
Watched sailboats in the bay when there was level one typhoon alert..but hotel had all doors locked tight except entrance..very odd.
GGuest User[rating the balcony room as we got upgraded]
Everything was pretty much perfect and the experience is one of a kind.
- The room is spacious, ultra modern (bathroom is just amazing), equipped with cutlery, fridge, and all the necessary.
- The view on the sea (from bedroom, balcony) is absolutely stunning and so is the view on the marina (from bedroom and bathroom)
- Bedding quite comfortable and easy access to light and curtain from bed
- Breakfast best-in-class
- swimming pool one of the best in HK
- friendly staff
Only thing is this is very big hotel so need to queue at checkin and also a bit at checkout
